Go to the doctor in June to get a physical which included a hearing test to leave all scared and confused .My wonderful doctor at Rockville medical sent me to an office next-door to get I'm more comprehensive hearing test. I get the test I failed then was required to get an MRI.My doctor recommends Ent and this was the best decision I ever made as I was trying to figure out why this was happening ! I met with Dr. Jay Rechtweg and Audiologist Nicole Trupo . Why am I giving this review please note **** I had first met the doctor and audiologist but due to my insurance my hearing aids were not covered therefore The wonderful audiologist help me find another office. I ended up going to HEARUSA : 1-Took me forever to get an appointment. 2-it took longer to fill out the paperwork then to see the audiologist. 3-A strange Interaction to say the least as I explained to the audiologist what wonderful people took care of me at Ent and she was a disgruntled ex-employee. Which was basically What I was told at my appointment. I wasn't explained the process and I wasn't really told what the options over at my future would look like having to get hearing aids. I ran so fast out of there and I never turned back. As soon as I walked out the office I made an appointment with Ent. From the moment I met the doctor time was never an issue and he explained to me what was going on and why it was going on. He made me feel at ease and before going to any doctor I had done my research and I had so many questions. To make me feel at ease Dr. Jay Rechtweg spoke to me at the office and spoke to my mom on the phone. He really has bedside manner.Is one of the most professional and caring Dr. I have ever met and I've had a lot of health issues and not all doctors have been great in the past so I highly recommend him. After speaking to the doctor he had explain to me thoroughly what the next step would be so I felt confident going into my appointment Audiologist Nicole Trupo. She was very caring very understanding and she also help me find another office when insurance was an issue and then only made sense that I come back to Ent. She practices the same philosophy as a doctor very knowledgeable very patient explain to me everything when I was nervous and had so many questions and after going to another office I was scared I wasn't gonna get an appointment right away and she was able to fit me in the week after. If you're looking for professionals who care about their patients look no further. I will also say that one of the most important things to any medical office is the front staff and they are always super knowledgeable, polite and professional and no matter when you call there's always someone to return your phone call. Visits to Sakina are not only very professional, but warm and friendly too. She has this wonderful nature about her and is interested in me, and what else could be going on in my life, that is making my body behave in a particular way. Sakina's approach is completely holistic, treating the body as a whole, not treating the problem, or putting a band aid on it. I called this morning, and I get transferred to the actual office in Garden City and I explained what happened, obviously unaware that the receptionist wasn't aware of the situation, so she asks me my name but you can tell she was annoyed. The reason why my daughter was in need of a new allergist is that her old allergist is now out of network with my insurance company. I found this place online and thought I give it a chance since they had 2 locations, one in Westbury and another in Commack, both locations are very convenient for me, I figured why not give them a chance, what can possibly go wrong. We went to the Westbury location this morning, we downloaded the forms we needed from online and I had all of that filled out by the time we got there. The office is located inside the MagnaCare building. The waiting room is small but they have a little toy to keep the kids occupied. The receptionist are amazing, and very friendly, actually all the staff we came into contact today was great. This is not only a pediatric Allergist, they see adults as well. And I did see 2 pediatric rooms. The one room my daughter had, had books and a few toys that kept my daughter occupied. My 3 years old daughter has been suffering from a chronic cough for the past few months and I have taken her to many specialist and no one has been able to get to the bottom of this chronic cough. We first saw the nurse who took her weight, height, and oxygen level, we was then taking to our room and waiting for the doctor. Dr Kreiner walked in and she was very professional and great with my daughter, her bedside manner was excellent. We have been to a few specialist and they wanted to just put my daughter on meds for Asthma which she doesn't have. Not Dr Kreiner, she asked a series of questions and explained certain things to me and actually got to the bottom of what might be cause of her cough. She went a different approach from the other Allergist and I was very satisfied. My daughter loved her. I will definitely keep my review updated, but I do recommend her based off this one visit.
