This location is by my house is hard not to try our local businesses it's so convenient. I have been here twice in my life the first time I had the worst experience with the manager a older guy argued the whole time for no reason said my check couldn't be cashed because he didn't recognized the company asked me a bunch of questions wanted to keep a copy of my information for what? I promised I wouldn't come here again, a year later I tried to give them a chance what was I thinking everyone here is always so difficult maybe cause they're unhappy no music no ac lol. I can see I'm not the first bad review here , they tried to ask my mom for her social security number to buy a money order only bc I was In line in front of her and bought one as well. Hit her with some bs of "oh it's bc the system already saw you get here together so we need your social security #" yet they didn't ask me for mine when I purchased my own. They didn't even bother to understand we ea. live in different households therefor the need for SEPERATE transactions...y eso fue nomas por sus huevos that they chose to act this way. I've used this location a few times when I'm in the area and they are always quick to serve you and the lairs at the counter always friendly. They're rates are really good compared to other check cashing locations and I like that I get my money right away as opposed to having to wait like at most banks. By far a more favorable option to get your checks cashed quickly over the bank and there is plenty of parking so your usually in and out pretty quickly. read more

I have been frequenting this place about 7 years now, and I personally prefer them over a bank!!! I currently get money orders, check cashing, and car insurance, all of which I am satisfied with. The staff have always been friendly, and the owner, Freddy is a wonderful guy! We are truly treated like regulars and always have a good experience with everyone behind the counter. You can get money orders, pay most your bills (utility, phone) and they are open 7 days a week, which is the BEST PART. They also provide car insurance services through a smaller company who provides Infinity Auto. They have just added car registration renewal services as well. Tax time, they have tax preparation services, LOL. I know, they offer a lot. But they do it all very well if you ask me. All their fees are clear and stated, and if anything is unclear just ask for clarity. They have always been up front with me. BTW, money order prices haven't changed since I have been going there. I suggest going there if you have thought about it, or even need a one time service for whatever reason. Of course they provide money wiring services, (which a lot of customers utilize), faxing, metro passes, even those things called Stamps! Parking right out front can be tight because of the newer barber shop that is a local hit, but if you park a couple paces down there'll be plenty, plus there'll be some shade which is GOLD in SoCal these days:) read more

went to go cash a money order and i was told i needed the part that belongs to the customer after the customer detaches and keep for there records i have purchased money orders before and kept the part iam supposed to have sent the money order off and i do believe other reviews that race plays a part iam black by the way the look like i stole the money order i had my id but money was not cashed because i did not have the part that belongs to the purchaser for there records. i went there because i did not feel like going to my credit union in gardena ca but ended up going there anyway. thats what happens when you go into low life ass companies. maybe if i wasnt black i would have got it cashed! read more

Horrible service!!!! And they discriminate against Blacks. I have cashed my check a few times here with no problem. Today's visit, My husband and I went to cash our checks. When I cashed my check, I signed it, provided ID and there were NO questions asked, she counted my money and handed it to me. My husband had a hand written check from his employer. When he went to the same window to cash his check, Itzel immediately handed it over to her manager. Then the manager was asking him, has he ever cashed here before? When was the last time you cashed a check here? Then told him "oh we don't cash hand written checks here" and handed the check back very rudely. Instead of confronting the issue at the place, I decided to call and speak to the manager and express how I felt about the service but the other rep received my call, was very rude and kept misunderstanding my concerns and was confrontational. We had NO problem with their policy's and procedures. But the way they handled it was very unprofessional and rude. The manger never came to the phone. If they didn't take hand written checks, then why not just state that from the beginning? Why did the manager immediately have to get called over? The rep couldn't simply state "we don't cash hand written checks" when she saw the check? Please do not come here!!! read more
