As I arrived, there was a slight confusion, as there are no signs of it being a business. However, the stylist, Dinah, greeted me at the door and walked me over to the salon area as her previous customer left. Dinah asked me to put on a jacket to catch the hair. The jacket covered the back part of my body. On top of that, she placed the customary frontal cover to catch the hair on the front side. Rapport was established immediately, and I felt comfortable right away. There's something g about the place being in a home that makes you feel cozy. Now, don't get me wrong. This isn't a place where someone decided to cut hair In their house. The salon looks like a salon on the inside with all the amenities of a salon. There's a wash tub for your hair to get shampooed, which I got, and just about everything you expect. It doesn't look girly either, which will make most men comfortable. Credit cards are accepted and my hair has received compliments since I left. Because of the double-covered areas, I didn't require a change in clothe after I left, as I had no hair on my body and Dinah combed me before I left. I will most definitely return here.

Took my elderly mom to get a hair cut and my mom asked her for a certain haircut showed her the…read morepicture and still did her own thing and the lady was super unfriendly my mom wanted to make conversation with her and she literally told my mom she didn't want to converse so my mom felt all bad and when my mom would ask her something or tell her she would call me to question her decisions just cuz my mom is elderly. I was going to cut my hair with her but once I saw how she cut my mom hair and how rude and mean she was I told her I had changed my mind and went else where. Not recommended at all.

I was so excited to get my hair done by Carlos just by looking at all the great reviews and before…read more& after photos online ! We had set up a date for my hair appt over the phone. I went to his studio and sadly he told me he had to cancel and reschedule for another time. He was very genuine and apologetic and offered a free shampoo and discount for our new reschedule appt (Awesome by the way) unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the rescheduled appt due to work. Anyways, 3rd attempt and so so worth it!! (He did come through with the shampoo that he promised and the discount which was very nice of him) There is a seating area with a variety of magazines to look through and a flat screen that was playing the movie "White Chicks" lol SO, Carlos did an awesome job with my hair! I had dyed my hair jet black (I know I know, it's bad for my hair) about two months before I met with Carlos for my hair appointment and I had showed him a photo of something similar that I wanted and he did above and beyond! He knows what he is doing It's been three months now since that appointment with him, my hair grew out a little and I just still love it. He left me there while he was working with me to go do some errands (around one hour) with my hair wet,, after an hour I called him to see if he was coming and he replied to me in a very rude way. I waited for him to get there and left some money in the chair for his unprofessional and undone service and started walking outside, he followed me calling me and when he knew I wasn't coming back he started cursing and telling me "what kind of christian you are", I didn't speak one word.
