My neighbor & I have been going to Allure for quite some time & have usually been satisfied with their pedicure service. However, they must have changed owners or management, because my neighbor was nearly refused service. She has cellulitis in her lower legs which makes them discolored. NO open sores, bleeding or pus - just discolored. They have pedicured her feet several times beforehand without complaint. Cellulitis isn't contagious or any threat to other people, but they treated her like a leper. Naturally, neither of us will return. Additionally, a third person was literally told they didn't want his mother's business because they were late to the appointment. Running off 3 customers per day? Wow! read more

I won't be back! I am 62 years old and thought a "professional" could do a better job than I. I was wrong! She did not to an adequate job if pushing back my cuticles on my toenails or my fingernails. I have ridges on my nails and all the other times I had a pedicure, the ridges were buffed down. I asked her to do my fingernails over and push my cuticles and she did such a bad job removing the clear nail polish it was still all over the tops of my fingers when she removed the clear nail polish. She and the woman doing my friend's nail really started to trash talk us! I don't have to speak the language! Their nonverbal cues were very clear! The clear she used on the second attempt was old and thick. I enjoyed my afternoon with my friend but I will never waste my time or ($58 + $10 tip) in this place again! read more

I honestly loved allure the first time I went but this time I was charged $100 for acrylics that were nothing like the inspo photos I've shown I rather of them tell me they couldn't do it then attempted, but was worst of all one of the gentleman working filed my thumb nail all the way down with the acrylic on it so now my nail is going to struggle growing back and he trimmed my toe nails to short and cut my toe with the clippers and best they would of offered was $5 off for injuring my toes. Not to mention the fact I was charged $50 for a signature pedicure when there website states different pricing. I brought my daughter here to get a med-pedi. Let me say this: it is all an allure. It may look clean, and they may have nice music playing. But the next day, she ended up with a toe infection. They did not properly sanitize their equipment or tools. I will not be coming back for acrylic or gel. read more

This Place was relatively friendly. The lady who did my nails opened a cuticle cutter pack in front of me and the tool had someone else's skin/nail debris on them ! She was not friendly and did a poor/rushed job of painting them. I was in and out within 20-25 minutes.There is a large gap in between my cuticle & the paint and just a messy job around the edges. They look strangely grown out and have weird bubbles forming. read more

Definitely wouldn't recommend this location service was horrible. They don't respect your requested preference! I wanted the VIP pedicure but I downgraded to the basic pedicure. I received the upmost basic, uncared for, unseasoned person to do my pedicure because I requested a female. I was seated after everyone that was still seated when my pedicure i was done. Never again complete waste of money and time! Service was rude and you could tell they didn't want to grant my request cause the kept whispering about my request. I have some crazy nerve damage in my left arm and they've done nothing but make all of the accommodations to help prevent it from flaring while getting my nails done. I'm sad to say that I had a less than desirable experience yesterday. I have gone to Allure 3-5 times now already and today's experience was the worst in a while. I paid $45 for dip that left me with glue all over my skin, and junk caked under my nails that I'm still trying to remove even today. I had no cuticle work done and my nails were finished within 10 minutes meaning little attention to detail was taken. I usually love the nail salon because it's a way to relax, but today was not enjoyable at all. I was especially surprised because I previously had some treatments that included lotion and I did not receive that either. I just feel that each time I come in I get a different experience and that there is not consistency or quality control. It's hard to recommend a nail salon when you feel like they are rushing in order to get the next person in as quick as possible. read more

This place was very nice and clean. My pedicure was perfect no dead skin left and my cuticles were cleaned to perfection. I also got a full set they were very pretty. They didn't do exactly what was on the picture I showed but he got close enough. Overall I was very pleased with the attention to detail and the willingness to give me what I wanted. read more

Let me just start with saying, I love this place! I came in for a pedicure and to get my nails dipped. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked to pick my color. I asked if they had dip, and they showed me 100+ colors that I could choose from. I wanted something natural, that would support my nails and I got just that. He really took time with my nails, shaped them, and buffed them to a perfect shine at the end. I love my nails! My pedicure was also one of the best that I have ever had! There's a sanitary liner for each customer, and each chair is a massage chair. I got the regular pedicure and it came with an AMAZING massage, followed by a warm cloth wrap. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get your nails done in Ruston. read more

Extremely poor service and respect for those with disabilities. I was born without fingers on my left hand so therefore I only ever get one hand done. Every single nail tech or establishment that I have gone to considers this and charges half the price for the service. Which makes sense, half the work =half the price right? I guess not at this salon. Before I was serviced I let the nail tech know I'd only be getting one hand done because of my disability, although she hardly spoke a single word to me through the 25-30 minutes of service I would have at-least expected a heads up or an explanation for whatever "policies" they have in place for such a person as I've never experienced treatment like this before. After being told two different prices at the register I asked to speak to the owner whom then I asked why the service wouldn't be half price since only have the work was done. Her only explanation was that the service of 1 hand takes the same amount of time as 2. Anyone with a brain or who has gotten their nails done, or done nails knows that this is not true. From the moment I walked through the door I should've known I would be treated as another dollar sign and not a customer as I was continuously asked for extra services that I wasn't seeking, and my nail experience being extremely rushed. I left this establishment feeling extremely undervalued and discriminated against. Even as I walked out peacefully and almost in tears from frustration other client who witnessed this event told me that it was unfair and they will no longer be giving them their money because of how I was treated. If you have any friends/family whom have visible disabilities I strongly suggest finding another place who actually values you as a customer & the amazing individual you are, I would not want anyone who I loved to go through or feel what I did today. read more
