What a huge disappointment. Soda City Pools destroyed our NEW heater due to over treating with…read morechemicals. Hayward wouldn't honor the warranty because the heater failed due to excessive chemicals . We paid another company to diagnose heater and problem was confirmed. Hosea has a very charismatic personality but has done nothing but blatantly lie to us numerous times over the past 4 months . He told us he convinced Hayward to send a new heater . Hosea told us more than once he was on the way to our house with the heater . He sent pictures of his gps and arrival time . He sent pictures that he would be late due to his truck's tire issue. Continuously making excuses while saying he has the heater . Hayward sales rep since confirmed he has NOT sent a heater! Now Hosea is ignoring my calls. We also reached out to co owner, Viren Patel, who quickly responded he would get in touch with Hosea and find out about the heater . Unfortunately, the only response I heard was Hosea will contact you . We allowed Hosea to service our pool for years . We supported and encouraged him when he first started his business . We allowed him to use our pool for his commercial. We are out thousands of dollars and extremely disappointed that this has not been resolved .

Update Jan 2026: Still not responding to me but owner…read more(Hosea) did break into my pool area (jumped fence). He cut pipes to my pool plumbing and left to get parts then never returned. He agreed to pay another company to fix the damage his company caused then write them a bad check. Left me with cut pipes, swamp like pool, and 30k cost to repair! The address of his "business " was a vape shop (now vacated with a bakery next door ) , he had no proper business license and ignores all attempts to rectify situation informally. Don't get taken in; do your research and go elsewhere for pool service.

As a business owner, I am often asked, "Who is your competition?" In my opinion, if asked this about Crystal Pools, there is no real competition in our market. Their pool designs are First Class, their pool construction projects are stellar, and their concern in providing services to their customers is always attempting to exceeding expectations. In the world of on-line reputations and reviews I feel it is extremely important to provide clear, honest, factual reviews based on your experiences. They may not be the cheapest, and are definitely none of us are perfect, but, the care and concern for their customers has amazed me in the 20+ years I have been associated with Crystal Pools and their family.

Technicians were sent to reassess the issues and they were able resolve all issues. I am very pleased with the level of communication from management and the quality of work performed. They require you to have a credit card on file, despite the fact that you pre-pay for services a month in advance. I frequently had trouble getting anyone on the phone during business hours as the phone would roll straight to voicemail. I give two stars because I will say that while they were maintaining my pool, it was crystal clear and I was pleased with that piece. However due to just what I feel is a general lack of professionalism and a lot of disorganization we will not be using them in the future.

There have been times in which the pool was not as cleaned as before. Over the course of 7 months, three times, I had to ask if the pool was cleaned and then I would receive a photo. Today, just received a photo of my unclean pool. Note - if it is raining outside; just tell me that you can't clean it. That is understandable. You don't get mad when a paying customer (185.00 a month) asks you when can you come back out to clean it. A paying customer should not have to wait over two weeks for a WEEKLY service. This has happened before. Moving on to a better service.

I asked Judy on many occasions why I would have calcium leaching the plaster, she offered no explanation, even though I asked her if calcium level was ok. She never emptied pump basket which ended up breaking due to excessive pressure from not being emptied. Shortly after I ended my service plan with Judy, I took water sample in only to find out calcium was extremely low, explaining the leaching. On her last service before I terminated my service with her, I had a couple tiles that needed to be replaced, Judy replaced them and less then a month later they fell off again.
