The room smells very bad like mildew. When we got undressed to go to bed, we noticed the floor feels damp/wet & gross. ***2nd message sent to the text service the next morning after I talked to the lady at the front desk: Even when your head of cleaning walked in, she said: "whoa!" As soon as she smelled the room right when we opened the door. I guess this is your way of fixing the wet nasty floor for guests?!?! At least she was sympathetic, because she knows no one should've been assigned this room; and brought us blankets so we wouldn't have to walk on a completely wet floor. Also; when we got back last night, the air was on the coldest setting, I put the temp all the way up to 75, it's still only 66 degrees in the room... so that's broken also! We definitely should not be paying for this crappy room. I am not happy at all. The night person shouldn't have ignored my texts. The person at the desk this morning, offered to put in a work order, that totally wouldn't help our situation this morning... very nonchalant and didn't care. When I started explaining our situation, she replied "oh yeah..." so she knows we had a problem and texted, but she said sometimes they don't do a good job at replying to texts at night. This is not good customer service at all. When I checked out, I re-explained my situation to another male at the front desk. He said he'd give my info to the manager when she gets in about a refund. Coffee, tea, and hot cocoa area available 24/7 in the lounge area. The bed was thee most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Yesterday I had a job change and needed to cancel an upcoming stay. I reached out, explained the situation, and asked for any flexibility. The property declined and enforced the full late cancellation penalty of over $600. I understand policies exist. At the same time, loyalty used to come with some level of flexibility. That doesn't seem to be the case here at this property. Disappointing experience and will for sure not come back - the Jordan Creek Courtyard is super flexible though and it reminds me why I always go there. Remember folks - the decisions are always in the hands of the management and the team they train. If they want to, they will. If they don't, they won't.

There were two luggage valets in the spacious closet that we did appreciate. The bed was comfy with a load of pillows. I do wish that hotels would have King size pillows for king size beds. The pillows tends to be small and not very stout. The quality for the cost was great, though we would have happily paid more for a bigger room.

Parking was right up front. We were not in the main hotel but the cottage next door (which is way nicer than the main hotel). The only 2 complaints were; our neighbors were loud and played awful music til past 3am.and we had a wasp nest in our room (which we took care of by shutting the window). As I didn't work the next day I didn't care to complain about the neighbors noise. We also missed breakfast be cause we thought it ended at 11am but it ended at 930am. We might have misheard.

We messaged beforehand to have a pack n play for our son and when we got to the room, there was black, fuzzy mold growing on multiple bars on the crib. The staff did not seem to think it was a big deal. Aside from that, the room was pretty beat up with scuffs all over and chips out of the cups. The walls were also paper thin. We definitely won't be staying here again and will look for a different Marriott property in the area.
