Peter was very helpful about my repair, and so honest, telling me lots of information from his wealth of knowledge. He answered after hours and could have booked me in for an appointment and charged me, but told me the truth about the age and nature of the repair of my range. Due to the age 9 years old and lack of availability of parts, and what the cost could be to repair it, he suggested getting a new one which we did. It's rare to find somebody so honest to give their time and consideration of another person who they don't even know let alone, not charging any money. Came to fix a leaky dishwasher. A little late but he phoned and also explained he had family in hospital. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Dishwasher was beyond repair but I would have had no way of knowing that. He walked me through the various problems and said he could fix it, but I would be throwing good money after bad. I appreciated his honesty. Was clean and dressed appropriately. No hassle with making payment. And he recommended where I could get a new dishwasher from and pointed to some unusual aspects of my old installation that might cause problems with the next install. My Fridge broke down and I was going through the phone book and also looking for someone to fix it online. I came across this company Allkind appliances I phoned to book a appoinment to have him come out and look at my fridge and to try and figure out what was going wrong with it. From what he was telling me he sounded like he knew what he was talking and was very knowledgeable about different applaince's. Peter was very quick to respond to my message, and he was able to come by the same week to take a look at two appliances. He was very honest about their state and the cost-effectiveness of fixing them, and he also pointed out a few things that I needed to fix around them, and how to do them myself (i.e. the pipe fittings on the taps for the washing machine were corroded). In addition, Peter offered tips on good brands to buy and their pros and cons, which helped a lot as my appliances were simply too old to salvage. Excellent, honest advice! Allkind repaired our 10 year old dryer and it ran for another 8 years. I appreciate their honesty and excellent workmanship. When we had them inspect a fridge at the time, they told us it would be better to buy a new one. I had a great experience will Allkind, Peter tried everything to save us the cost of a replacement pump (on our front load washer). In the end it had to be done and he came prepared with the part. He was on time and professional and took the time to give me advise on how to properly clean the washer to help prevent future problems.
