My husband stumbled upon Frix Appliance Repair while trying to find someone to repair our 30 year…read moreold (unbeknownst to us) washer. My late father, Rev. Homer Printup, was an appliance repairman; so, we haven't really had a need to call anyone else. Mr. Frix called as we were told he would and provided a timeframe for when he would be arriving at our home. He was very courteous and friendly. Although his purpose for coming was to repair the washer, the knowledge and wisdom he left us with about other appliances in our home were priceless. I even suggested that he hold classes to share his knowledge. We're very appreciative of Mr. Frix's time and attention given to us, and we highly recommend his business for anyone in need of appliance repair. God bless you, Mr. Frix.

Unless you're buying that day and taking it home, don't bother dealing with AF…read more You'll end up waiting weeks for a refund "from corporate" - that's if they're willing to refund on an item at all. They discontinued part of our layaway without having a comparable item to replace it, and we were pretty much forced to keep the other items in our layaway since they weren't willing to refund on items they could still get for us. The folks are nice for the most part, but the company's practices are shady.

I bought it took it home and it did not fit my full frame or the area on the wall. I called them and told they had mistakenly sold me a queen. I was then told that all of there full headboards were actually queens that would fit a full or queen. I said that's not what I was told to which he replied I wish I could help you but we don't even have a return policy. Follow up comment- Rebecca , The store manger was the person who stated that there was no return policy and that he could not help me. Although I was sold the item under false pretense so for the sake of all those who may be reading this you can help by stating your companies return policy under such circumstances .

Great service, free delivery and well just outstanding customer service with people who care! We continue to buy our appliances from them and in fact just purchased a matching GE washer and dryer in Dec 2025. Three weeks into using the dryer it stopped heating. We checked the breakers etc and called GE Service who was NOT OPEN today. We called Garrisons and spoke with WES. He gave us several suggestions as to what to check, no luck. Later today he came out to our home and checked the 240-line, plug, timer settings, and finally opened up the dryer to find the heating WIRE had come loose and no longer attached. Wes reattached the wire and reassembled the dryer. It now once again works like a charm and as expected. You will NOT get this kind of service at any BIG BOX store and once again KUDOS to Garrisons They are local give not only great service but outstanding customer service.. something we will always pay for and support local businesses. Yes we will continue to use them as needed for all our furniture and appliance needs ... give them a try .

Woodstock furniture outlet had 3 sofas I liked all of which can be purchased at Garrison's. In addition, WF charges for delivery.
