If you've been defrauded by Critical Control, please contact me--my lawyer is ready to assist on a contingency basis. Critical Control started work on my property without authorization, billed for fake charges (e.g., $150 for gas for a 45-minute drive), and attempted to charge me 14 times (not a typo) more than a reputable contractor who completed the work after I caught onto their behavior. They also manipulate reviews by maintaining a second Yelp page (https://www.yelp.com/biz/critical-control-santa-rosa-2) to hide negative feedback, a clear attempt to mislead potential customers. I've never had to use a Water Restoration service before so I browsed trusty Yelp and reached out to Fire & Water Damage. Glad fellow Yelp friend Karen W gave a glowing review! They seem to answer calls 24/7 and I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. Mike was main point of contact and gave us an estimate and scope of work. Basically, they had to tear out the drywall and insulation from the wet area, dry and dehumidify the area for days, and then put on moon suits and remove any mold. We were able to have 2 techs come on a Friday and then let the dehumidifier run over the weekend. We also had to tear out our upper cabinet since the top was damaged by water. On Monday, they came back to remove any leftover mode and patch things up. The total price came in well below the estimate, which is a huge plus. Very happy with the service and efficiency. If you ever suspect you have water damage from leaks, call these guys and get the problem resolved to ensure mold doesn't form or worst, spread. Note that their services are purely restorative - they'll dry out the water-damaged area and get rid of all the mold. You'll need to hire a plumber first to stop the leaks and then afterwards, a drywall contractor to patch up the holes with insulation and new drywall followed by texturing and painting.

Their professional demeanor and calm made you feel they were taking care of everything and things would turn out ok. The team provides an invaluable service in times of crisis. Since we're living in the house during the renovation, the delay was especially stressful--we really couldn't afford to wait weeks to get the issue resolved. I called over 10 asbestos companies. A few returned my calls, I received one estimate, but everyone else said they couldn't come out for several weeks. Then I reached out to Eisen Environmental, and Dan responded quickly. He gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone and took the time to explain the project and asbestos removal process in detail. I really appreciated this because I wasn't familiar with asbestos remediation and had a lot of questions. We felt comfortable moving forward and signed the contract that same night. The crew came out the very next business day and even showed up early so they could get started on time. They removed 12 HVAC boots with very minimal damage to the walls. I was expecting much worse, so I was extremely impressed with how carefully they handled the work. My kids and I also had to stay out until they finished. Dan and the project manager called me the moment our home was safe to return after the negative air clearance test. Thank you! From the initial response to the completion of the job, Eisen Environmental was professional, punctual, responsive, and efficient. Most importantly, they helped us get our renovation moving again much faster than we expected. I'm very happy with their service and would definitely recommend Eisen Environmental to anyone dealing with asbestos removal. Great job, Dan and team!
