Dr. Kim's work immediately stood out to me, and at one point I realized that almost all of my inspiration photos were actually from his Instagram. That was when I knew it made more sense to travel to the surgeon whose work already matched exactly what I wanted. I started with an online consultation, then traveled for an in-person consultation, and eventually had surgery with him. From start to finish, Dr. Kim was absolutely fantastic. I had a very specific vision in my head: I wanted a fuller chest that still looked natural on my frame and could almost feel modest at the same time. I was very nervous about ending up too large or looking overly augmented, and he understood exactly what I meant. I am now 10 months post-op and I genuinely could not be happier. He got what I wanted to a T. The size, shape, and overall look feel completely right for me, and I'm so grateful I trusted his judgment. One of the things that made the experience especially reassuring as an out-of-town patient was how personally involved he is in the entire process. He handles everything from beginning to end, and he is the person I communicate with directly. He provides his phone number and email, answers questions incredibly quickly, and continues to follow up with me regularly even this far out from surgery. I never felt like I was being passed around or forgotten once the procedure was over. I trust Dr. Kim and his work completely. Traveling from Las Vegas required extra time, planning, and money, but I do not regret any of it. It was worth every single cent to go to the surgeon whose aesthetic I trusted and who made me feel taken care of throughout the entire process.

I was really terrified all my life of plastic surgery and when I was researching doctors it was…read moreeven worse because every time I spoke to an office I always felt like an agenda was being pushed or these crazy unbelievable results were being heavily pushed towards me. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. Thank you Dr Kim and team :')

I inquired through the website about the procedure I'm interested in, and they responded quickly. Barbie is excellent; she answered my questions, scheduled my appointment with the doctor right away, and provided the quote with all the details. At my first visit, Barbie welcomed me immediately, and she's just lovely. I truly feel taken care of. She took me to her office and introduced me to Dr. Jimmy Firouz. Dr. Firouz is amazing; he listens to every concern and question I have. What I like most is that he wasn't pushy about sales. I have some specific areas I'm concerned about, like buccal fat removal and nasolabial folds. Still, he told me, "No, you don't need that, but if it bothers you, there's another alternative"--something I appreciate the most. Long story short, I decided to move forward with Dr. Firouz. Every time I visit his office, he reassures me that I'm in good hands and tells me not to worry because this is a very important decision for me. It's my first time having such major procedures, so I truly value his reassurance. The location is very convenient, right in the city center. Parking is also free for an hour--I believe it's in the next building, not the one Dr. Jimmy is in. They also accept cash and credit cards with no 3% fee, plus payment plans.

From the moment I arrived, the entire consultation felt surprisingly impersonal. Most of my appointment was spent with very young staff members rather than the surgeon himself. By the time I actually met with Dr. Barrett, it was only for about five minutes. He was pleasant and professional, but the entire experience felt rushed and transactional. I left almost feeling like it was a fever dream, it was over so quickly that I walked away confused instead of confident. The biggest disappointment was being told that the only way I would have a good breast augmentation result was with a lollipop lift and implants. I wasn't told this as an option it was presented as essentially the only option that would look good for my anatomy. I left feeling discouraged and thinking I didn't really have a choice. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and scheduled consultations with other highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeons. Every other surgeon had a different perspective. I ultimately chose another extremely reputable surgeon who recommended Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle (subfascial). He explained that because I had only mild pseudo-ptosis, the implant itself would provide the subtle lift and upper-pole fullness I was looking for without requiring a lollipop lift. I'm now on the other side of surgery, and I could not be happier with my results. I got exactly the look I wanted, avoided unnecessary scars, and didn't need the more invasive procedure I had been told was my only option. To be clear, I don't think Dr. Barrett was unkind. He was nice during the brief time we spoke. My issue was that the consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and left me feeling defeated rather than educated. Looking back, I'm so grateful I sought additional opinions before making such an important decision. My biggest advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is this: please get multiple consultations. One surgeon's opinion is not always the only answer. I'm incredibly thankful I kept looking because I'm absolutely thrilled with the surgeon I chose and my results.

