Some of them are nice, but the lady that works in front seems to be a little abrupt and rude. Her customer service disposition can use a little adjustment. The men there seems to be accommodating and personable. They can be a more accommodating for senior citizens. Their patients with my elderly parents left a lot to be desired. The quality of work is relatively decent. But customer service leaves room for growth. If I need something done at the last minute and they have an opening, I will go, but other than that, I would give my money to another establishment. read more

When we walked in, we were not greeted and immediately asked what we wanted. Once I was seated I told her the color I wanted and she told me no, the color she had would look better and it did not!. She then tells me how she is soooo tired from working 7 days a week and is thankful she is getting off at 4pm today. I expressed my sympathy to make small talk. She made my nails lumpy and had the acrylic uneven along my cuticle. When I told her my concerns she shut me down and told me if she isn't finished and if she fixed it she would not file it down. My mom then asked what was happening as my tech slammed her phone on the table and started assisting another person. I showed my mom my nails and how she is saying she won't file them down because I expressed my concern, the tech then raised her voice and said if you don't like it you can leave, just get out. I told her not to raise her voice at me and we will go! I told her if I am paying 60 dollars on my nails and I don't like how they look then I have a right to tell you so that it can be fixed but I will never ever go back here. I only came because this one tech I met 1 week before told me to come back. I have been getting my nails done since i was a teenager and i have seen people come into these businesses and talk down on these techs so i have always been respectful to those doing me a service. With that being said I will never stand to be disrespected and talked down to especially in front of my mother and child. She was flat out rude and i hate that i fed off her negativity and raised my voice at the end. That women was horrible from beginning to the very end, I should've left when we weren't greeted or even when she complained about being there. I have been to this nail salon many times to get my toes done but this time they didn't put lotion on my feet after or gave me a massage. I was very disappointed because every other time they had done this. Also after filling in my nails they didn't put any oil or lotion as well. Every place I have gone to does that afterwards. To be one of the best places in ruston. I feel like this place is going down hill. Hopefully it was a one off thing but I am not sure if I want to come back. I went in to get my old dip take off and new dip put on and honestly this was the WORST experience I have every had at a nail salon! Not only did Tim not give me the shape I ask he also ripped my pants skin off on 5 out of 10 fingers! Although I was bleeding at the nail table, he didn't even offer help he just said it'll be ok. I was in shock and ready to get out of there so I paid and left. Today when I went in and asked for a refund because of all of the pain I am in they tried to tell me that I did this to myself. I have included pictures from right after I got them done and for the next day when they took the dip off. They insisted on taking the dip off before I got the refund and tried to tell me that I was faking all of this. Like I would do something like this to myself just for a refund. I'll never be back and I STRONGLY suggest no one else go there. read more

Horrible service. I paid 45.00 for dipped nails and they chipped the next day. I called the owner Ivy and was told to come back when the person that did my nails was there on Friday . Christy is the person that did my nails she previously told me she owned her own nail shop in Monroe and closed it. When I came in she said she didn't do my nails and didn't want to fix what she screwed up the first time! I am so angry, I came back on Friday for her to repair my nail. I waited over and hour to have her fix what she didn't do correct the first time, they powder was to thin! I was told she was doing a pedicure for over an hour. Currently in Ruston for work and needed to get my nails done. It was $45 for just removing dip polish and putting a new color on. They turned out pretty good but they are much shorter than requested which normally isnt a huge deal but they were my natural nails that I had taken a while to grow out. The guy I had was nice and just the right amount of chatty but he brought up how the area is known for low tipping multiple times while watching TV on his brand new iPhone in a Louis Vuitton case and checking his Rolex watch. So my friend and I went to have a good time and when the person doing outlet nails did the thing where they took the dead skin off our nails it kinda hurt and we thought that was jussi part of it but when we looked at our nails we both had some blood I on our cuticles. Also they did a really sloppy job with the last coat and there are visible air bubbles. I'm not going back. read more

This is my second time at this nail salon since moving from Texas. John did a full set for me Tuesday July 9th. He was extremely rude and threw his equipment down and began to get loud because I asked him to file my nails shorter because I am in the military. I am back on July 17th and my nails are lifted and need a fill already. I wait about 20-25 minutes for service. When I sat in his chair he asked what I wanted so I asked for pricing on a cut down or soak off. Then I stated I wanted a soak off. He got aggressive with an attitude, stood up and said "we closed at 7." Mind you there is still several women getting pedicures and needing nail service. He will never do my nails again. He is friendly to customers of other races and disrespectful to those darker than he is. I thank Ivy for soaking my nails off and apologizing for his behavior. I would recommend anyone else but him if you decide to go to this shop. read more

This has got to be the worst place that I have ever been to. The full set with white tips was $45. Much more expensive than the other places around town that I've been to. The man that did my nails was silent the whole time except for when he asked me if I wanted my feet done or my unibrow waxed- Rude! I was with friends and we drove in one car so I couldn't hold them up anyway. Along with being silent, he cut me- TWICE and told ME to be careful both times. I was bleeding all over everything and he continued to use tools on me with open cuts. The finished nails are ugly. They splay out at the tips instead of curving in and they bulge at the sides. I went home and took my own glass file to smooth out the rough edges myself. I had nail polish on my fingers before and he didn't even get it all off before putting the acrylic on. I have specs of blue polish underneath the clear acrylic. It's been a week and they're lifting like crazy. my natural nails were never fully glued to the tips so stuff gets in between the tip and my nails and the edges are all chipped and white from the lifting. PLUS he did the acrylic so far from my cuticle that it looked a week grown out as soon as I walked out of the shop. I'm not impressed. I would avoid this place. It's supposed to be the "fancy" or "good" nail salon in town but it's mediocre with a hefty price tag to make you think you're getting quality. More expensive does NOT mean better in this case. read more

After 4 years in Ruston, I have found my nail salon! I absolutely adore this place! The atmosphere is wonderful! It is pleasant, clean, and tastefully decorated. They have a wonderful selection of colors, and the prices are amazing for the care you receive. The deluxe pedicure is to die for! The people here are extremely friendly and accommodating! Woman doing my nails was on FaceTime the whole time and my acrylics are side ways on some nails and just look messy over all. I had to pay 5$ extra to have her shape the nail into the coffin shape??? I haven't been any where else that has made me pay to shape my nails when I bought a MANICURE.
