I recently stopped by again and was honestly shocked to see that many of the same issues are still going on. The management and treatment of employees are especially concerning. While I was there, I witnessed a manager yelling at employees and speaking to them in a very disrespectful manner. There is a difference between holding employees accountable and publicly belittling them, and what I witnessed was completely inappropriate. During my time working here, I also had concerns about cleanliness and employee hygiene. There were frequently dirty dishes left around, issues with bugs that were not properly addressed, and employees who consistently came to work with noticeable hygiene issues. Drivers would sometimes smell strongly of cigarettes and dirt, to the point where customers would specifically request different drivers. I also witnessed situations where employees were instructed to give customers misleading information regarding how often certain employees were actually working. That is extremely unprofessional and creates a lack of trust between management, employees, and customers. I understand that working in a restaurant can be stressful, and I don't expect everything to be perfect. However, basic cleanliness, professionalism, respect for employees, and honesty with customers should be the bare minimum. After returning recently and seeing that the management environment has apparently not improved, I cannot recommend this location as either a place to work or a place to spend my money. I sincerely hope someone higher up takes the time to look into how this location is being managed.
