UPDATE: Very displeased that my nails didn't even last a week before they started to peel at the base. They came off in one swipe way too easily and I had to end up pulling them off because they kept getting caught in my hair when I ran my fingers through it naturally. Very disappointed. I typically have a positive experience here. It is the closest nail solon to where I live so I tend to stop in more often than other nail salons. The wait is the worst part. Even if you make a reservation, you may be waiting 30-40 mins to get in anyway. That's the most frustrating thing to me. So if you plan accordingly, the rest of your experience should be pleasant. Their price list is busy and hard to understand. I never know exactly what to ask for when I wasn't a basic manicure and not the spa and massage option. Most nail salons have an overwhelming polish smell, but this place does not. So that's a plus! This was by far the worst experience. My water was cold and they accidentally drained it and then filled it with colder water. Then the woman doing my pedicure didn't ask me which one I wanted just gave me the most expensive one. Then I sat there for 30-40 minutes with towels on my legs and the. 20 more minutes with no polish until my sister in law said something to them about me not getting polish. Then! I got a pedicure at Allure Nails yesterday, and wasn't very impressed. We had an appointment, but still had to stand and wait for a half hour. I couldn't understand 75% of what my nail technician was saying. I knew she was trying to up sell me to get the more expensive pedicure, but I just had to keep repeating that I wanted the basic one. I did pay extra to have her put a flower design on my nails, and she did a good job, but it was $7 when it is normally $5 at all other salons. She also used craft paint to do it instead of nail polish, which I thought was extremely odd. I did like the ambiance of the nail salon. They had good massaging chairs, and nice meditation music playing. They also wore gloves and had plexiglass for COVID-19. read more

We walked into this place on a Wednesday night at 5:30. There was only 1 other person in the salon when we got there. We asked if my daughter could get a pedicure and my other daughter wanted gel nails. One of the girls immediately started on my daughters nails. They put my daughter in the pedicure chair while she waited for the other girls to finish up. It was quite a while and they didn't even have her soaking her feet while she waited. Poor customer service! While my daughter was getting her nails done the lady cut her when she was cutting her cuticles and she was bleeding. The lady didn't even acknowledge the fact that it had happened. 3 days later and it is still hurting her. Not to mention her gel is already peeling off. I wish 0 stars were an option because I'd leave that. I've been here 3 times. Never again. Each time has been awful. Today was the worst. I got my gel nails done. She forgot to file my nails! Seriously! I paid for a manicure and she never filed my nails or cleaned up my cuticles! At the end of the manicure she poured rubbing alcohol all over my nails and THEN put the cuticle oil on the already painted nails and still wet with alcohol fingers. Never had me wash my hands either. So at the end of my so called manicure, I went back to go wash off the dust from the electric file (that she used to remove my old polish instead of soaking it off while I waited), and the alcohol and oil. I'm sure everyone has been in a nail salon or two where they have wondered if everyone in there is really licensed, or if maybe a few employees are friends or family or indentured servants and not really licensed. We went in to get my daughters nails done for her 6th birthday, and the lady who did her nails was incredibly rude to both of us. The worst $60 I ever spent. I was first told the price would be $35 then when I got to the salon it was upped to $50 for pink and white! Really?? $15 more for pink powder. I got them done yesterday and they are already lifting!! The woman was really nice but she never used the drill to file around the cuticles or to file any of the nail after she put on the powder. So now my cuticles are cracking! It usually takes about 45-50 minutes for a full set. It took her 25 minutes! I should have known!! No wonder there was only two other people there. Allure was close and had good reviews so I thought it may be a good fit, boy was I wrong. My appointment was for a pedicure and a full acrylic set. As soon as I sat down they started trying to ask me a question. I sincerely COULD NOT understand anything they were saying, nor could I hear them over the sounds of the jets, the TV, and through their masks. They started rolling their eyes at each other and giggling because I had no clue what they were saying. When I finally understood they were asking if I wanted a European pedicure or a basic pedicure I asked what the difference was. No answer. Finally I just said "basic," and left it alone. Then all of a sudden one of them said, "The European one has a wax service, that's the one you want, right?" I just said, "yes," to end the awkwardness of the situation. I was asked if I wanted white tips or color for my acrylic set. I said I wanted an all over color, not just the tip. This turned into her pushing me to get a gel manicure and not an acrylic set. When I kept saying j wanted an acrylic set for the length, she changed the story and said no one at the salon could do acrylic sets. She said the person who does went home, "had a baby to take care of," and would have to drive all the way back to work if that's what I wanted. Of course I declined and said I could come back another day. She then said that that specific nail tech only came in on Fridays and Saturdays. I thought to myself," you have got to be kidding me-a nail salon that has 5 nail stations only has ONE person who can do acrylic and they only come in TWO days a week!?" As for the pedicure my nail technician sped through every step except for when my feet were in the water or in the wax, when he could just sit there. He rushed through the massage and through the paint job, which looks like total crap (see picture-big toe "growth"), didn't offer to do any design, and as soon as he was done said nothing and walked away. I sat there awkwardly until I took the initiative to get up and pay (I had no idea if I was actually done or not). I paid and I tipped (it's not my style not to tip). But I will never come back. I am so glad I ignored all of the bad reviews on this place. My sister and I got there within a half hour before their close time. We asked if we had time to get acrylic nails and a pedicure. They were sweet and stayed over an hour after they should've closed. I really admired that before they did anything they told me the prices so I wouldn't be surprised later. Worst experience in n 40 years of mani/pedi's! I am stunned with the lack of service. I was sped through a Deluxe Gel Mani/Pedi in 43 minutes (normally a 1.5 hr minimum service). I paid extra for "Deluxe" because I was told the massage was longer. The first leg was quick so I timed the second leg, 1 minute 28 seconds! I wonder what the length of the basic massage is??? There was only one other patron in the salon. I am still uncertain why was sped through??? My nails were very crooked. I came home and filed them to straighten. I also filed all the gel off my skin! I have always offered a $20 tip for the service. I had no intention of tipping due to the lack of reasonable service. I was stunned when the gal asked if I would give a tip as I was leaving. I awkwardly gave her $4 and told her the service was not what I had received in the past. I thought I found my every three week mani/pedi home. I have been going to the salon for the past year. Me and my sisters made an appointment and they only had 2 workers. We had to wait awhile and didn't get much of a pedicure. The nail painted job was good but not worth the wait. They aren't very sanitary. My sister had floating nails or some skin from the previous person. As I watched, they don't clean the pedicure bowls at all. Which is really gross. They also don't wash hands or change gloves between clients. We got our nails done and it also took a long time because they started working on some people that walked in before finishing me. I had to sit for 20 minutes with wax on my hands and then she took it off said I was done and didnt check me out so I had to continue to wait. I wouldn't recommend going here. read more

