I've been working hard to keep my house extra clean during the COVID19 pandemic. A few days ago, my…read moreattention wandered while vacuuming and I plugged the hose of my old Electrolux vacuum. I've had the machine for a few years and it's always had the best suction of anything I've used, so I was unwilling to replace it. A friend recommended Hanif at A to Z, so I reached out via Facebook, expecting it would be at least days before I would hear anything. Instead, I got a friendly reply within hours. I explained that not only was my machine older, but that my budget was very tight. Hanif was quick to assure me that if I could drop my machine off ASAP, he would have a look and give me my options. I dropped off the machine and again expected to wait at least a few days before he would be able to get to me, as it was clear he was very busy. Instead, he got back to me early the next day. Out of consideration for my budget he recommended that I replace a hose but use my current handle. Again, I expected it to be days before he could get the part, but I was pleasantly surprised. My vacuum was ready to go the very next day. I got a prompt message letting me know and assurances they could be flexible as to when I could pick up. I am disabled and can't carry things very well. I was also very concerned about exposure to other people, since I am chronically ill. It turns out I didn't need to worry, since Hanif was happy to help me carry the machine to my vehicle and allowed me to arrive just before opening, to minimize my risk of running into others. All of that was amazing enough, but then he took the time to explain that my machine had a filter that I didn't know about. Once I got over my embarrassment, he took extra time to make sure I knew where it was and how to change it. Best of all? My vacuum works better than it did when I got it. My floors have never looked better. If you need a vacuum, need to fix the one, or need supplies, I cannot recommended A to Z and Hanif highly enough. He genuinely cares that you have the right product at the lowest possible price, and he is clearly very knowledgeable about all his products. Many retail experiences can leave you feeling like you're just a number only worth talking to if you have a lot in your wallet. The warmth and friendliness at A to Z is a nice change. And, it was comforting to deal with someone who clearly takes my safety as seriously as I do. I won't be going anywhere else but there in future. 11/10 Highly recommend.

Our dryer started appearing to be off balance even when empty. I did some research and it would be well under $3K to buy a completely new washer & dryer ... No worries for another 15 years. My wife talked me into trying a repair. All the top guys in Calgary had so few reviews that I just called Stampede as they were listed in Stewart Green (West hills). I called Rick where he scheduled between 9&11 the next day. He arrived on time (Covid prepared) and completely reviewed repairs and pricing once he got to the problem. The price was reasonable and parts were in his van. An hour later the dryer was fixed and the repair price very reasonable. I would highly recommend Stampede Appliance Service

Am I ever glad I went with Appliance Masters! Eugene responded with his quote for labour, and also included in the initial response, his opinion on the two things that were likely the issue. Right off the bat he quoted on the heating element, both from factory or generic, and did not try to up sell me at all, but rather was proactive and brought the generic piece with him, anticipating that was going to be my preference, which it was. He showed up within the window he gave, was very polite and professional and immediately asked me if I wanted him to wear a mask before he even came inside. He got to work quickly and efficiently and now I have a working dryer, and a 100% go to guy for the next fix! Thanks Eugene!

It is SO nice to have a repair person come and actually be honest! So this company seemed really busy, spelled my name wrong, address was wrong, etc, I was annoyed, but stuck with them and was so glad i did. When the repair man (Bibi) came, he said the $80 consultation visit/fee would come off the final bill, and it did! We needed a new door-button, but because the appliance is ten years old, he had to find a whole new "face" to fit the button. so he searched, found it, put it in, and it cost $220 for two visits and the new part. To find the problem he checked out all the electrical stuff, he said the dryer was still in good condition, which was nice to hear, as we don't use it much. Bibi seemed friendly and skilled, I would use them again.