Even at just three weeks post-op, my incision lines are beautiful. My tummy tuck scar is low enough to stay hidden and is incredibly precise. His attention to detail is remarkable. My belly button is small and natural-looking rather than the obvious post-tummy tuck look you see. Because I had significant excess skin on my back, Dr. Kohan extended the breast lift to address that area as well. Dr. Kohan is not just a surgeon, he's an artist. I trust him completely, and I'm so glad I chose him! Dr. Emil Kohan - Surgical Mastermind Beyond being a highly skilled surgeon, Dr. Kohan is one of the kindest surgeons I've ever met. Surgeons are not always known for their warm bedside manner, but Dr. Kohan genuinely cares about his patients. At my pre-op appointment, he carefully marked my body and explained exactly what he planned to do. The process was interactive, and he welcomed all of my questions. After surgery, he personally checked on me in recovery and gave me two phone numbers where I could reach him directly if I had any concerns. I didn't need to reach him, but I know if I had to utilize the numbers he would have responded ASAP. I've seen him weekly since surgery, and every visit reinforces how knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate he is. I truly trust him with my life! Myria - Surgery Coordinator Extraordinaire Myria is the surgery coordinator, but she's also the heart and mom of the office. From the moment I submitted my consultation request through my recovery, she has been there every step of the way. Even three weeks post-op, I still text her questions almost daily. She goes above and beyond, even responding to me during the evenings and/or weekends. I live out of town, so I initially chose a virtual consultation. Myria had Dr. Kohan review my photos and coordinated everything. Their consultations were free, which was nice after spending hundreds of dollars on consultations with other surgeons I ultimately didn't choose. As a massive weight loss patient, I had heard many differing opinions from other surgeons. Myria patiently explained why Dr. Kohan recommended certain procedures over others. Most of our communication is done by text, which I love because I hate phone calls. Once my surgical plan was finalized and financing was in place, I paid my deposit and had surgery two weeks later. You're not required to have surgery so soon, that's just what worked best for me! Myria is a tiny but mighty powerhouse who keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine. She even stayed with me during pre-op, reassuring me that everything would be okay. After I returned home, I struggled to find local hyperbaric oxygen therapy placed and Myria even researched options for me. She is efficient, caring, and incredibly dedicated. Christina - Surgical Nurse Tina was with me before, during, and after surgery. She is incredibly kind and helped keep me calm by chatting with me before the procedure. When I woke up, she was right there asking how I felt. She offered me applesauce, called my family back once I was awake enough, and personally wheeled me to the car. Catherine Although I haven't met Cat in person, she has been incredibly helpful. She handled paperwork for my employer, answered medication questions, called in additional pain medication when needed, and followed up to make sure I was able to obtain my prescriptions once I returned home. Nurse Leslie Leslie has been the nurse at all of my post-op appointments, and she is wonderful. She is kind, patient, and highly knowledgeable. Early in recovery, my stamina was very limited, and when she removed my sutures, she let me take breaks and even let me sit when I felt dizzy while removing the sutures. Tanya - Anesthesiologist She was funny, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I told her that I have severe anxiety about surgery, and she made sure I received medication before we walked to the OR. She also gave me her personal number in case I had medication-related questions. Sophia Sophia is the friendly face who greets you when you arrive. Since I fly in from out of town, she has worked with me to schedule appointments around my flights, which has been incredibly helpful. Final Thoughts Dr. Kohan and his team have exceeded my expectations in every way. Their skill, professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine compassion are unmatched. I had someone there to support me every step of the way and they continue to. It was a very honest post that really calmed me. It even gave me strength. I thought, if she can do it so can I. The staff was so chipper on surgery day. It made me relax. I thought to myself how could I be nervous when this is just a normal Monday for them. You can tell they love being in the OR. I can't wait to see the 3 month post op results. The anesthesiologist told me he was going to give me something to relax then what felt like a few seconds they were waking me up to tell me I was in recovery and the surgery went well! Go figure! I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, breast augmentation, arm and flank lipo. Daria recommended I stay at an aftercare facility for two nights and I am so glad I did. That played a huge role for having such a speedy recovery. I was able to start walking on day two. I also elected for 2 hyperbaric oxygen sessions. Out of all the procedures I would say the breast augmentation was the most challenging because I'm still a little sore. The tummy tuck is a breeze especially if you've had a C section. All in all, I could NOT have achieved this without Dr J and his team. They had to hold my hand for the entire process.
