At 7:30AM, I called requesting service for a unit that was not heating. At noon, a service tech arrived and quickly fixed the issue. I was told there was no service charge since I had purchased the unit from them last year. Great folks to work with. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! This company was subcontracted through my home builder to install my air units in my new home. They installed them and did not register my units with Lennox for their extended warranty. After speaking with their company I was informed that they do register them for the extended warranty but that sometimes 1 or 2 may slip through the cracks that don't get registered. I'm guessing to them that it is no big deal to have such gross negligence in the way they operate their business and the policies they have. We were never informed by them or our home builder that our units had not been registered. We never given any paperwork letting us know we needed to register them. Anyhow fast forward 5 years and about 2 months later when my coil goes out on my unit and I contact the company to get a warranty replacement. After going back and forth with them that they are liable and it is their responsibility they have a new coil sent to the Lennox parts store in town. However the local company in town that is installing my unit informs me that I need 2 additional parts that have to be replaced anytime a coil is replaced. All Temp decided not to tell me about those parts or have those parts sent to the Lennox store. After numerous phone calls 1 of the 2 parts is finally sent to the Lennox store. I email and call requesting a meeting with the owner or higher up manager and am informed no meeting is necessary that they aren't responsible for anything. Since then I have emailed and called over a dozen times and have had no one return my calls or emails to schedule a face to face meeting. Not to mention All Temp offered to do the repair themselves and only charge me for the labor and refrigerant. The price they quoted me was 3 times higher than the price the licensed company here in town offered me. When the company here in town did the repair they informed me of parts that had been left off that shouldn't have been when All Temp initially installed my unit. This company has poor customer service and was in no hurry to help me get the issue of my replacement part resolved. Instead they took almost a week to get anything done even after my numerous times informing them I had 3 children and 2 dogs at home in my house that was over 85 degrees. That was a very unsafe and bordering on dangerous situation for my children and pets and All Temp took their sweet time trying to correct their mistake. This is an excellent way for a company to treat their military veterans and families. I have contacted a lawyer and will be taking them to court!!! read more

I only write these when the service you pay for isn't worth what you paid for. In the last 2 weeks I have left AllTemp multiple messages asking them to PLEASE JUST CALL ME back so we can discuss the issue. My last message was that if I didn't get a call back at a specific time I will writing a bad review. I guess they didn't care. So now why I am giving them a zero and not a negative star (if that was available) is because they did an ok job installing the two units outside and inside and also followed up on an issue that wasn't resolved by them but they did attempt to help within the first year. Now the reason for the ZERO is there customer service after the first year is horrible. I had and issue the first year with the copper tubing that is run between the walls from the outside unit to the upstairs air handler. The tubing rattles in the mud room wall every time the unit comes on. I will attach a video from this year after their two attempts to fix it. AllTemp came out to fix it Year 1. The noise didn't go away totally but it was manageable. Year 2 they had to come out again because the loud noise was back when we turned the AC units on for the first time that season. They told my wife, because I was deployed, that the rattling was coming from the tube vibrating against the brick foundation. Again whatever they did lessened the noise and she agreed that it was ok. If I was there I would NOT have accepted it. This year, Year 3, guess what, its back. Now AllTemp will not return my calls. They have an answering service that screens their calls. So it appears that they will only call people back if they want to. So my advice is to get the phone number that goes directly to the company. If not, I would be weary to use a company that didn't allow me to talk directly to them. A lesson I learned the hard way. There a lot of quality heating and air companies in the Midlands. I will be posting them with their links so you, the customer, will have better option than this ma and pa shop. Finally, I lived in the Winnsboro area for about ten years and have quite a few friends and acquaintances that live in that area that will no longer use this company because of this. I will continue to use my technology background to make sure that AllTemp receives the reviews they deserve. This is all because they do not have the integrity to do what is right.
