I was relieved she had come to this decision, but living in NYC, had no idea where to turn in order to sell her car. As most people do these days, I started online with websites like 'Carvana', who seemed to be promising impossible amounts of money for a car they had never seen (it was over the KBB rate). It just felt like the whole thing would be a mess and I would wind up with it unsold and frustrated. I wanted to deal with a person, in person. I began calling local car dealerships and had the good fortune of reaching Mike at Auto Smart. On the phone, I explained my predicament to Mike. He was understanding and compassionate to the situation I was in, yet also realistic in his approach as to how much he could offer for the car. No wild promises, which I appreciated, and he was so accommodating to see me on a very tight schedule when we would be in town. This man knows his industry and, with the little bit of research I had done, I felt I could trust his offer. We agreed on a sale price for the car that made us both happy. The price of the car was at the lower range of average for that model with that mileage. When Brandon offered the extended warranty I jumped at it. Purchased my care with 85K miles on it and the extended warranty will carry it to 160K. I was honestly surprised that this was offered on a car with such high mileage! But I figured things were due to start going on it and in my mind, I was just pre-paying for expected repairs over the next 5 years! I've had to go back for a catalytic converter and with the current shortage of used car parts, they tried an after market substitute first. That didn't work long. Took 5 weeks to get an OEM piece. What matters to me is the extended warranty covers it! From brake calipers to windshield wiper motor - all covered. Highly recommend extended warranty. I did check reviews of the 2015 Sonic and it was rated a pretty good buy, with great safety ratings. I care more about safety than I do about fancy. I feel that I got a great deal from Bulter and I've been very happy with the service department. Everyone is very professional and friendly and will work to satisfy.

Someone fraudulently used my card -- OVER THE PHONE (on the July 4th weekend no less) -- and they took it down and charged $20,000.00 to it without verification of I.D. Yes -- $20K - you read that correctly. When I reported it, they were less than helpful or sympathetic and refused to file a police report on their end. BAD & UNETHICAL SERVICE!! I've filed my own police report -- don't do business here! -- Their website also lists an email that is no longer valid. Someone did return my call the next morning - but not before they called the criminal first and told him that I had canceled the card and transaction - thus allowing him to lie some more -- idiots.
