The guys worked all day, did a good job and cleaned up. Lo and behold 2days later we had a problem with our furnace and they came out quickly to fix it. We had a small electrical fire so they put us at the top of the list. Thank goodness they were able to replace one insignificant part that was compromised by bats getting into the duct work and shorting out a part. We are back in business and very happy with Monte, the owner and his very capable employees.

The pricing was MUCH LESS than another local HVAC company quoted. We will use them again and highly recommend them.

Dear Tim and Magic Sun…read more Thank you so much for the trouble shooting. Though it was a simple fix that i should have figured out on my own, after a number of calls to other solar companies, Tim responded quickly and made the process much better and more affordable. That said, Magic Sun is now my forever "maintainer" and go to for solar or battery issues.

We had a great experience with Diamond Solar Solutions. They were highly communicative from start…read moreto finish -- I had direct cell numbers for the team and could text questions anytime, and they usually responded very quickly, often immediately. Their pricing was the best of the three contractors we considered, and they were also the only company willing to set up a non-export system so we could preserve our NEM 2.0 status and still get permission to operate from PG&E. That was a huge advantage for us, since other contractors were pushing us toward NEM 3.0. Their sales team was patient, helpful, and not pushy at all. They walked us through our options clearly, were honest about scheduling constraints, and still found a way to get us in on a pretty good timeline. They also came up with creative solutions when other issues popped up, which we really appreciated. We're very happy so far with our 14 additional panels and Tesla Powerwall 3. Rob, Brad, and Josh were all great to work with. They're highly rated for a reason.

He was responsive throughout our whole interaction and he ranks up there as one of the most thorough, helpful, and transparent roofing experts I've spoken to. You can tell he loves his vocation, treats his everyone with respect & dignity, and expects high quality workmanship from his team. Our quote was competitive and within a few thousand compared to two other similar companies. While we opted to go with another provider for our roof (it was truly a difficult choice), we'll certainly return to Volt when we're ready to install solar due to the customer service and attentiveness I experienced during the estimate process. I am always skeptical when I see companies with a skewed number of reviews, and I rarely provide a 5 star rating, but I think it's certainly deserved in this case.

If it wasn't much of a loss, I would be ok with just helping the environment but it is a huge cost. We are using less electricity now than were then (fewer people living here and we are gone from the home approx 2 months a year), and still when adding the lump sum payment due to REU annually and the payments on the remaining $18,000 owed of the $40,000, we were much better off with no solar. And to add insult to injury, the system stops working every year (which you have to monitor).
