Things happen and I get it but when I brought in an expensive jacket to clean and it came back with a broken zipper and no word, it shakes up my confidence in them. The zipper handle was literally torn off the jacket and it's a pretty heavy duty zipper. Instead there was a safety pin when I picked up and when I asked about it, the gentleman made a few phone calls and said it might have gotten caught in their machine. If something happens, the customer should be notified upon finding out not upon pickup when a part of their jacket is missing. I took the jacket in to get the zipper replaced which cost me more than the drycleaning bill and so when I called back to ask for a refund of the drycleaning bill they willingly did so without much fuss which I appreciated. If you have nicer items, I probably wouldn't trust them to dryclean them here. read more

It's unfortunate when businesses post hours online and then don't adhere to them. I just moved to this neighborhood and was headed to drop off a bunch of shirts and panda pants for cleaning. Google and every other site says they open at 7:00 a.m... it's 7:30. Now I'll just look for a place closer to my work that adheres to their business hours. Bummer. read more

In my first time using this service, the sweater was broken with several holes on it. The owner insisted it was not their problem at all and said there should be some defeat before the cleaning. However this was a brand new sweater which I have just bought so I really don't believe it was the case. I then raised the ask to go for an inspection through some 3rd-party and the owner said I would need to pay for the cost of it's not their fault. Later on my friend looked up online and knew that the 3rd-party inspection would barely result in the dry cleaners' fault based on the track record. We ended up leaving the store with a lot of anger. Brought a winter puffer in for cleaning. There were a few small marks on the jacket and the cuffs were a tad dirty. Generally, I take good care of this jacket so I know where every mark is located on it. They took the time to look at it and place red tape on the areas of concern. I signed a small receipt that said it was okay if the jacket got ruined in the cleaning process and I wouldn't hold them accountable. Great, I signed it. They seemed to have a fairly good attention to detail upon evaluation. After returning when it was ready the jacket looked identical. "What are all these stains?" I said as I observed the jacket looked the same to when I dropped it off. They told me that jackets like this were hard to clean and this material was difficult to work with. For reference, it's a yellow polyester lined puffer. I said I'll come back when it's clean since they offered to attack the problem areas again. When I came back there was no change, same stains same spots and same excuse. "It's a hard material to work with and we couldn't get them out". Instead of offering a service they can't perform they should refrain from offering it at all. Be extremely cautious if you bring anything other than a collared shirt to this establishment. Attention to detail is low when it comes to delivering. read more

Alcoa is fast, friendly and reasonable. They do a good job. I've had hemming and mending done.I once had a hem come down after one wearing, and they repaired without charge. Generally the sewing is very good. read more

I recently took some things here to have them cleaned, and had a good experience. Prices were fair (and they gave me a discount for being a first time customer) and they got things finished in a timely fashion. It is a small little storefront, and parking can be a little bit of a pain, but it's really close and convenient. read more

My concern with this place is that when they misplace items, they immediately insist it's your mistake and that they don't have it. This is the second time I've had to really push to get them to LOOK so that I could retrieve my items and I'm not going back. I have no idea why they are so unhelpful. read more

I live in North Bend and was not happy with the dry cleaners there. A friend of mine recommended me this cleaners. I tell you, these people are so nice that I felt like my business was truly appreciated. They turned it around overnight which I was grateful. Quality was superb. In addition they gave me 15% off for being a first time customer. I hear they can even do the same day at no extra cost if you drop off the clothes before 11 AM and ask for it. The gentleman in the afternoon was very kind and knowledgeable and gave me a thorough explanation on the Dry Cleaning procedure. I have the same situation that one of my item may be lost at the cleaners, I found this after some days I picked it up, and when I go back to the cleaners to check if they have it, the lady worked there is extremely rude and laughed at me. 5 stars to the Asian lady who works there in the morning, who is very friendly and the main reason we still go there once in a while. However one star to the Asian gentlemen who works there in the afternoon. He is super rude to the customers. I think he is most likely the owner of the place. Broke buttons of three of the five shirts I took there. Could be a mistake and these things happen, but the attitude he showed while dealing with the situation was rude and arrogant. If you want good service, avoid going in the afternoon and just go in the morning so you can deal with someone who has better customer service skills. read more

Completely ruined a new white blouse. Asked for no starch, it was starched. Returned it for a re-do. When It was returned to me, the sateen finish was completely ruined, it was grey and SHRUNK! Could not wear it. After 1 wearing and 2 "cleanings" one of which was to undo their mistake, i had to throw it away. DO NOT bring good clothing to this cleaner unless you like discarding $$$. read more

Aloha Cleaners offers amazing customer service. I'm really impressed with the quick turnaround, kind people, convenient store hours and drive to get the stain out. :) I went to Aloha Cleaners for the first time on a Saturday with two garments. They told me my items would be ready to go on Monday after 5! When I went to pick up my garments they were still working on one of them which had a really bad stain. They allowed me to pick up my other garment without paying first and asked that I come back the next day for the other item. They were not able to fully remove the stain on the second piece (it was a tough one) but gave me a discount instead! I try not to buy clothes that require dry cleaning but for the few items I own that do, I will definitely be bringing them back here. read more

Okay cleaners. Going here was convenient due to its location but they are pricey and the clothing is not, at times, cleaned well. I would have given 2 or 3 stars but they charged 70$ + for a simple fix on a garment. I was not given an estimate but when my husband picked up the item the bill came to more than 70 dollars. NO. Do not take your things here. They are unreliable and will lie to you just to get your business. I brought some couch covers in there before moving and explained that I would need them done by a thursday evening at the latest (since I was moving out of town). The lady assured me they would be done by that thursday evening but I got so busy from packing I came to pick them up friday morning and they were confused why I was there. They said that they weren't done and we would have to pick them up later... um no, we were moving out of town we couldn't just wait for them. So we asked to just take them as is, then we were informed they had been transferred to their other location in bellevue and they would have to be picked up there. We drove all the way over there to pick them up and they a) weren't done and b) hadn't even been started. They said they weren't even able to clean them because there was one stain they wouldn't be able to remove. They didn't even bother to call us and let us know or offer to clean them without getting out the stain. No, they just let them sit there and had us hunt them down after they assured me they would be finished. Just don't take your stuff here. read more

I have been taking my clothes to Scott for over seven years. He has provided amazing customer service. We have taken our clothes for dry cleaning, alterations, and repair. He remembers my name and phone number every time I visit the store. I live in Preston and pass other dry cleaners to visit his store because of the level of service he provides. He also provides additional cleaning for some of my shirts because the collar can get discolored. I wear suits and dress shirts every day for work and find his prices are competitive to other dry cleaners. As long as I continue to live in Washington, there is no other dry cleaners I will go to. I have taken the same pair of jeans with a giant hole in them twice to this place and had them repair it to near new condition for under $20. Best dry cleaner around. Always courteous, prompt service. Owner remembers and greets you by name. Excellent results. Have a pair of very expensive ivory pants that I stained the first time I wore them. Aloha worked on them using different methods and voila, the stain was removed and never returned. I have been taking all my cleaning here for years including down quilts, husband's shirts and sweaters, cashmere blankets, antique table linens etc. Always perfect when returned.
