I'm new to Pilates and I have to say I've been really loving it. I tried Pilates here and there before but it was nothing even close compared to the way Sira teaches. She is knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. She's also thorough in her explanations of the exercises and her guidance throughout the session make me feel confident on the reformer. Every session is pleasant even though I get my butt-kicked doing the exercises lol. You can tell she really loves what she does. Beside that, her studio is intimate and vibe inviting. I can't find a negative thing to say even if I want to. I started taking private sessions with Sira about 6 weeks ago, I've notice my muscles are more defined, I can better engage my core and my posture has improved. I'm new to reformer Pilates but Sira is an amazing instructor. I haven't danced in over 15 years, and working out with her is like coming home. She is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about her craft. She'll keep your energy high and is very encouraging. I love how my body feels afterwards and can't wait for when I hit 3 months to see the progress. COVID notes - temps are checked before every appointment and clients are required to wash their hands before every session. I've never met such a thorough and dedicated instructor. I went in for a trial session and she started off with setting goals and expectations. She's honest, realistic, and very dedicated to the progress of her students. With the session, she was motivating and made sure to explain all the fundamentals. I have a bad ankle from a recent fracture and she was attentive and even set plans to heal before working on progress. Sira has been my pilates instructor for over two years. In our first session it became clear that I needed to work hard on flexibility and symmetry....my left lower body was significantly tighter and weaker than the right side She started me with the basics, spending a lot of time on stretching to get a proper base in place. She added more and more movements as i was ready to progress, and i can't thank her enough for helping me get a much more healthy body with a fraction of the pain I used to have. She is very technical and detail oriented (which I lack) and is the true definition of a Classical Pilates Instructor. She loves what she does and she puts her all in to it and it definitely reflects in her work. I never tried Pilates before and I'm so glad my first time was with Sira! I was a bit nervous because I never used the Pilates machine/carriage before. Sira was really patient and got me familiar with everything. The first session with her was to get all the movements and figure out my body and strength.
