Go to the website you can see where to click to get started. After you select what you want, there is a good variety, you will get an email confirming your order. Within a few days you will get an email to pay then it gets delivered on the next day for your area. I messed the day up and didn't hear him knock (I work from home and ha headphones on) so I missed the truck. It came back later. The gentleman that dropped it off was great very friendly and helpful. The products all looked great and came in boxes so it was easy to handle. I spent $300 and am set for 7 people for protein for a good 6 weeks and cheese for month. I suggest trying it and if you do as a reminder it's nice to tip the delivery guy no matter if its pizza, mulch or meat.

Hmmmm, it was super watery, certainly not prominently consisting of beef drippings...maybe beef juice to water ratio 1:3...ugh. Hand cut curly fries were soft, greasy, super soggy...edible if chef patted down grease with a paper towel. The beef on the Philly and French dip were shavings of meat, maybe the detritus aftermath of trimming/prepping steak cuts. Problem is, the texture of the meat came off as crispy flesh shrapnel, not good, thick, juicy slices, certainly not stacked high. Put it like this: the meat was fodder for sausage meat, perhaps, but not the signature item on a featured beef-based sandwich. Beverages were canned, no fountain...meh. Soup, while on the menu, was not available. Bummer. On a positive note, I loved the ambiance...unsophisticated barn-like atmosphere. I was hesitant to take the plunge due to the higher price of such products, but health reasons made me reconsider. I heard about Farmer Ben's and bought jjust a few items the first time (some hamburger, sausage, bacon and a couple steaks), and I was sold from thereon. The flavor, quality and freshness of the meat is unsurpassed. It's so worth the price to get such healthy, nutritious food. Their farm store sells other products as well (some excellent dairy and poultry products, plus grass-fed lamb from other farmers in the area). I hear this summer (2012) they are adding some farm grown veggies, too. Well worth the nice country drive to shop.

Each time, I basically walk-in, I point to a table, the staff give me a nod, and I sit down. It's never clear to me if we're supposed to grab our own drinks (and water), but we do, and they note on the bill as they take our order at our table. To pay, you actually go down the hallway to the store to pay the bill. So the service is somewhat confusing and rushed, but never rude. Overall, I still enjoying coming here. Food is cheap and authentic, so I'm willing to forgo some service here.

My friends and I were looking for a little day adventure and we found this blueberry farm. It was…read moreso much fun to go out (it was a beautiful day) and come home with almost 16 pounds of blueberries! I picked about 8 pounds and paid only $15. When you get there, there's a small table with walker talkies for you to page the owner. The owner of the farm come out and talks to you about the blueberries and tell you to page him if you have any questions or need any help. The blueberries are beautiful and to me seemed very organic, no pesticides or herbicides seemed to be used. My friends participate in the "CSA" box that this farm offers that delivers a box or fresh vegetables and food to your door and a scheduled regular drop-off. They said some of the vegetables they've never seen before and they love experimenting with different foods they can make. Such a great local farm! Definitely a family friendly excursion!