I'm not normally one to write a review, but my experience today was shocking. I've come to Allure in past and have had a great experience, and after today I will not be returning. I set my appointment to be with Cindy but had a different women instead. The whole time she kept going back and forth between multiple people and me to do my pedicure. She asked what pedicure I wanted and I asked what the differences between them were, and she told me the deluxe came with all the basic elements plus a mask, towels, scrub and a 10 minute massage. When it came time to putting on the mud mask she put one streak on the front of each shin and then wrapped it in a towel. In the past it goes all over the leg. Then she started painting my toes and started the 10 minutes timer, by the time she was done with my toes she put a tiny amount of lotion on my ankles and tops of my feet, and rubbed them for maybe 2 minutes and the timer went off and she said "okay you're done". I was confused and said I thought it was 10 minutes and she said yeah the timer went off. I explained to her that she did not run my legs for 10 minutes so she rubbed them for an additional two minutes, as Cindy, the lady I requested, rubbed the lady next to me for well over 10 and that customer had requested only a basic pedicure. I paid more money to have a better pedicure and then had her try to jip me. I wouldn't have upgraded knowing what was in store. New to the area and still trying to find the next place to get my nails done. This is not the place. I went to get a gel set of nails done. The person helping me was far too aggressive when sanding the old polish off. I honestly should have left right there and then, but no, I guess I wanted to see how bad it could get. The sanding was so aggressively was painful. I picked my colors and as she started putting them on I noticed it was the wrong color. I didn't correct her though because I was too afraid she would feel the need to sand it off instead of remove it with polish remover while it was wet. To make things worse the gel was EVERYWHERE. It was such a sloppy application of gel. It was on my cuticles, my fingers, all over the place. She didn't seem to know how to clean up the mess. After I left I also noticed the gel was even. There were places all over that had pits. My nails started breaking within a week from the filing she did and this never happens to me. The place I was going before I moved my polish would last 3 weeks with no chipping, my nails were super healthy and never had a break. I will never be returning to this location. I would warn anyone else to stay away as well. Looking back I don't even think they had a manicurist do my nails, they probably had someone who does the waxing do my nails. There is no way they would be in business still if they do all their manicures this poorly. read more

The young woman who did my pedicure was friendly and efficient. I also wanted a manicure during my pedi to save time. The young lady called over the manicurist, who asked if I wanted gel or acrylic. When I said I just wanted a basic manicure, she said something sharp and angry in their language to my young lady and walked off. After that my gal never said a word. While my toes were drying, she grabbed all of the manicure tools and supplies, which I held in my lap while I received the fastest mani ever! After she painted my nails, she remembered she had not done the hand massage, so put some lotion on my arms and rubbed them soothingly. I admire her determination to do a good job despite some internal dispute. read more

My cuticles were cut, my feet were lightly scrubbed and I had a eucalyptus cream rubbed on my legs. The towels may or may not of smelt a tad mildewy, it could have been the lotion too.. not sure. I have only given the facts, I'll let you decide. I know they read the reviews, my suggestion to the owners is to remind employees that $45 is a lot of money, and to receive a spa treatment it needs to feel like one. Suggestion- have them make sure the chair is comfortable and patron is in the correct position. Let their feet soak in the warm water for a minute (relaxing and necessary) a warm demeanor always helps set an relaxing tone as well. I smile at my job-they can too. You have a beautiful clean shop. This place is DIIIIIIRTY. I don't think it has been cleaned, swept, or otherwise had any thought to what those words mean since the day it opened. I asked to use the restroom. Went in and there was cleaner in the toilet. Ok, but brown splashes all over the inside/outside of the toilet and floor and wall. That freaked me out and I could barely contain myself. This got me looking and questioning everything else including the tools and wash basin my feet were in. You can tell cleaning hasnt had been any type of priority for a very long time. I wonder when the the last time the health department paid them a visit because I can assure you it would not look like this had it been recently. This is not to say that the people there are not nice and try to do their best work. They are very polite until you challenge them on their English skills or their prices. Was given a gift certificate for this place and although I am not a fan of this place I went because I did not want to waste someone's money. I was given a shellac pedicure. I did not receive a massage on my legs at all and they charged me more for unknown reasons but I was polite and payed. I didn't ask for anything other then what was on the gift certificate so I am confused as to why I was charged more. They just scam people!
