My daughter, Alexis has been able to solve challenging problems in advance placement math for H.S. We couldn't be happier with the results our daughter has archive thus far. Thank you Calvin and thank you Eric for your drive, passion and determination to make children succeed and excel. The teaching is very individualized and Calvin makes sure every student understands the concepts they are struggling with before he moves on. Thanks to Calvin my understanding of advanced physics and math concepts became very clear because he helped me master the basics of the subject first. What stood out was Lamont's writing and essay help. He guided me throughout college applications and applying to programs in college. Due to his assistance, my writing and speaking skills have improved greatly. I got into a top 15 college and landed prestigious summer research internships thanks to Lamont. Lamont helped me with expressing my personal goals in a clear manner, and especially focused on polishing my ideas into a personal statement that really showed who I was outside of my application. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for both writing development and development as a person outside of college applications to work with Lamont, because his ability to help a student self-develop is incredible. 10/10 Definitely go to Lamont and Premier Academy for essay help, you won't regret it!

I would not have done as comprehensive a job had I prepared him myself. Kweller provided the structure necessary to get the work done. The weekend check-in created a the deadline. We found the nightly homework more useful than the Zoom, but that could be individual preference. The homework helped highlight what areas my son needed work on. Also, it was helpful to have him practice sitting for a long test. It's not magic. It's practice, practice, practice. Don't expect a child to manage this by themselves. There was quite a bit of parental involvement until we were accustomed to the pacing and log-in. I'm happy we chose to use Kweller and I would use them again.

I am giving one star because back years ago, one tutor worked hard with my kid with special needs. After that their GT tutoring of my otherwise highly advanced student failed. I ended up preparing him myself. And he is in a gifted program but only because of me. The teacher misinformed me that my child had covered all Material - turned out at home, he didn't. Not sure why the teacher decided to spin reality - I think he didn't care. Next, when we tried their afterschool program- another disappointment. Their staff didn't know how to work with kids. They insisted that I take him out because he wasn't able to do homework on his own. Irene called me every day, harassing me at work and creating urgency where it didn't exist. Again- failure to work with kids in this business is failure at everything. I thought people should know that this space cherry-picks the kids they want that are "iklass compliant" and that they push other kids out through harassing calls. Good things have changed over the years and they have learnt to be inclusive of all learners. No kid learns the same way. And they should absolutely know that in this business.
