This place knows what they are doing! Staff knows there stuff and it's straight business. You know…read moreyou're going to buy tires so don't come in expecting to come out cheep. You get what you pay for. Best kept secret is. They do FREE tire repair. If they can patch a nail or small gash in the tred then they can fast and free of change. This is my go to place for winter tire / summer tire rotation. It's 88$ and you can just drop your car off! No apt needed.

First, I have to SHOUT FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOP THAT JOCELYN DEBOLT HAS MADE ME A CUSTOMER FOR *LIFE*…read more(so Discount Tire better keep her around) I'm on a really tight budget at the moment. Needed some tires I had picked up off Marketplace put on the rear of my dually truck (cords were coming through and nearly bald on the outer tires) and had no idea where I could go to do this because I thought the tire shops would only help you if you purchased tires from them. A friend told me I had to go see Jocelyn at Discount Tire in Burnsville. She not only had compassion for my current situation ~ she went above and beyond for me. I was humbled by her kindness and amazing customer service skills. I ideally would've loved to put all new tires on the truck since I pull a 5th wheel, but she never once pressured or tried to upsell a thing. Truck was ready to roll within an hour and when I'm back on my feet you can BET I'm going to see Jocelyn for all new tires for the truck & will refer everyone to this location to see her! THANK YOU!!!

Our local tire shop ordered 4 new tires for our RV from Pomp's Tire Service in Savage Minnesota,…read moreover a week ago. The first "guaranteed" delivery date of the tires, came and went... NO TIRES. Then, since we were scheduled to leave town on a specific date, Pomp's GUARANTEED that they would express ship the tires to us by Wednesday on the Speedee delivery truck. The Speedee usually delivers to our shop by noon - so when the tires did not arrive - a phone call to Pomp's again "GUARANTEED" that the tires were on the delivery truck! Yep - NO TIRES! Apparently - they did not get shipped even - because a manager took the tires off of the express shipping as it would be "too expensive"... So - still no tires - however, we are GUARANTEED AGAIN - that they will arrive Thursday morning at 7:30am... Well, if I had to do it over again - there would not have been this other chance even given to them (but, you know how it is when your husband deals with the automotive place...always a bit too nice!) Needless to say - THE TIRES STILL DID NOT ARRIVE! You have got to be kidding me! For a company to KNOW that they messed up - for an account that orders many tires from them all the time - and to treat them like this. I would expect more from a company to make the "bad situation" end up right. Around every corner - they made it worse, and worse. At least if they would have said they just can't get the tires to us AT ALL, we could have had them days earlier from another supplier. Now, our vacation will be delayed - as the RV sat in the shop with the tires off - waiting for the new tires to arrive so they could be quickly put on. We were supposed to leave early Friday morning - but will only get the RV with the new tires back now on Thursday afternoon. Have you ever packed a motor home? It takes a bit of time. It wouldn't be so bad if this trip was just a standard family vacation - but it is a business trip as well - so I HAVE to be in a certain location, by a certain date. NOT COOL! I would ask your local mechanic if they use Pomp's and ask for a different service to be used if they do!

Update: The shop has resolved this matter to my satisfaction. In hindsight, I am confident that…read moreGeico was the bad actor in this situation. I no longer use Geico but I still trust this shop because of their honesty and transparency. The management here cares about its customers. ------------------------------------------- I had damage to my headlight mount and took my car here as part of an insurance claim. I would have never gotten this repair done because the estimate from Geico (that I provided the shop) was 1147, for something I would have just ducked taped had I not thought I would only be on the hook for my $500 deductible. I send the shop my estimate from Geico, they tell me they'll work with Geico if anything doesn't add up correctly. The part turns out to be on back order and arrives 3 weeks later, I take my car in, a few hours later I pick my car up with a bill for $1930. By this time, Geico had already sent me a check based on their estimate. Geico says the shop over charged me on both parts and labor. The part should have been just over $1000 but the shop charged me $1461, and labor in the area averages $65/hour but this shop charges $145/hour. Geico is refusing to do anything about it and the shop, as of now, is going with "these are our rates, we are a business, blah blah." Shame on me for not doing my homework. I trusted this shop as I had brought my car here many times for regular maintenance but I was clearly gouged and very disappointed with my experience.

Despite multiple…read morevisits to correct, they simply couldn't seem to get the tires installed on the wheels correctly. Plus they tried to upsell $$$$$ on repairs suggestions unrelated to tires. We're getting 4 new tires for son's car but We'll be going somewhere else now for our tire needs.

I needed some…read morework done on my Mazda, and they first told me all that I needed was around 100$ of work(although I was expecting 400$ for the work that needed to be done), but they told me it looked like the entire sensor on the tire didn't need to be replaced. Once I came in for the appt and they started working on it, it appeared that the entire sensor did need to be replaced. So yes it was news I didn't want to hear when I initially was planning on spending 100 bucks but they ended up giving me a good deal (much better than I thought). They really didn't even need to give me any discount but because of the confusion they did. I really appreciated that! Also, the service guy came out and let me know multiple times that they were close to finishing and where they were at which is nice considering most places just let you sit in the lobby for however long until its done. Thanks!

I went to Valvoline for an oil change. They were putting air in the tires and the back two tires…read morewouldn't except air. They told me the tire stems needed to be replaced. The guy said he had the same thing happen and took his vehicle to Discount tires, they replaced it for free! He told me where two different Discount Tires were. He added that he hadn't even bought his tires there and they did it for FREE! I thought I'd go to Tires Plus, because that's where I bought them. BIG MISTAKE for an older lady like me! They replaced the two stems--$40!! Then the guy told me my wipers were shot and needed to be replaced. I told him they were all brand new. (Two had been purchased two weeks prior and the third I had just bought at Valvoline the night before!) He shrugged his shoulders and gave me a smirk! He said my oil filter needed to be replaced. The night before, the guy at Valvoline SHOWED me the filter and said it had a lot of life left! Oh! And and he said the tires were all in bad shape! My tires are fine. I found out another place charges $3 a piece for the same thing. Quite a difference! I believe it's because I'm an old lady and he figured I wouldn't know of other deals' around town. So buyer BEWARE if you are older and female! I will NEVER go back there. And so sorry I ever bought tires from them in the first place when they don't back them up!
