Firstly, the restaurant is open, airy, clean, and casual with an elevated dining experience serving the most amazing food. There's a beautiful ocean view from the restaurant that sets up the relaxing atmosphere, sunset included. Secondly, the service was incredible. Abby was poised, polite, kind, and just wonderful all around. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Thirdly, Chefs Chris and Tarah treated us to many delicious plates. The caviar starter was unique and remarkable. The ahi crudo and ceviche were fresh and vibrate, as well as the green salad and fried green tomatoes with burrata. I had the best smash burger of my life. My father-in-law agreed and loved his. My husband said he loved his chicken entree, cooked perfectly, flavorful. His new favorite chicken dish anywhere. Mother-in-law raved about her fish, soft and perfectly cooked. This is a can't miss place. The place is inviting and warm. Chris and Tarah were a joy to be around. Do yourself a favor and dine here.

I thought it would be ok, like ramen, ....Runny was right, the white of the egg was more translucent than opaque. Specify more cooked egg if this raw thing is not for you. Service was with a smile, but we were half finished with our breakfast before the Bloody Marys showed up. Patio is nice and airy with some view across the blue course and toward Molokini. In the treetops. So why a rate of 3? It's the details- the server commented on delayed drinks very dismissively, and their outdoor speaker was on too loud to the point it reverberated with some static, definitely blown out. I asked to please turn it down or off as it was not adding to the experience. Got a very strange look and maybe it was turned down a fraction about 10 minutes later. Traffic noise was significant but we were sitting outside next to the road. Expected. But to compete with the music and traffic was not our cup of tea. This breakfast as described was $95. The staff was friendly, service moved quickly despite how busy it was, and the atmosphere felt very local and welcoming. There are a lot of breakfast spots on Maui, but I can see why this place is always recommended. If you're visiting, it's definitely worth stopping by at least once. The self serve items: parfait, cereal, charcuterie, fresh fruits, croissants, waffles, granola, juice and coffee is nicely set up. Items from the Kitchen, which you order from staff : avocado toast, classic oatmeal, open face toast, belgium waffle, gourmet egg tarts, croissant sandwich, & loco moco. The made to order items from the kitchen are super good and tasty, my favorites are the croissant sandwich, avocado toast and open face toast. We've eaten here a few times and I got to try everything, so I think I have a good take on the place. My initial quest was to try every buffet in Maui island, specifically to find a made-to-order buffet here in Maui (post-transplant patients have to stay away from buffets due to cross contamination, germs, etc). I've eaten here pre and post op and it's good, decent! It's not comprehensive, as it's a small, tiny buffet, but for what it offers, I like it. From a year or two ago, it was $22, then late last year it jumped to $25, and when we went today (6/2023) it is now $30. Still cheap considering you can easily spend that, for 2 people (especially at a hotel buffet). You check in with the person at the podium adjacent to the buffet nook to pay first and put in your initial order. The menu of the made-to-order items are on an upright menu and consist of: loco moco, avocado toast, egg tarts (leek, spinach and cheese, and Swiss), egg scramble on toast, oatmeal, Belgian waffles, etc). You can also order lattes and cappuccinos here, but they're trash because they come from one of those kureig things. Very watery. In the actual DIY area of the buffet they have: charcuterie board, hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, muffins, croissants, fresh cut fruit like blueberries, melons and strawberries, cereals like cheerios and granola, cartons of milk, carafes of juice like OJ, apple, pineapple, water and iced coffee. A breakfast yogurt with chia seeds, and oatmeal toppings like brown sugar, dried cranberries, etc. All your condiments like ketchup, Tobasco, sugar, and utensils are in the buffet area as well. I deducted a star because seating is weird and kind of sparse, and the coffee is bad. Again, their selection is smaller than conventional buffets, especially for hotels, but I've always left content and happy. If you like having many options to try for a meal that buffets offer but in a made-to-order format, come here. Along with the always friendly hostess/server, I'll come back.

I love that there are more than a few locations so you never have to go without. I do feel like this is the biggest/most popular one. Some specialty coffees can be too sweet, but I find all the drinks I've ordered to have a good balance. Plus, staff is so friendly and they really do want you to enjoy your experience so they'll work with you to find the perfect drink. The açaí bowls are so fresh and vibrant. Not only they aesthetically pleasing, it makes the perfect light breakfast/snack. They've recently added fresh lychee to their bowls and it is a game changer. The fruits are always fresh and sweet and the açaí is just the perfect touch of sweetness Taro bagel is fun and good to try, at least once. Upgrade it to a salmon lox bagel sandwich. the waygu loco moco is also a must. It's super flavorful and pairs with the rice and egg perfectly. A lot of people don't even know there's shaved ice here. Don't skip it! Again, not too sweet but the flavor is on point. The topping options are limitless and all delicious! I especially love popping boba and the mochi bits. Super sweet drinks if you are into that, made with care, but like I said not for Coffee Drinkers experts.

Great atmosphere with a waterfall right out front and the tiki torches were on. SHOUT OUT TO SIDNEY!! Absolutely amazing service from the get-go. It tastes exactly what it sounds like. They used to give the mustard spread, but now they charge for it. Either way, we are still coming back because of how fluffy and flakey the croissant is. You have to try it. We've tried a few other pastries and they were decent.

In comparison to some other brands such as Aman, Four Seasons Maui felt below average given its price point. The resort itself felt small and a bit old. The service felt very below average and inconsistent. One employee would tell you the sun umbrellas at the pools near the bushes are not adjustable while literally 2 mins later another employee came and adjusted the sun umbrella next to me and also mine when I asked. When we went to the adult pool we were told by one employee that we needed to be on a waitlist. After 3 hours when we finally got notified that it was our turn and went back we noticed other guests just literally went and grabbed empty benches and staffs were just setting the benches up for them(no, they didn't even know there was a waitlist)... Our canoe experience at the last day of our stay got canceled due to high wind and the concierge never notified us etc. Many employees gave me the vibe that they don't really care. They just gave me fake smiles and robotic responses. Maybe Amond would take better care of us...if he is still alive... The view was very amazing. We even spotted whales many times.

There's also a lot of parking as it is in a big plaza. Listen, I will come back again and again no questions so just give the whole menu a try. PRO TIP: Remember to practice Aloha. We are on island time so things move slower than the mainland is used to. Be kind to your servers and dont forget to tip when paying before seating!
