Do not order from these people. I placed an order for delivery. Keep in mind I paid 8 dollars for delivery and gave an 8 dollar tip and the driver refused to bring it to me even after I tried to explain that I had my leg amputated and I have to use a walker and no way I could carry that up. The driver left it in the lobby for anyone to take including underage kids.i have to get a backpack and take several trips. I don't call that delivered so I shouldn't have to pay delivery or the tip. I'm not really a liquor connoisseur at all so the only time I go to a liquor store is to buy something to cook with so my experience here is quite limited. However every time I've been I've never had any trouble finding plenty of options to choose from all at decent prices. Their selection of everything seems quite extensive despite this store's small size. The reason this review is only 3 stars despite this is because the most recent time I went, despite Baltimore City's indoor mask mandate and a sign on the door saying "No Mask No Entry" not a single person in here (customers or staff) besides myself was wearing a mask. With a place that is quite small and likely not well-ventilated that's a pretty big turn-off for me during Covid. read more

This place is a scam. I placed an order with them through Drizly. I called 5 times in 5 hours to inquire about the status of the order. They repeatedly told me the order had been delivered. It had not. I asked them to send me the signature of the person who accepted delivery and they refused. Do not do business with them. I'm going to be a parrot and say the same thing everyone else has - it's GREAT that Aloha is open late and on Sundays, but parking is a beast and they are def overpriced. However, I don't often mind bc the staff is nice and the people inside are friendly as well. If there is a game on or something significant on the news, you can always find a few people in there having a beer and discussing whatever's being watched. If you come in on the RIGHT days, you can learn a lot about local news, activism and city planning; a lot of the neighborhood people are either students or long-time Balimoreans who have a lot of time and pride in the city. If you have time, or you're bored, it's a good place to strike up a convo with intelligent people. Or just to meet strangers and watch a game. The inventory is pretty good. They keep the basics and rotate seasonal favs. For a while, this was the only place in the city that I could find Shellback rum - a discontinued rum that ws delish! (Now I can only find it in Owings Mills otw to by BF's mom's house #SadLauron). I stopped by here last night after leaving the not-so-nearby Mick's on the way home. Ususally, I have a couple of favorite liquor stores I stop at on the way home in Hunt Valley. However, once in a while I like to try out something different, so I did. To add to what Dan said, this is a place that is deceiving on the outside and even sketchy looking inside. However, the beer selection cancels all of that out. I was also very surprised to see that they a vast selection of Asian beers, especially Orion (Okinawa) and OB (Korea). In fact, I have not seen such a concentrated selection from Asia and the Orient like this anywhere in the area. I lived on these beers while I was stationed in both places and couldn't find them for the life of me back here on the East Coast. Naturally, I grabbed a couple of bottles of each for old times sake. Speaking of Sake, I had a very bad experience with it one night in Japan and I will leave it at that, lol. I will definitely stop here again. read more

Aloha gets points because they are open on Sunday! They are also open until 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays. They have a pretty decent selection of beer and wine and we like that they sell single bottles of craft beer when we are feeling less indulgent. Yes there's bulletproof glass and always a handful of people inside fisting forties and watching some sports game, but we aren't going to a liquor for it's ambiance right? As a side note, the owner of this store does not take sass from anyone and that's something I really like about Aloha. One time, we were in line and the guy in front of us was so drunk that he just walked out with a soda without paying. The owner then demanded that his friend pay the soda and then an argument ensued where the friend insisted that no way would he steal and then he used a bunch of racial epithets, which I'm going to leave out, and the owner of Aloha kept saying Um no- please just pay for the soda. It's the principle even it's just a dollar! Anyways, I think that Aloha probably gets a really questionable crowd especially late at night so it makes me feel better that the owner is willing to stick up for his business. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Worked in the area loved the selection , and prices but the cashier on duty in a Ravens jersey has a nasty attitude and extremely rude! He bagged 3 full bottles of wine in one flimsy plastic bag and before returning to my destination the bag bust and two of the three bottles broke ! Went back and asked for a solution from the cashier and he told me it was my fault as a customer that I didn't ask him to double bag the bag or bag the bottles up properly !
