I've been looking for a good hair place since my hair was way overdue for a trim. I'm talking like two years over due. PMP is just down the street from my house, so I checked the reviews & ended up making an appointment after I popped in for a consult to figure out what I'm looking at, price wise. I'm a very flighty gal who can't remember diddly squat from two days ago, so you can guess how happy I was when you opt to have a appointment reminder emailed to you as well as texted to you a day or so before you're to see them. Loved that' I got my coloring done with different shades of brown, (my hair was all sorts of color shades since I've dyed it black for ten years and then stopped coloring it back in January), then gloss was done and had about five inches taken off and some layering. I'm EXTREMELY happy with the results! Very very happy with how it turned out. The gals in the salon are extremely nice, we talked the entire time which made my appointment fly by, they offered up coffee and snacks while I was letting the coloring treatment do its thing. Honestly, I'll definitely be going to them from now on because I was so happy with the entire experience.

Sure, we'd trim it…read moreevery now and then, run clippers along the sides, but I was going for it, I'd saved hundreds of dollars and nobody could tell just how caveman my sh*t had become on video conferences, so why not keep going, right? I made it six months. And then one day, during a video conference, I saw my reflection and realized I'd gone from unkempt to downright unprofessional. I couldn't go on this way. I called the closest, highest-rated shop in my neighborhood, Runway, and left a message. The next day they called back and we set an appointment for a few days later. My stylist/barber was one of the owners, he and his spouse opened the shop a couple years back. He was also a firefighter, so this was his part time gig, but he was clearly talented, taking an inch off the top and blending the rest together to create an easy to manage hairstyle that's now lasted the better part of a month, and still looks pretty darn good. Oh, and the price? TWELVE BUCKS. Can't beat that. I guess the only question now is whether I can go another eleven months before I return.

I asked for very thin foils to go along the part line instead of perpendicular and she did just that. I also asked for Ash only color because my hair has red undertones. Most hairstylists look at me and think, or a natural will be fine and do that instead, but Martha listened to me and only used Ash color. She was amazing and made me feel beautiful! When we were talking I told her that I had a hot date with my hubby that night, and so she styled my hair for my night out. My husband loved it! Two big thumbs up.
