I contacted two independent agents and one brand-name insurance company. I was shocked at the price range for the same coverage. Jason Brofford at Detweiller-Brofford Insurance checked with different companies to get us the best deal, and the insurance he found for us was $1000 cheaper. We accepted pretty quickly! Every year when it's time to renew, Jason again looks around to find us the lowest price for coverage. This year, our policies are with Erie Insurance, top-rated for homeowners Insurance in the August 2017 issue of Consumer Reports magazine. My home policy had a 2% wind deductible and they gave me a quote from Erie with the same deductible as the other coverages. That 2% would be over $5000 and my normal deductible is $1000. Also they had a better car replacement coverage on my car. If my car gets totalled, I get a car 2 years newer. They explained a lot of coverage that noone ever took the time to explain.

I'm wait for a call still a day later from management to discuss why I was "misquoted" when I know I wasn't because I only have had 2 accidents and they are saying that the 2 tickets with those accidents WENT seen I'm very furious to say the least while they are still the cheapest in my case even if those 2 are counted for a total of 189/mon it's not bad BUT THERES NO EXCUSE for any o this to slip!!
