They are friendly and helpful from the first call to schedule the move until the last piece is delivered. They treated every box, every piece of furniture as if it were their own. My lamp shades were crushed (they should have been boxed) and the several pieces of furniture I have were broken and not fixable. I had about 30 blankets for them to use to wrap each piece and the owner told me I should have bought or rented moving blankets. Don't you think that could have been relayed to us vs throwing everything into the truck not wrapped.not only that, I specifically told them they could use our blankets. The owner insinuated we were cheap "as during the times of recession that people went cheap and loaded their own Uhauls " as we did. I have hired several professional movers over the years and this was by far the WORST job I have ever seen. The movers were consistently on their phones and extremely slow. They never ever offered to compensate us once. I would never use these movers EVER! Our items arrived crushed with lampshades out of boxes, and more-and our furniture was completely scratched up! Again, they had the opportunity to use the blankets we offered them. Never ever again! And the men smelled like alcohol!

Convenient: Allowed me to pay for the towing bill at the tire shop as part of their invoice instead of paying separately for a tire and towing. Less than Thoughtful: rather than positioning the tow truck directly behind the car in the driveway when there was plenty of room to do so, the rep drove the car with a completely flat tire (basically drove on the rim) back and forth maneuvering it behind the truck. Uncommunicative: The quote was not discussed with me in advance, I was not given the option of putting the car on the flat bed so it ended up being pulled by the front 2 wheels, and before the driver moved my car behind his truck, he neglected to ask if it was alright to do so.

I searched all around Lufkin and most places either wouldn't respond or want to deal with the insurance company of the person that hit her. A&B agreed to do the work and help with the insurance company. After a few days I was informed by the insurance company that the car was totaled. I contacted A&B and they got me in quickly to take the remaining items out of the car and I signed it over to them. At this point I thought I was done with them. However, the insurance company tried to mess me over and blame A&B. I stopped back down and asked about what was going on and the owner took the time to explain their billing, what was going on and assured me they would get to the bottom of the issue. The insurance company called me a few days later to reimburse me a little more but I was still out a lot of money for the charges they refused to cover. Keep in mind this is not my insurance company, it is the one who hit my daughter's car. I called A&B with the insurance update and they fought with the insurance company again on my behalf. A&B made sure I received the whole amount due for the car. They stuck with me to the end and went to bat for me when they could have left it alone. While I can't speak personally to their repair work, I can speak of their customer care.
