My two kids have been with Allegro since 2008 and patient of Dr. Ginsberg exclusively. We found Dr. Ginsberg after my daughter's birth trauma and Dr. Ginsberg has been nothing but wonderful provider and listener. My now 6-foot-tall son is 19 years old and still see Dr. Ginsberg! Dr. Ginsberg is easily a 5 out of 5 stars provider, she cares about her patients. She treats her patients with so much respect that my two teens/young adult feels so safe with her. The billing department on the other hand is an absolute nightmare. First, the hold time is ridiculous, once connected, keep your fingers crossed that you are dealing with a staff member that is competent and compassionate and LISTENS! We've had some insurance challenges lately and been talking to the insurance company and then relaying messages back to Allegro since March of 2025. Have dealt with Denise, Lexi and Cassandra, all 3 pleasant and tried their best to help. Lisa, on the other hand is rude and incompetent. As another review mentioned, Lisa does not seem to care. From the get-go of her answering the call, she was telling me "Hold hold hold hold!!!!", "oh oh oh hang on", "let's get to one thing", "just answer my question". Then told me "I am putting you on hold" - all in 5 minutes or less. When I responded with "No, you don't even know what my question is", she said "I am putting you on hold anyway". Today, the office manager Radu called to extend their apology and explained that Lisa was perhaps trying to read the notes on my account? Perhaps, but there is certainly a civil way to tell the customer that. Although, based on other reviews mentioning Lisa in particular, this seems like a pattern of the "I just don't care" behavior. An employee represents the company, in the short 5 minutes conversation, Lisa made us feel unwelcome, unvalued. read more

I had an appointment today for my younger daughter's annual check-up follow-up at 1:50 PM, and my elder daughter's appointment was scheduled for 2:10 PM. It's now 2:30 PM, and we are still waiting to see the doctor. I had informed the office in advance that my daughter has swim lessons at 3:30 PM, but they still told me we would have to wait because the doctor is busy with other patients. This delay has been frustrating, especially when managing two kids' appointments back-to-back and other commitments. Timely appointments are important for families, and I hope the clinic can work on improving wait times. read more

We got the Covid vaccine for our daughter (under 12) and we were extremely impressed by the whole process. We were in our minivan when they gave her the shot and it was painless - literally (!!!). A very organized affair. It speaks well for how things are done there. read more

What a JOKE!!! Either they are very incompetent or just lazy. Sent us to the ER for his face being swollen. She said it was full of puss. Went to children's ER and all the Drs said there was no puss and he just needed antibiotics. They seemed confused about why we went to the ER and not the dr office. Dr. Label is one of the best pediatrician. We would recommend her in a heartbeat. She listen to your concerns and answers any questions without any judgement. My husband and I are first time parents and we take her in for any concerns we have and we are able to get a same day appointment at any location that appointments are available. Very incompetent! Tried switching to them from another doctor office, they gave a vaccine at the wrong time so my daughter had to get another one later on! Also, I was pretty sure my daughter had molluscuem contagium and went in saying that, the doctor said it wasn't that and gave us some cortisone cream. I am so shocked that I got charged for my daughter's wellness check. When I called the billing department, I was told that I got charged a fee because I answered the doctor's question during the visit. My daughter had eczema since she's a baby. During the wellness visit, the doctor noticed the rash on her arm and asked if she had eczema. I answered yes and asked the doctor if we need to get prescribed cream for her. The doctor said no, just apply moisturizer often to keep the skin moisturized. For that quick conversation, they end up charging me $72! What a joke! So, going forward, during your wellness visit, do not answer any questions or start a conversation with the doctor. Always ask if this could cost you money. That's the advice that I got from the billing department. Shocked! read more

I just met my daughters pediatrician, Dr. Label. They provide complimentary meet and greets prior to baby's birth. I am 7 months along, and really enjoyed the office and staff. The whole building is clean and colorful inside. I feel very confident and am happy with my choice in this office. Update: we now see Dr. Weigel. She is young, sweet and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed, and she will open up about her daughter to relate to me and my daughter, which is comforting and friendly. The office is clean, and they seem to be running a tight ship because I hardly ever have to wait in the waiting room or patient room. I always use the patient room to nurse my baby after our visit. This gives her time to calm down from shots, and stimulation, as well as keeps her on track for the day. They have had no problem letting me hang out in the room for 30 minutes afterwards to make sure she gets a full feeding and diaper change if needed. read more

The business office and front desk need to improve. Management needs to get a handle and put better service in place to get new patient and to keep patients. I called to schedule a new patient appointment and provided my insurance provider. The front desk insisted I need to call my insurance to verify because "Blue Cross has a lot of different plans." I agreed that they have a lot of plans and asked if providing my plans name, group id, member id, and other contact information would be helpful to confirm. We see doctor Dr.David Reuter for both our children. He and his staff are amazing and we are extremely satisfied with care. Always patient and brings calm to our child problems with solutions. However, billing/business office is a nightmare to deal especially if the claim has issues processing. I had few calls with Lisa from billing department and there is no ownership from her. First she said insurance is not valid and then said system issues. They want me to resolve system issues they are having processing the claim and reasoning is it as my insurance system! She is NOT customer obsessed and should NOT be customer facing. Scheduling is also difficult with lot of wait times. Wish they had an online scheduling system. read more

