My condition deteriorated. I stopped taking the pharmaceuticals that are meant to be taken until death and offered no hope for recovery. Eventually, I decided to visit Elaine and take a different path. Elaine noticed my positive Lyme tests and she said let's go after that first. We did. It's a long road but there is improvement and hope. Elaine takes the time, listens and makes appropriate suggestions. Elaine hardy, MS, RN, APN, C; is not just an amazing medical professional, she is one of those caring and intuitive physicians from a bygone era. It used to be when you walked into a doctor's office, they had more than HMO training, more than just the ability to follow HMO rules and regulations, there used to be doctors who actually had knowledge and were intuitive about your body and condition. You will find this once again Elaine. Over eight years ago, after having gone to a myriad of doctors and specialist, all of which were baffled by my condition, it was Elaine who was finally able to pin-point my issues and begin to help me work through them. By the time I had reached her, I was in fairly bad shape, unable to walk on my own and had a lump in my breast, most doctors were penciling in the death certificate but Elaine took a far more positive approach. She worked with my family to help us develop a treatment protocol which centered around my desire to stay as holistic as possible. She was sensitive to my desire to treat the cancer holistically and supported my decision, even though at times, I knew she was concerned. Elaine did not lecture me or try to force me into anything I was not comfortable in doing. Instead, she would lay out the options to my family and allowed us to make the decision that best suited my body. Elaine then supported us throughout our chosen treatment protocol. I still have clean cancer numbers 4 1/2 years after having a 3 1/2 pound, triple-negative tumor removed in a mastectomy. When most doctors didn't think I'd make it off the surgery table, Elaine stayed supportive of our family. In the end, I survived the cancer. I am still dealing with the severe neurological disease that put me in a wheelchair as a paraplegic but even in what seems like a dead-end condition, we are seeing small steps forward. Elaine worked with all my illnesses from the beginning, helping me to find ways to deal with the pain, looking for new treatment methods when the old ones weren't working and giving me hope for the future. She never gives up on you, she just keeps on working to find the answers. Her knowledge is amazing and she is willing to think 'outside the box' in trying to find the root cause of your issues instead of treating symptoms, something that is difficult to find in the medial field these days. She looks for the layers that so often are involved in illness instead of a short-cut version that usually keeps one feeling...just good enough, instead of great! After seeing literally dozens of specialist, I have never met another medical professional that I hold in as high of esteem as I do Elaine. No matter where we are in the country, we find our way back to Elaine. That all changed once a friend recommended Dr. Merkle. I've only seen Dr. Merkle himself a few times during visits, as I usually see his Physician's Assistants or Nurse Practitioners (either Donna or Beth), but they are always on point and extremely helpful. I never have an issue getting an appointment (even same day!), and the whole office and staff are just wonderful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Merkle and his team if you are in the market for a primary care physician.

Our last scheduled appointment he never showed and stated that he had a heart attack patient in his in-person office, never rescheduled and has refused to respond back to myself, the Sesame team, and New York life who was supposed to be approving my leave of absence from work that Dr. Vaneet suggested. At this point I'm not even sure if I was supposed to have one because in addition to not filling out the paperwork properly he sent me documents with someone else's information on it twice. I am completely disheartened and disappointed in this experience because due to his negligence and lack of communication, I did not get paid while on the leave he recommended and have now lost my job because there was no paperwork turned in from him stating the reason that I needed leave. He needs to be removed from the Sesame platform immediately. This has impacted my mental health much worse than I was before. I pray for the others who have been neglected as well.

They literally have 1 doctor who is incredibly sketchy at best 3. They make appointments and keep you waiting for 2 hours past the appointment time and show no remorse stating that they only have 1 doctor 4. They are rude, disrespectful and do NOT care about you as a patient. 5. She not only cares about your gyn issues, she cares about your entire body, right down to the psychological aspect. I have been seeing Nona for years now after switching from my children's pediatrician's because they were not as good as Nona for my children. When she first saw them she spoke to them from seatbelts to gyn issues in the future. Nona has literally saved my life when I was misdiagnosed by a gynecologist in the past. She was able to diagnose something that the previous gyn missed. I would be dead if it weren't for her. I dread the fact that she will retire some day, but she will well deserve it when she does. The gentleman advised me that someone from the office would call back shortly. Today is 9/27/2026 at 12:32 PM and no one returned the call. I went to urgent care and was treated. Highly disappointed, terrible service and unprofessional.
