It's Homey,it reminds you of a favorite Aunts place or Grandmothers place in the Country,filled with Country Nostalgia and Cottage garden,theres a Jacuzzi for the evening and you receive a Menu to choose from, the night before and a full fridge for you're private use. The Proprietors live next door,so you truly have the the lil B&B to relax and watch t.v.,and if you love Nature,there are birds of various species and other wildlife like Deer,and even spotted a Fox off in the distance. In a Old Neighborhood,but worth checking out for the price is reasonable and Friendly Hosts,not the Hilton,but give it a try,theres even room to park your jet skis or boat for the Shasta Lake. Which suprised me when she told me she use to have a catering company. To end, if all you want to do is have somewhere to lay your head at the end of your fishing, hiking, or day at the lake with your loved one , then this is the place.

We were greeted by our gracious host when we arrived and shown to our hole. We were absolutely stunned! The hole was gorgeously decorated, fully appointed with every amenity imaginable and cozy as can be! We quickly settled in and strolled around outdoors before the sun went down, the entire area is just phenomenal! We were the only guests there so it was divinely peaceful and felt like we truly were in a little hobbit village! In the morning we were served a delicious homemade second breakfast, expertly prepared and delivered to our door! It was a completely amazing stay, can't recommend enough and will definitely be back.

When we noticed the beds were dirty and unwashed I went to the front desk to get a new room or new sheets. She gave us the bedding and told us to change it. When we stripped the bed there was a mattress protector that had clearly never been washed. We lifted that to reveal a USED CONDOM underneath. We got our things and left. Only got a refund for one night out of three but I didn't care I just had to leave. I hate to go after a small family business, but when we told the lady in front she tried to convince us we were wrong. We left immediately and went to a different hotel. I understand it might not be easy to keep up with cleaning but this was ridiculous.

Situated just 17 miles east of Weaverville, the inn provides the perfect spot for vacationers wanting to escape to serenity. The birds are often seen competing for fish in the local waters. Flying squirrels even inhabit the area. Hundreds of plants dot the landscape including Tiger Lilies, Bleeding Hearts, and Buttercups. Many great daytrip adventures are available as well. The Trinity Alps, Whiskeytown, and Weaverville are all only about a half-hour away. These are all great excursions. I don't know why the previous reviewer reduced the star rating for this - the property owners offer a solution. ‍ For smaller events, you can park right next to the house. The property is off the main highway behind a private gate.... The road is dirt, but well maintained and plenty wide for two vehicles to pass - don't be concerned and drive slowly!! We've been using this property for YEARS and have never had any issues. I would recommend this property 150%!!

The 4 stars reflect the dirt, narrow road getting there and thankful for the golf cart escort or we would not have been able to get to the house from parking area, which is a bit downhill. Was nice to experience a lively property.
