I'm a perfectionist and follow the simple code "If you can't say something nice..." but after several months of repeated and wonderfully successful experiences, my conscience requires that I let others know about the much more than exceptional service I've enjoyed with Jared Theurer DDS and the rest of his team, particularly the Dental Hygienist LeeAnn Burton. I lived with several dental issues, including over a year of very annoying to miserably sharp pain. I had within a single month, seen four dentists attempting to resolve the pain issue alone; all to absolutely no avail. Out of exhausting frustration I finally decided to chalk it all up to the aging process, figuring I'd probably have to live with it till my last breath, which hopefully is a long time away. My wife had always raved about her dentist and was rather bewildered as to why I refused to go see him. But as I stated, I had already seen four dentists, expensive ones, 'how could seeing this dentist possibly be any different?' Yet, after months, when it came time for a routine cleaning and exam, I simply went to my wife's dentist. They were comprehensive. We started talking, really communicating. They listened and asked questions and within that single visit alone, the cause of the pain was not only discovered, but RESOLVED!!! Somehow, what four expensive Park City dentists could not see was recognized and my pain was history! This was more than 6 months ago and not a single pain since! No root canal, just an insightful adjustment to repair what had not been correctly done by one of the pricier dentist in Park City. Then they continued, exploring some of my other concerns and their earnest desire to really look into my overall well-being and oral care led to great success, resolution and my personal health. I truly appreciate these people, the humility and the genuine care they give their patients. The quality of their work inspires me and that's why I've taken the time to write this review. Because of my high anxiety and fear of having dental work done, Dr. Hill suggested that we do the work with oral sedation. It was the best experience I've ever had with dental work. The sedation worked so well that I didn't have any fear or anxiety before the appointment, and I breezed through the dental work without any pain. I also didn't experience any pain whatsoever after the work was done. I can't recommend oral sedation enough. His staff was wonderful and treated me so expertly and with kindness. There is a dental office next door. Check them out before coming here. I made the greatest mistake of having them do some extensive work. Both times it was a disaster. Now, I'm in the process of paying more money to get it fixed. If you have options, I encourage you to look into those options before stepping foot into this establishment. UPDATE: please read their response. I had given this establishment the opportunity to correct their error with an extensive procedure of fixing my front tooth bite. During the procedure he shaved my tooth to fit the bite. However, I now have a gap in my bite and air pockets. I had contacted them a week after the procedure in July 2025. It took a month to get a reply. I then took it upon myself to check with another provider on what I see and his thoughts. The provider stated the work completed was far less than par. In order to fix this, it will cost me $8K out of pocket because Genesis has exhausted my dental benefits and will not reimburse me or fix this issue. This is the second time I had this exact issue with them. I trusted them to not make the same mistakes. I used loyalty and blinded my instincts. I should have listened to my intuition considering Dr.Foltz's has never made me feel comfortable or accepted during my annual checkups. I assumed it was me. However, with the statements below, my instincts were correct. Dr. Foltz doesn't genuinely care about his patients. If he did, he would have at least made an effort. Instead he excused my genuine concerns and told me to never come back. Please note that that my daughters and I have been a patients of Genesis dental for many years. If Dr.Foltz felt that he was inexperienced or uncomfortable with these types of procedures, then the proper steps would be for him to refer to another dentist. I double down on this location, do not come here. They will treat you just the same. Their dental technicians are fresh out of dental school and there are going to be mistakes that they are unwilling to correct. Also, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING until after you see the work. Genesis dental advised me to sign a form stating I was satisfied with the work in an email PRIOR to my appointment and another form while waiting in the office. I got the filling scheduled and got it done just to be surprised with his own inflated fees rather than my insurance fees which he refused to accept. The reason? It was a filling that wasn't due for replacement yet. Amy, the awful billing lady yelled and argued with me over the phone that it's not their job to check if the tooth had been worked on in the past by another office. These people are lazy as sh*t and will NOT check any sort of tooth history just to trap you into paying their blown up fees. Watchout, this is a strategy of theirs! All other offices I've been to will not hesitate to call your insurance to gather pertinent information about the tooth that needs work. The filling, by the way, was no good. As you can see from the other reviewers, Dan Mirci absolutely sucks at performing fillings. Save yourself the headache and avoid this office and the awful billing lady! The rest of the ladies there were nice but Amy the biller is a total b*tch. I needed to see a dentist right away, and Merci Dental absolutely came through for me. They were able to get me in the same day. I let them know I was flexible and would take whatever opening they had, and I was so grateful they squeezed me in. The dentist quickly evaluated me and said I needed a root canal. Because of the complexity, they felt it would be best for me to see an endodontist. What impressed me was how the Merci Dental team handled it -- they didn't just send me away with a referral. The dentist had the front desk call three highly recommended endodontists immediately to see who could take me. Within minutes, they had me set up with an appointment, and I was able to drive straight over and be seen that same day. The next day, I came back to Merci Dental to be fitted for a crown, and two weeks later I now have my permanent crown in place. Everything feels great and the quality of work has been excellent. The entire staff was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about my well-being. Since everything was happening quickly, they made sure to explain each step clearly and confirm that I understood what was being done. The front desk deserves special thanks -- they moved fast, coordinated seamlessly, and kept billing accurate in real time even as the treatment plan changed. That kind of attention to detail made a stressful experience so much easier. I spend a lot of time in Salt Lake City, and Merci Dental is now my go-to dentist. From emergency care to ongoing dental work, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

The face feels more like an elaborate laboratory where we are all the guinea pigs. They're not real dentists or orthodontists. These are people that will clean your teeth or fill a cavity and put fake braces on your teeth. However, if you have any real issues with your teeth you need to go someplace else and they are happy to make you referrals. They use a brand similar to Invisalign called sure smile. The price that was quoted to me was $3,900 but I believe you can get it done much cheaper at other places.

For starters, it was during the electionand he went off on conspiracy theories and voter fraud when I couldn't respond nor had I even started a political conversation. It was kind of weird and socially inappropriate. On one occasion when I came for my appointment, he was taking a little snooze behind the front desk person. I found that very unprofessional. Why not go into a private office for a rest instead of making us feel worried that you are sleeping on the job in between patients? But I ignored all that because the Groupon was a good deal and I thought I was getting good care. A few years later and I have had multiple dentists x ray and tell me how badly done my implant and my crown are. The crown had an overhang that was causing gum recession. The implant is not in straight, not well seated, and smells like decay by the end of almost every day. I have to floss super well every night or it gets worse. The crown recently came off and there is decay underneath so I'm glad that it came off and I'm having a vetted and trusted, albeit more expensive, dentist redo the crown and do it right this time.
