Convenient: Allowed me to pay for the towing bill at the tire shop as part of their invoice instead of paying separately for a tire and towing. Less than Thoughtful: rather than positioning the tow truck directly behind the car in the driveway when there was plenty of room to do so, the rep drove the car with a completely flat tire (basically drove on the rim) back and forth maneuvering it behind the truck. Uncommunicative: The quote was not discussed with me in advance, I was not given the option of putting the car on the flat bed so it ended up being pulled by the front 2 wheels, and before the driver moved my car behind his truck, he neglected to ask if it was alright to do so.

WORST PLACE EVER!! My son's car broke down on his way home from SFA, and we called this company…read morewhom also turned out to be an auto repair shop as well. Bill Ross is the person that I was dealing directly with towed my son's car and got him back to the school until I made it from Dallas to pick him up. Since this was on a Friday, he told me that first thing Monday he would look at the car and let me know what the diagnosis was and how much it would cost to fix it. Well as promised he called, he told me the radiator had busted, it needed a thermostat and it could use a oil change. He said no damage was done to the motor since my son had pulled over and not continued to drive. All was good until that Wednesday I received a call from the mechanic tell me it was a head and the last time he did a job like that it was around $2000.00 and that I may as well get a new motor. At this point, I am furious because had I been told this information or even of the possibility of it being the motor I would have told them not to touch the car at all. Well I told the mechanic to have the owner to give me a call because I would not be paying $893.39 because they misdiagnosed the vehicle. The owner never called me so I call him that evening, he said let him call me Friday since the next day was Thanksgiving, and he would look over the ticket and let me know. Well he called me Friday and tells me to pay him $600.00!! I said $600.00 for what, you told me one thing and now you come back and say something completely different and you expect me to pay that kind of money for a car that is not going to work or be repaired as the car was not worth the repairs at that point. He did not initially want to take the new radiator off or anything. He began to lie and say that he told me that it would be that cost if he found nothing else, which he never did, he told me there was NO DAMAGE DONE TO THE MOTOR!! He finally agreed to take off the radiator and send it back and charge me $400.00. I told him he was the professional and should have did his job thoroughly in diagnosing the car so that I can make the call whether or not I wanted to pay that amount and not come back with something else. I feel what would have been fair in this situation would have been to charge for the towing and diagnostic and he take a loss on the rest because he misdiagnosed the car so now I am out of unnecessary money. I don't know much about Nacogdoches or mechanics there, my son only goes to school so we were at the mercy of this guy and he screwed us over. This guy said they had been in business for over 60 years and I thought from our conversation that he would be a good mechanic and a fair person. I was completely wrong. Very unprofessional and did not do his job. I would never refer anyone to this company at all.

Update: Since my first experience with S&W I have returned twice for more body work. The service I…read morehave received has been proof that they truly deserved a second chance. I have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about the company, their work, and the people who work there. Thank you for taking such great care of my vehicle S&W. I first started my journey with S&W several months ago due to paint damage from East TX's not so lovely "love bugs." In the beginning I must admit the shop encountered some challenges in restoring my vehicle. The vehicle had to be returned to the shop to several times for paint match issues, trash in the paint, and flare issues. I was at that time unsatisfied with the quality of work and customer service that was being provided. Fortunately I was able to get in contact with Cory Pigg and after expressing some of my frustrations he connected me with Mark Crocker. From that moment I became a truly happy customer! Mark took the time to listen to my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure my expectations were met. I have received my vehicle back and it is in perfect condition by my standards (which are pretty high). Overall I would recommend S&W for auto body work due to Mark's diligence in seeing this project through.

I always heard SnW was top notch. I also always told people that would ask where to take their…read morevehicle, I'd say SnW. Now that it was my turn I'd like to apologize to all the folks I mislead to bring their vehicles here. Our 6 day old parked suburban was backed into in a parking lot. The persons insurance was progressive which I thought was probably gonna be hell tbh. Going back and forth between SnW saying the insurance company did not want to replace the bumper cover and the insurance company saying SnW never said it needed to be replaced that they could repair it was tiring. At the end of the day the job done was subpar at best. There is still a wave in the cover that "is repairable" the fitment it crap. The first time we were told our vehicle was ready it had trash all in the paint and fisheyes along with orange peel. Around the sensors looked like a kindergarten homework assignment. So they took it back and kept it for another week. Second time was better but can still see the wave where the repair was done and fitment is still not right. Sensor rings are better but still has issues. We was told by Steve which is the manager I think that's all he can do with what he was paid and to get the fix that I was looking for he needed a new bumper cover that progressive said no to. I talked to the insurance adjusters manager today and come to find out they over paid them by several man hours on the repair and also backed up the adjusters story that said SnW never ask for a new bumper cover. So Progressive isn't gonna pay anymore money since they over paid and SnW (according to Steve) can't do any better on the fix. So at the end of the day I get the long hard shaft of just take the 6 day old vehicle with waves in the bumper cover and trashy fitment that's all on me. Be careful where you take your vehicle or who you vouch for, cause sometimes those people don't care or don't wanna care about taking care of their customers. Which in my opinion should be 1st on the list. What happened to the days where shops take there reputation serious. SnW may do good work..... I will never know I won't come back unless it is a warranty issue on this vehicle and I will NEVER tell another soul to take their vehicle here. SnW just remember you make you own advertisement this could have been a whole different ad... do better
