My four year old son sometimes has trouble with focus and with following directions. This could be because he is four or for other reasons; we don't really know. He has been coming to Alpha Martial Arts for a few weeks now and seems to be so into it that he is respectful in class to his masters, he listens and follows directions, and for at least the brief time he spends here, is focused. Let's be Alpha! My 7 and 9 year old boys take lessons here. The teachers have been so kinda and attentive working with my boys and encouraging them when they feel intimidated by class. I've seen the boys blossom and feel more confident and well as work on their focus. The school also encourages the kids to be kind and helpful outside of class which I love. My 5 yr old has been in enrolled in many great classes and activities over the years. Nothing compares, or comes close, to what is offered at Alpha Martial Arts and Master Woo (and leaders). Classes are never the same. New skills are learned every time and it keeps the class interesting and fun for the students. Master Woo is kind but firm. Students taught with *positive encouragement* and they are learning more than Taekwondo - respect, discipline, confidence, and kindness are all a part of it. and... Covid-practices are on point.
