The cashier was stocking items when I walked in yet didn't say hi or smile at me. He was rather methodical checking me out with three large Seven Select PURE waters ($2.49 each or 2 for $3.50). I would have picked up some burritos to go, but the food already looked hours old plus whoever was working back there never came to see me at that counter. The restrooms are cleanish and the staff is friendlier across the intersection. Go there instead!

What he actually found is that this is the last gas for over 70 miles so we had to turn around and head back here to fill up. That explains why the price here is higher than the surrounding area... You pretty much have to stop here if you need gas in the area. I went inside to use the restroom and I cannot speak to the men's room because there were big yellow cones around it and signs saying it was shut down , but the lady's room was absolutely disgusting. Open garbages with used feminine hygiene products visible, incredibly dirty, toilet paper all over the floor, etc. I will say that when I walked out, the lady behind the counter was nice and seemed genuinely friendly, if not overwhelmed. Still, if you have the gas to make it to the next station, I suggest you keep on pushing.

Prices were as follows: Diesel = $4.65 Regular Unleaded = $3.50 Plus = $4.00 Premium = $4.44 Easy to get in and out. The convenience shop on the premises sells ice, Hunt Brothers Pizza ("all toppings at no extra charge"), Blue Bell ice cream, cigarettes... I mean, come on. They have it all.

The Stripes on 18th always has fresh food, employees are great, always fully stocked, and their coolers are cold unlike the other Stripes. Management at this store really needs to be recognized for their work. I think they should send them to the other one to get it up to par.

My daughter and I stopped here on our way to Lubbock back on May 19, 2026, to see what snacks they offered and to use the women's restroom. The snacks were the usual variety, but the restroom seemed half in construction - or rather, demolition mode. Such a hot mess. Also, I'm not a fan of the Blattodea order of insects and saw a few. I didn't find out if they were deceased or playing possum. You really shouldn't step on them either because that has potential to spread diseases & bacteria, etc... The employees were friendly and welcoming. They actually made eye contact with me.
