We hiked nearby amongst roving goat herds, and had relaxing massages at the spa. Felt like rockstars in the penthouse suite with the hot pot, sauna and shower. The reviews on cleanliness and rude staff had me on edge, but my experience was the opposite. Our room was exceptionally clean, and I adored the quirky decor. The staff knew our names when we walked in (off-season and pushing 10pm) and went right into playful banter. The beer from the vending machine was cold & the glasses were clean. We arrived too late to enjoy some of the other amenities. Breakfast was good, and the servers were friendly. I've already bookmarked this one for a repeat visit.

I love this place for a few reasons…read more 1st - the room we were in was beautiful. I asked for a room with a view and that's what they gave us. The room was modern and really well thought out. 2nd - the food was really good...especially the deserts. Breakfast was good but dinner was on another level. 3rd - the staff were so helpful and professional. The place is well staffed. And they took care of everything (even cleaning off a spiderweb on the outside corner of the back exit door - nice touch). 4th - parking was easy and practical...right next to the hotel and you can walk your stuff right in. 5th - they always seemed to be cleaning. 6th - the location is central and it makes it easy to get to all the cool places. Highly recommended Ohhhh - yes...they have their own herb garden which the bar tender proudly showed me.

They had a wonderful staff that makes you feel welcome and are super helpful. The rooms are nice and cozy BUT do not have air conditioning -but they did have a fan stored in the closet which we definitely used. We were there in July so we kept the windows slightly ajar to get some air flow. They were able to sell us passes for the gondola ride to/back to the top of Zugspite mountain - that was very convenient. Nice restaurant/bar... which we enjoyed sitting outside drinking wine at the end of the day. It was very nice. Would I go back? Sure

Room was spacious. There's a great spa area with pool, jacuzzi, dry sauna and steam room. Nice lounge chairs to relax. Hotel offers a restaurant. Restaurant is top notch. We ate dinner there. There was a duo of a lady and a man dressed in the local folk attire, playing and singing songs. Staff accommodating. Hotel has a garage. Hotel is 5 minutes from the train station. Receptionist assisted us in purchasing the Zugspitze cable car/cogwheel tickets. All around very positive experience with this property.
