After going to State Farm, All State, and a few other major places for homeowner's quotes, I decided to look up a broker and gave him a call. He got me insured through Metlife for a lot less than State Farm quoted me. We also switched our auto insurance over when he gave us a quote through Safeco that was half as much as we were paying with State Farm (he says Safeco is one of the cheapest major insurer in Chicago). Outside of the great rates he finds as a result of being a broker, his service is excellent. He's in Berwyn but I've never needed to go to his office. He's very on top of e-mail and on the phone and follows up on things... He gets me what I need when I need, makes good suggestions, etc.

The following week I spoke with Michelle, who gave me quotes and additional details regarding the policies. I also shared with her that we had some issues with our existing insurance company. I was waiting to see if they were going to resolve them first and if not, we would switch to State Farm. Michelle was absolutely wonderful!! She was very positive, enthusiastic, caring, professional, and very knowledgeable! And, she was very patient and didn't pressure me at all. It turned out that we weren't able to get resolution from the other insurance company and a few days later, I called Michelle back to setup our policies. The process was very smooth, quick, and efficient and we did it all over the phone. Michelle invited my wife and me to visit the office (when we had an opportunity) to put the face to the voice. And, we did shortly thereafter. We really enjoyed meeting Michelle in person. She was very warm and welcoming and introduced us to the team as well. Everything about the claim information wise was wrong the year the make. The model of the boat the year make model of the engines 'n. To keep it simple ! I had a new boat motor with it service up to date from the Mastercraft dealor and that cost 1600 $ besides the motor costing around 8000 ! It was a crate Ford 341 windnwor from Miami ski Nautique!! ! ! Well it flooding on our lift and barely went under water I tested starts and battery and motor would not turn over !! I showed the guy my ocean boat that my mom has been in a collision and he look at it and said it was from impact and the foam was good and he just could not tell point of impact I had to wait for my mom as we share boat and it was her collision. !! The guy said the boat was totaled from a 3 foot crack and the ski boat as well !!! I got a paper saying they don't comer water damage from storms and bough claims were denied for 35 thousand dollars !! !! I still have a Harley. And 25 k in vehicles !! !! I Don t drive my Harley for fear of another denial of claims from me abusing a 21/2 year old crate motor ! That has 10 hrs and the 10 hour service at a 1599 charge from factory dealor !! ! He said becasthe carpet and interior looked bad I must have abuse the engine!! He would not listen he yelled over me and mage me feel terrible nn the interior of the boat and carpet weee in that's shape when I put the motor in !! So how did I abuse a boat I was ground up restoring starting with the power train first !! They progressive yelled bellies called my boat trash !! Because it need new vinyl and carpet !!! The motor had a full receipt for install and service there was nothing I could have done to take better care of the power train but there using old carpet and. Sun damaged vinyl as proof i mistreated the motor !! That is impossible!!!! I have proof of purchase and proof of service and it was serviced up to date !! A complete 100 hour service was done sorry I said 10 !! ! The plug was out and the boat was raised but if the spill way or locks open late ! My mother had a collision with the other boat but the put both boats I'm my canal and wrote up a hurricane claims !! I had to fight with a rep Alex was asked to help us as we're we now the owners of 35 thousand dollars of totaled boats and dealing with progressive the scream yell and turn every thing u say against u it took 2 months of complaining and getting screamed at by the agents saying your claims are denied form abuse and there is no hurricane damage of the ocean boat ! I said exactly because it was a collision the guy reopens the case the ladder interrogated my mom for 2 hours and she has a bad heart ! The tile here she was not in the policy but it direct deposits out of here account !! They finally reopened as colloinson and I had to send pics because adjuster looked at one foot and said the cap and wall are separated from a hit I said I have to get my mom she was the one driving and I just called it I'm and he never looked at the boat or the under neath ! The keel the scratches or the cap ! They dragged it out 6 more months and charges me premiums for boats they totaled mother open and shut 5 claims that now show I made 5 claims and that the scratches and all the outside damage was ! They said we have found damages inspected! They never took pics or inspected anything and said it's due to gradual wear and tear and ultimately structural breakdown !! With occurred over time I have pictures in May the accident was a few months later pics are time stamped and there is not a scratch proof to the coloosiom how do scratches happen offer time !
