This Ace had some three and four foot pieces but not a six foot or a custom 15 inch for the pantry. The folks here at the Lantana Ace were very helpful and even walked back with me to check availability. Ace and Lowe's are my go to hardware retailers as they honor Veterans (and mean it!)

This time my husband needed some bug spray and a couple other items. The store itself is well stocked -- packed actually. They had exactly what my husband needed and at a decent price. And checking out was fairly fast considering they were a bit busy. The problem here is that it's not easy to get in and out of and the parking lot is narrow. There's a lot of traffic on the main street so heading out takes a bit of patience. The hardest thing was trying to back out with some of the trucks parked behind us. They were so long that there wasn't enough space, so it required maneuvering back and forth several times. I'm sure we'd return if in the area.

I was actually escorted to the section I needed. And some different options were explained. I needed some silver polish. To my surprise they had a plethora of options in a variety of forms and brands. After looking them over, I chose the one closest to what I was replacing. Check out was a delight, as well. Easy, fast and friendly. I'd definitely come back here if I needed anything in this category. You can't miss the store on the east side of US 1 as it's got a big hammer out front!

I made a few calls around and everyone directed me to here. I drive into the tight parking lot. Get my mask on and enter a very tight and busy establishment. The protective barriers are up for the cashier but there's also someone on the floor helping staff. Can't see anyone's mouths but everyone seems to be smiling with eyes and directs me to the corner slot. Man comes out and greats me. Gets the measurements for the screen and quickly writes me up. (Them make frames and also do screen repair.) I enter a line to pay. I'm in and out in under 15 minutes with a receipt and ETA of when project should be complete. A few days before this ETA I'm in the area so I decide to check on progress. Customer service was just as pleasant on the phone as it had been a few days prior in store. Around lunch time of the day screen was to be complete I get a pleasant call to telling me the items are ready and the opening hours of the store. Pick up is just as smoothly. Ace Hardware gave me A1 service. Pleasantly siting in living room looking as a grey sky storm blows in a nice breeze. But I'm not worried about mosquitoes or lizards.

I drove there, walked in, and politely asked if I can get some keys cut. Was told in no uncertain terms by the attendant they can't do it. Blink. Blink. He stared at me but offered no other response, no smile, no apology. Just a lot of poor attitude. I asked why they cannot get the key and was told they don't have the blanks In simple terms, if you can't offer service then don't advertise that you offer service. If you run out of stock, say so and graciously apologize. I understand that it happens. But an offer of snarly attitude is unacceptable. Needless to say, a lousy retail experience.