I'm surprised Allegro has any patients at all, because it is a full time commitment to get an appointment scheduled. They have an online scheduler that has never worked (and even has a note a top saying "some people have trouble with this, so try multiple times then call us). And if you call for an appointment be prepared to stay on the line for a very long time, also with a disclaimer that they "are experiencing high call volume". This has been happening for years before the pandemic, so it's not just the shortage of staff that so many places are currently suffering from. We have been going to Allegro Pediatrics in Bothell for two years now and have had a great experience. Our daughter (now 2 years) and our son (now 2 months) have been seeing Dr. Label. She is an amazing doctor, always has a great attitude and is so good with babies and toddlers. Dr. Label and the rest of the staff have made us feel comfortable and like we are getting the best care. We trust her expertise which is so important to any parent. The office is very nice and extremely clean. They have good Covid protocols in place as well. We have also seen Dr. Ahir and had a great experience with her too. I would recommend Allegro Bothell to any parent. read more

We have been going to Allegro now for 7 years but we are now switching due to the service. I called to make an appointment for the Kirkland office for my daughter, I got there and they said oh your appointment is in Bothell! So we jetted up there. Fine mistakes happen. We got to the wellness appointment and the doctor asked is there anything else going on with your daughter. I said well she has had a rash behind her knees but another doctor prescribed an antifungal and its healing. She said oh that looks like it needs a steroid cream which she prescribed. Took her all of 60 seconds to look at her legs. The charged for the wellness visit PLUS an additional $244 to our insurance which we have to pay $101 of. She never said this wont be covered in your wellness visit. We never even used the $5 cream because it was healed! The total time with the doctor at the appointment was maybe 15 minutes and they charged $490 total to the insurance. I called the billing department and they just schooled my on their fine print. DONT TRUST this office they will bill you extra if they can!!! I am sad to leave her doctor but I won't put up with companies overcharging people any chance they get. read more

I would like to give 5 stars but I just can't at this time. I like them but there are strong reasons to not grade them as 5 stars outstanding. 3 stars to me is average rating. Pros: *close to my home, *has Saturday and Sunday appointments, *tries to get us seen that day if possible, *all the doctors and nurses are really nice and seem to know how to treat, *the receptionists taking an appointment call and in office are courteous Cons: *The phone call wait to get to get an appointment is no less than 15 minutes and has been up to 30 minutes *NO CONTINUITY OF CARE: We have been going to Allegro Pediatrics since 2012 when we moved here. At that time we established Dr. Baer as our family pediatrician. From 2012 to 2013, my kids saw her roughly 60% of the time. However, since about 2013/2014, we have seen her about 10% of the time I'm guessing. Really it's a "Wow, we got an appointment with Dr. Baer" because we really like her but in actuality, it doesn't matter anymore because she doesn't KNOW my kids any better than any other doctor. We call and get in with who's available because Dr. Baer is usually busy. It's a very sad statement of where healthcare has gone. We have to fill in our doctor with my kids history before letting them see her/him because they might not have had time to read through my child's history. read more

I have loved the two pediatricians we have had over the last 9.5 years, but it is so hard to get an appointment. There are always issues with online scheduling, even for acute care. Once we're there and getting taken care of, my rating is much higher! Absolutely horrible experience. Was our first appointment and they sent a trainee nurse for baby's IV. She didn't even know how to use the poker to draw the blood, someone had to instruct. Our week old newborn cried like crazy even after coming back home. Her foot turned dark and was bleeding even after one hour. The same IV was taken at Evergreen Kirkland a few days back and baby didn't cry. That's the difference between a qualified nurse and a dummie. We called the nurse line immediately and someone called back within an hour and helped us. So shocked that they send trainees for a week old baby care. This is not a toy to play with, this is not how you treat infants. I am in disbelief that such a highly rated place treated her like this. UPDATE[04/26/2019]: Hannah from Patient and Family Relations Specialist called me per my request and agreed that it should have been communicated to us about the training program and that no newborn should have to be experimented (not just our baby). I hope that they take the right steps. I am relieved that our little one is doing ok. I was concerned because my mom had a bad experience in past where a nurse incorrectly injected her leading to a blood clot that moved across the body causing body pain for days, it was painful and could have been fatal. All in all, our experience with everyone but that nurse was great. Hence updating the review from 1 to 3 stars. read more

I can't say enough good things about this practice. It is conveniently located off of 405. We have seen Dr. Baer since moving here six months ago, and she has been fantastic. The nurses are great with my kids, the communication is stellar - they always respond quickly, the reception staff is professional and friendly, and providers return calls. Dr B even frequently makes follow-up calls to check on progress. When #2 son got an eraser stuck in his ear (yes, a pencil eraser) they got us in immediately and, when they could not remove it, got us a speedy referral to Seattle Children's. My only negative would be that it can be tough to get parking near the entrance, depending on the time of day (as they share the lot with Kindering and other businesses in the complex) but I haven't minded walking a short distance from time to time. I am very disappointed in Allegro. I tried to call and be proactive and get my child a flu shot and was told they were all booked and not taking anymore appointments. This is not good customer service. Why can we go to any pharmacy and get a flu shot? But not to our own dr office that we trusted? Makes no sense to me. read more

