We had our kitchen redone by Alan Cobb and the cabinet store. We had a very good experience. Kitchen renovations are tough to live through. The Cabinet Store does primarily cabinet install. They recommend contractors for other parts of the kitchen, but you can shop for countertops, plumbers, electricians etc on your own. This worked for me. I recently had my kitchen cabinetry replaced by The Cabinet Store. My wife and I are really pleased with the results. There were a few minor delays but they were right on top of getting things fixed as quickly as they could. We will be calling them in the future when we redo our bathroom next year. read more

Placed order and paid deposit 1/9/18. Was told 4-6 weeks. Didn't do install till mid March. Installer was a man in his 70s, no help, just him. He struggled and complained. I could not believe this was their installer. He attempted clean up after main cabinetry was up. It was a MESS in my house. Saw dust EVERYWHERE. Had to hire housecleaner for one time clean cause it was out of hand. Cabinet trim was not done. Didn't order enough. Was told by Allen 4/2/18 that "I am senile, stuff happens, I didn't order enough" Asked for approx. date expected. He has no idea. He said Molly will know and she's out sick. These are the 2 sickliest people I've ever heard of. They are ALWAYS sick and out of work. So 3 months later, cabinetry still not done and I have no expected date given, and paid in full of course!!.I should have went with other quotes. They were same price. I picked company randomly from the 2 quotes I did get. Hind sight is 20/20. I don't recommend this company. ***UPDATE***4/19/18: Finally came back to finish trim work today. All trim ordered was broken in pieces when Doug (installer) opened the box. Once again, unable to finish. I called Allen (owner) who simply said: "Well we will reorder again. Its not like your kitchen is unusable" THATS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH ANYMORE!!! My kitchen looks like CRAP. Now I have to wait another 4-6weeks AGAIN!!! This is RIDICULOUS!!! I demanded he do something to make this right because his laissez-faire attitude is just not cutting it anymore. He said there was nothing he could do. I said at this point that the only thing he could do to TRY to make this right is offer me some money back. He did not like that idea. He was very short on the phone, raising his voice which caused me to also raise my voice. A good business man does not need to be told how to make things right, right? Right!. So he just said he would think about it. And I hung up the phone. Really??!!! There is nothing to think about!!! A MINIMUM of a 10% refund is in order here....That's the BARE MINIMUM that he should have offered to at least attempt to make this right. The saga remains ongoing....And still not a finished kitchen....3.5 months later!!! I have since read TONS of bad reviews about Allen and his company. Beware before paying for his services. The showroom is nice and pretty, but you cant run a good reputable business with this kind of customer service. I will continue to update... read more

Allen Cobb, operating his business as The Cabinet Store, Inc. in Lithia misrepresents himself as a home remodeler but doesn't hold a general contractor's license, he holds only a business license to install cabinets. He was contracted by us for a complete kitchen and bath remodel. He insisted we pay our total contract price prior to even stepping in our home. After a week of no qualified individuals coming out to fulfill the contract, we had to stop the work and hire licensed contractors ourselves to complete the job. We've had to hire legal representation because Mr. Cobb refuses to refund the portion of funds that were taken without the work being done. Don't use this company!!!! read more

Allen Cobb Interiors was contracted and paid in full to install a new kitchen in my home. The work that was performed was mediocre at best and left unfinished. After months of trying to encourage Allen Cobb to give this project the attention that was paid for I had to finish the project myself. Allen Cobb has been given ample opportunity to make this right including an invoice for approximately 10% of the total cost of the job which if paid will right this wrong and all negative posts will be removed.
