MY Experience. This…read morereview is not to discourage future customers but simply to voice my frustration and give light to future customer that might come across the same situation. I brought a 90's Padres Jacket for a cleaning service, It already had some wear and tear as show in the first 2 photos and I just wanted a clean up. I was charged the $85 service BEFORE receiving said service and the gentlemen inspected the jacket to review its materials to see if it would be compatible for the service as the use chemical and solutions to clean jackets. I had to sign a paper before leaving it allowing the company to save themselves in a dissatisfied customer situation. The quote was 4-5 days, I waited a week. Finally got the call today and was shown my jacket and god this is not the SAME jacket. It was basically frickin destroyed?! The guy started explaining what had happened and that my jacket turned out to be synthetic leather and that those kinds of jackets don't do well in the cleaning service. My first thought is: IF YOU KNEW THIS WAS SYNTHETIC WHY NOT VOICE THAT, IF YOU KNEW IT WOULD NO DO WELL IN THE CLEANING WHY NOT HIGHLY OPPOSE IT??? IF YOU SAW DURING THE PROCESS IT WAS DOING MORE HARM THEN GOOD WHY NOT CALL THE CUSTOMER FOR A FINAL APPROVAL??? I didn't say a word, just thank you and have a nice day. In all honesty I am completely frustrated, this jacket isn't one you can find at your nearest store, it can't be easily found on the internet it's a rare jacket and I was really excited to wear it. The guy at the countered joked talking about how crunchy it came out and that "he didn't even want to fold it because it might rip and tear more??" I will take some accountability, it's my first time with this kind of jacket and I am personally not too educated on leather jackets but if i'm going to leather shop and I was asking question prior... EDUCATE ME BIG BROOO LIKE WTF?! anywho i'm done. But I recently submitted to Yelp to have the name adjusted here so others can find out about Emy's as well (Fellow yarn crafters may be missing out if they're unable to find about this shop thru Yelp!). We met one of the owners, Meyer. He was such a sweet guy, very knowledgeable, huge help in answering my wife's questions about crocheting and yarn types. He also gave me a tour of the whole shop, even the Border Leather section, while my wife made her selections. It's honestly an awesome shop to grab materials for all of your knitting, tufting, or crocheting needs. It might even be San Diego's BEST spot for yarn. Cotton, acrylics, wool, mohair + various blends. I've seen colors and brands here that I have never seen before in person and just talking a stroll around the shop got my creative juices flowing for other projects I want to take on. Meyer also explained that his wife will always test out the yarns they sell to ensure they are selling the best products. Price-wise it's actually very reasonable. For the quality of yarns they have, the variety, AND the ability to see and feel the material in person makes for a confident purchase. Yarn balls can range from comparable to other stores (around $4-$15) to the higher end for some of the more luxury materials like silk mohair or wool ($20+). Supporting a family business is the cherry on top to finding the materials I need. I want to spend more time looking at the leather products they have. From what I saw, everything was well-made and looked incredibly high quality. Will be back!

The damage was an L shaped tear on the back cushion and wear and tear on the bolster of the driver's seat. Following instructions, the repair looked great. This is a hobby car and used maybe a couple of thousand miles/year. I noticed this summer both areas were tearing apart, and now they both look like they did before restoration. The repair compound has completely come loose. Very disappointed in the long term results. One positive is the color match is great: after dying, the seats looked terrific. I have ended up getting some seat covers for the car. I would not recommend this kit for long term use

Also, a number of pillows and cushions to choose from. They also have a reupholster office! The young man who helped me was great! Cut the fabric like butter and rolled it up on a tube. After he cut some foam for me, he tied them up so it was easy for me to carry. Oh, and make sure you look at the fabric that is on sale. Lots of good buys back there! The only think that was challenging was being able to pay through my school, which might have been also an issue with my district. Other than that, the staff is really friendly and I look forward to coming back!

I brought the bag in and we looked at what the issue was.. the thread was coming undone where the strap was being secured to the bag.. we agreed to put in a single black rivet on each side to match and secure the strap.. told me it'd be about 15 minutes. I came back and he put in three on each side which was a bit strange.. I noticed they were uneven and they even scratched the front of the bag under the flap.. talked to him about that then he apologized and tried to buff it out.. paid the man and walked out because I was already upset about the quality of work done.. on the way out noticed that he actually spliced the leather on the side right where the stitching was coming undone so now it's even worse than before because that entire piece of leather is no longer securing the strap.. almost the same exact issue I came in to solve but worse because he would have to fully take it apart to fix it.. seems sneaky to me.. just felt like they were trying to get more money out of me and the job he did do was very inadequate .. definitely no pride in their craftsmanship... got my money back and said I was going somewhere else! very upset because I'd like to regularly support local businesses... went in there based on the great reviews they had specifically about their craftsmanship no matter how small the job. makes you think about going to bigger companies with actual standards... if zero was an option, I'd put that instead..
