Stopped in because needed a repair on a gold necklace, the ladies were very polite and efficient. The repairs done so far seem great for a good price as well. Glad to have our local goldsmith so close. read more

I can't say enough good things about the staff and the customer service. Absolutely amazing! I have purchased 3 rings and they always take care of them and their product. Fixed my beloved amethyst leaver back earrings, and my mom's beat up broken class ring to a shinny new cool piece of jewelry

I've been coming to Downtown Goldsmith for several years: watch repair, jewelry repair, gem appraisal, gifts. They even carry business card cases. They've always had an answer to my questions, given me good advise on jewelry wear and care, and when my need was outside their purview, they usually had a suggestion of where I could go. Do yourself a favor and make Downtown Goldsmith one of your first shopping choices. read more

long story short my wife and I separated for about 6 months and a month before we got back together, she sold her engagement ring to downtown goldsmith. she told me that she had done so, and I asked her witch store. she told me and my search was on. I called the store; they were very helpful. after a couple of days, they called me and said they found it still in inventory. I went to the store the next day and pick it up they cleaned it and boxed it and sold it back to me for a lot less than what they could have got for it to anyone else. I surprised my wife that night and she started crying and couldn't believe it. I would highly recommend their store to anyone looking for jewelry. thank you so much Phillip H, DeLand Florida read more

The staff is incredibly friendly and trustworthy. After researching for jewelers and asking my local moms group for recommendations I found Downtown Goldsmith. They were able to fix the clasp on my husbands necklace during my visit. I look forward to coming back and getting more of my jewelry fixed and cleaned. Possibly pick up a new piece. I'm truly happy with the service provided. read more

Had to have a few links removed from a bracelet, stopped in, no wait and free parking. $10 which I thought was a little expensive but the girl was personable. The place had an old feel to it, which is cool, they had a large selection but as I said I was just there for a repair read more

I have had a few fantastic experiences with Downtown DeLand Goldsmiths. I had 2 Buck knives engraved , ON THE BLADE , as wedding gifts !! The bride and groom were brought to tears. That's the kind of service you can expect. When I needed a wedding band I knew who to see. Sure enough , they walked us through several ideas , we had a plan for the stone and a beautiful one was produced in a setting that is just magnificent. The price was great , everyone wins on this. This is an owner and his very knowledgeable Wife. They are great people who talk to you , learn what your wants are and make it happen. It's great to be able to have that relationship. They are , DeLand place for goldsmithing , jewels, engraving so good it's trusted do engrave the trophy for the Daytona 500 3 years running I believe. I brought mine and a friends AG Russell Sunfish knives in for engraving. Now , you can't buy those , anywhere, there are none on the secondary market. That is trust. So if you are in need or just want to treat someone or yourself to something very nice and in your price range walk in and say Hi , you'll be glad you did , Keith. Happy DeLand resident. read more

This is a place you can trust with your family jewels! We had a diamond that we needed a new setting for and I couldn't be happier with the whole process working with them. They expertly helped me choose a setting and accent diamonds. During one conversation (of many), she said, "I was thinking about your ring last night, what if we..." Which just illustrates how much attention and thought that was put into it, that she was thinking about it after hours. They just wanted me to be happy with the finished product. Which I am! It is GORGEOUS! Best of all, we could trust who was handling the diamond that we already had. We knew they were local and not part of some big corporation that sends people's diamonds out to be worked on. Also, as an FYI, they do small things like fix watch bands and replace batteries. read more

Fabulous, friendly and reasonable. This is my go to jewelry store. Watch batteries, ring sizing or to make a purchase. You cannot go wrong with this honest jeweler! read more

Great experience with folks here. They customized our wedding ring and came through with everything we asked for and then some. We live in Gainesville and originally planned on using local jewelry store here but they had no interest in what we wanted and zero customer service. Well worth the 2 hour drive. read more

Great customer service and great results. They make me feel like they have all the time in the world for me and will spend as much time as needed until I'm sure I know what I want done. Thank you downtown Goldsmith Jewelry and Engraving. I'll be back!! read more

My mom and I both needed our rings brought down a size (mine is white gold, hers gold). They both turned out great, no sign of the modification. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I also bought my husband's wedding ring there and he was very helpful, we had to exchange it for a different size and he gave us no trouble at all. read more
