I called Pro Tow and they quickly scheduled a tow for me. They requested pictures of my driveway and positioning of the truck , prior to the drivers arrival. I appreciated their sense of preparation for this very awkward job. They sent Richard, and let me tell you, he had this situation figured out in no time. Given its very high degree of difficulty , he mastered it! Richard had the truck loaded and secured and then called me when he delivered it to Ford. Our car still looks great (it would be even better if we had time to wash it). :) The agreement was that DFW Storm Solutions would repair our car at no cost to us. But suddenly, several months later, I am receiving a bill from Hertz for a car rental fee for $240, which I was told I wouldn't be charged for. Hertz is saying that they didn't get paid so we are responsible for what is owed to them. I disagree! I called DFW Storm Solutions. I left messages in 3 mailboxes. I will keep you up-to-date on how this is handled. UPDATE: DFW Storm Solutions comes through again. In fact, my husband and I jumped the gun in assuming this was their issue, as it seems that Hertz is the company that did not handle things correctly. Within 10 minutes of leaving the voicemail messages, we got a call from Paul who told us that this was definitely a paperwork error and Hertz should never have billed us. He assured us that he would have the payment taken care of same day - and he did. On top of that, someone else contacted us through our FB post and kept us informed.
