Tina initially spoke on the phone with me for a long period of time to understand our history, our needs, and our hopes for the future. Tina worked with us over a few sessions in multiple location (in our home, in our backyard, for walks around the neighborhood & at our dog's doggy daycare set) to address our concerns. Tina was very supportive, informative and thoughtful. She was AMAZING with our nervous Aussie and was not afraid to point out things we were doing as owners that were unintentionally reinforce the problem. Tina was willing to work with us in each session for as long as our dog had energy and attention for (and us too). We saw an immediate improvement in our initial areas of concern and still see the rewards of our work. The sense of support has continued beyond our training sessions. Tina is often checking in with us to see how our Aussie is doing. We could not have ask for a better experience. We certainly would recommend PAWsture Perfect K9 to anyone and have already given friends her contact information.

After a very lengthy phone…read moreconversation with Sheryl (the owner), she invited me to come observe a class to see if it was the right fit for our puppy. Previously, we attended a training class with our puppy elsewhere and I went in for the observation with a preconceived notion that this facility would be the same. I was absolutely blown away!! I immediately signed our puppy up at The Wayward Hound even though we were still enrolled at the other facility. Our class consists of no more than 5 puppies at a time and the training is all hands on training with your puppy. Sheryl and Ronaele are so warm and kind. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is doing the training correctly and they both give fantastic advice. There are always a few laughs during class which is so nice! It makes the training feel less like work and you know everyone surrounding you is experiencing the same things with their puppies. We definitely plan on continuing our training here. People have commented on how well behaved our puppy is and we owe that to Sheryl and Ronaele at The Wayward Hound!

Her training methodology works well--we didn't clicker train, which works for us (I'd never find the thing) and we loved positive reinforcement. Our puppy responded well and we had a nice time. We moved onto Agility and LOVED it. I'd swear our puppy smiled after learning the course! We plan to go back for another class and hope to achieve our Canine Good Citizen. The added benefit was the support Sheryl offered us throughout--she promptly responded to any email questions and all of her recommendations have worked!!!!

We have an alarm system that gives us a time stamp of when she comes and goes, and she always arrives within her window and stays for the set time we paid for. She does things like wipe muddy dog paws, which is something our last walker at a different company didn't do. -Dog walking prices are cheaper than all competitors in the area -We had a slight snafu with the dog walker at first, and Leashrly staff stepped up and made it right -Amazing, super user-friendly online payment and scheduling system. We will be using Leashrly for overnight pet setting soon. So far, Leashrly set up a meet and greet with the pet sitter at their home so we could see the environment and feel comfortable. Our last dog walking/pet sitting company didn't do this.

Vacations are always communicated in advance and you are offered the opportunity to meet anyone new who is coming into your home beforehand if time allows, or at least warned that someone new is coming if it's unexpected. Be aware that walkers sometimes bring their children along with them. For me, this is a bonus, I'm happy with the additional interaction, but it still surprised me the first time. We have had a couple of issues here and there but the client coordinator, Ann Marie, has always been very responsive, both during the week and on weekends when needed. One thing I wish I'd known earlier is that you can update a notes section on the website with information about your pup, which is where any substitute dog walkers will look for pertinent information. Our main walker, Jessica, pointed this out to me and helped me determine what would be useful to put here.

Since the corporate entity took over, they have not been able to receive phone calls or change their voice mail... for 6 months!! My cat gets prescriptions that keep him alive, so about a week before we run out, I try calling, shocked to still hear a message saying they'll be out of office in October. After emails, texts, calls, and Facebook messages, I finally get through with about a day to spare, and they barely get my prescription in on time before a weekend, the new years holiday, etc. After the third time going through this, I started seeking other vets, but needed one last script before the new vet would take over. I finally got through and spoke with the vet who agreed to the final prescription, but said I needed to get the cat an annual physical (typical corporate attitude/ get the client to pay as much as possible before doing the necessary service). When I arrived to pick up the pills, there was no communication or intentional miscommunication between the desk and the vet, so they tried to rope me into an immediate appointment, which I turned down, and they asked why. Reluctantly, I told them that I'm switching vets and was just here to pickup. The situation escalated, tho, and the desk said I'd need to speak with the office manager, who was confrontational. Among other things, the manager said they couldn't update the phone system because it hadn't been approved by the corporate headquarters. I was so disappointed in this vet's services. Firstly, they should have sent an email to clients stating that the office had been purchased, there were staff changes, and the phones were broken, but there was nothing of the sort. Who wants to deal with new personnel you've never even heard of or been introduced to? Very unprofessional. On top of which, the staff was rude, the manager was confrontational, they repeatedly tried to price gouge me on appointments and pills, I couldn't get them on the phone for 6 months, communication is nil, and so on. Generally I'd say that the corporate atmosphere is incompatible with doing a good job here.