We love Dr. Label! She is great with our child and takes any of our questions and/or concerns seriously. She offers great advice and is someone you can easily trust. After one of the appointments we had with her at the end of a week, we had a lot of follow-ups and scheduling to do, and Dr. Label called us on the weekend to check on us and make sure we were able to do what we needed to. We have been going to this location and seeing Dr. Britt Rogers since our son was born in November 2017. Dr. Rogers is truly a great doctor. As first time parents, we've had many questions and and concerns and she has been very patient and accommodating. She truly cares and takes the time to listen and provide us with everything we need. We had to take our son to an urgent care center and had a question about giving him antibiotic they prescribed an talked to a nurse at Allegro and Dr. Rogers called us back to follow up the same day. Her call was definitely appreciated as I'm sure she has a very full schedule! Overall we LOVE Allegro and would recommend Dr. Rogers to anyone expecting a baby or in search of a great pediatrician. I visited with my newborn baby and kids for appointment for the newborn. They first said only one parent allowed in then later the nurse said no, for newborn both parents can be here. I asked the reception to allow the 6 and 9 years old kids to wait in the empty reception room and they rejected said we can't be responsible for them! Responsible for what! They are big kids in an EMPTY PEDIATRIC clinic reception, while parents are in checking room!!! Very ugly and I ended make the kids stand at the clinic door to make the two adult reception employees responsible free! read more

Sadly, they use to be good, Allegro bought them and they went downhill, add Covid to the mix and they become horrible. The worst managed business because their technology is outdated, the site does not work and often you can not book an appointment, their phone lines are always busy but they have a VM telling you they are aware of it and they working on it, Did I say I have been hearing this for the last 3 years. Although the providers and the staff are really good, i can not stand dealing with Allegro. Today After an hour of dealing with their faulty booking system, I was able to book an appointment for my daughter, a few minutes later I got a call that they need to cancel it because it is considered contagious and their only see those cases in Bellevue and the first opening in 3 days. Seriously ?! what is not contagious other than vaccine appointment ?! :) Why do not you staff your offices to better serve your patients? Learn something from Seattle Children Hospital, you go online they have urgent care, you book in few minutes using mycart profile, a great service, ... We have met Dr. Reuter when he used to work rotating clinics. We really liked him so we would follow wherever he was (we went to Redmond and Factoria). He is very knowledgeable, caring, patient, good sense of humor and I highly recommend him. The Bothell location is very nice and clean. The staff had always been nice as well. read more

Worst experience would not recommend. We made an appointment over two months ago because they were booked that far out which made us think it was a good office. The morning of the appointment, I contacted them to get an updated link for the virtual appointment. They mentioned the appointment was canceled late last night with no explanation even after asking. Would have been great to receive advance notice as we'd been waiting a while to get in the first place. The customer service here is terrible. We decided to call the Kirkland location to schedule an appointment there instead hoping to receive better service there. Again, terrible customer service and experience on the phone with the receptionist. They hung up on us when we asked to schedule a new appointment and then never called us back. Absolutely terrible experience and worst front staff. These individuals are the first face/voice of the office and they are not making it friendly, welcoming, positive in any way which negatively affects the office/company as a whole. I was really impressed our first visit to see the practice. We were greeted and seen timely by professional staff. The pediatrician was genuine and knowledgeable. I didn't feel rushed, dismissed or talked down to. I felt he listened to my concerns and took an interest in my children. He truly has a passion for his work and his heart is in the right profession. He asked my 5 year old son questions about his health and foods he liked eating. He also provided my son with healthy eating choices. Ive never had a pediatrician that engaged my son in his own care. It was awesome. The office was kind to even put my boys appointments together so that they could be seen same day. I am hoping that all our future visits are as fantastic. read more

I've had great experiences here with two different doctors! I was seeing a different general practitioner for me and my son, and she was great, but after the practice moved away from me, I went looking for a new doctor. I decided to try Allegro for my son's two-year well-child checkup, but of course, a week or two before that appointment, he got very sick and I wanted to have him seen. We got an appointment right away with Dr. Label in the bothell location. She was super friendly and went out of her way to make sure my son felt safe and happy, explaining and showing him every piece of equipment used for the checkup. When the two-year checkup rolled around, I saw Dr. Reuter. He, too was incredibly friendly and incredibly informative! It went way beyond "how much does he weigh? Can he do this that and the other? Looks healthy, okay great! See you next time." He asked about parenting strategies, told great (relevant) anecdotes, gave examples, etc. He even asked how I was doing raising an active toddler! We discussed great ways to set boundaries that are helpful for toddlers, consistency, forecasting and all kinds of things that, though not totally foreign to me, were helpful reminders for this season of life. He even shared insights from his own personal experience of having a second baby (I'm expecting and due soon). He was very encouraging for all the things we're doing well and was very relatable.
