That ended up not being the case, as I was overwhelmed with the wide variety of selection, and spent easily 20 minutes alone just looking at the water globes. I ended up leaving the store to go meet up with my wife, and after a quick diaper change of the baby, I ditched her again and came right back here. For Mother's Day, I ended up purchasing her a very pretty necklace and engraving it with a personal message, plus a beautiful jewelry box, also engraved, to put the necklace into. But then, just because, I also purchased her a water globe, which played Canon in D which is our wedding march, and I had that engraved as well. At check out, they informed me about the rewards card or something like that, which I could spend $10 to enroll myself in, but then would be given a $20 coupon for every $100 that I spent, and this $120 purchase would go towards it. So basically, I could spend $10 and immediately get $20 to use in a few days to purchase a Mother's Day gift for my mom. Also, I would receive another 10 dollar off coupon on my birthday, which happened to only be four days away. I enrolled. A few days later when I went back to make the Mother's Day purchase for my mom, I told them that I had never received the coupon on my birthday, and inquired about the $20 I had coming to me for the hundred dollar purchase I had made a couple days before. I was informed that the $20 wouldn't be available until the 12th, and they called to see why I hadn't gotten my coupon for the birthday. The employee who made the phone call was informed that I would not be receiving one for my birthday this year, as I had enrolled too close to my birthday, so she felt bad and gave me a $15 coupon to use right then and there to make up for it. Plus, I was still going to be getting the $20 coupon in a few days, which I'm just going to use for my dad's Father's Day gift. So basically, because I bought my wife over $100 worth of stuff, and opted to spend $10 to enroll in this rewards program, I was able to get $15 off of my mom's Mother's Day gift, and will be getting $20 off of my dad's Father's Day gift in a couple weeks. My wife ended up getting her gifts early, as I couldn't wait until Mother's Day, and she loved them. My mother got her gift on Mother's Day, and cried because she loved it so much. Can only expect that my dad is going to enjoy his gift, whatever I end up getting him, as well.
