I had been seen in another urgent care center earlier in the day where medical staff failed to treat properly. Actually they didn't even diagnose anything and wouldn't give antibiotics without running a rona test. Seriously. Told me to gargle with salt water. This team at Mercy Health, adhered to my symptomology, looked at my medical history and went to work. Diagnosis: bilateral ear infections and a sinusitis. I was given appropriate antibiotics without the propaganda. Hands down exactly the treatment I required! Very nice facility. Staff very professional. Fever broke within 24 hours of taking antibiotiocs and only slight pressure in one ear. Highly recommend!!!!

She was so great right from the first appointment I met her. I ended up going a bit overdue and I went into labor in the middle of the night. Another doctor was on call during the night, but since I was ready to push so close to his shift ending Dr. Dewitt came in early to deliver my baby! She was such a great coach for my natural delivery. The nurses were all amazing too. During the delivery she was so positive and encouraging. They were so great with everything. I was also nervous about a tongue tie with my baby (I had major nursing problems from a tongue tie with my first) and the pediatrician took care of it in the hospital. I never have to wait long, I am not rushed through my appointment, although, let me say, that I don't sit and waste the doctors time with a bunch of small talk - keeping in mind that there are other people waiting. I haven't had to sit in the waiting room for any long period of time. I am always met with a welcoming atmosphere. Most importantly, I want doctors who keep up with current methods and research - and I find that to be the case at this practice. Years ago I moved about 50 miles from this practice, but I still drive down because the care is excellent on all levels - from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave.

Then I had something happen while vacationing that confirmed that I had the access to the best care in West Michigan through this office. After falling on a rock and doing serious tissue and muscle damage as well as exposure to unknown pathogens I had to fly 17 hours back to GR arriving on a Sunday and waited to call Dr McCorry's office Monday morning. He asked me to come in immediately and gave me the medical attention my situation required to head off infections and further damage due to potential blood clots. They began a comprehensive treatment plan that found me seeing the specialists that could diagnose and treat my wounds and carefully monitored my progress over several weeks. It is my belief that without that continued support and immediate care my situation could have easily resulted in nerve damage and serious infections. Don't let the smaller size of the office influence your decision about this practice. They're hardwired into west Michigan's best available medical resources!
