I've used AllCPR which is also the ICCPRA in the past. In short, the training was fine and well priced but I think they're putting too many people in the class which leads to longer in person training which was unexpected. Also make sure to read the board near the entrance to not be like me and MISS that you needed to scan the QR code to sign into class. Now I have to clear up the fact that I did attend training and I should get my certification. L O C A T I O N AllCPR utilizes the University of San Jose's buildings. Today they had the American Heart Association as well as American Red Cross CPR training which confused a few folks. But it was well labeled at the front on the boards, so I easily found where I needed to be. There is a lot of parking specifically for this building. So it was nice that it was free and plentiful. R O O M The room was larger today than the last time I had training. I thought it wouldn't be full, but it was packed by the time we started which was around 10:05am. It was a bit cold in there as it's been quite colder these days. So glad I had a jacket. T R A I N I N G You needed to complete the online training which was roughly 3 hours but if you did the pre-assessments and know your stuff, then you could finish faster. Just make sure you have proof of completion ready either printed or shown on your phone to show the instructor when you get into the room. There were adult and baby dummies on the table which I thought oh, there's only 6-8 of them. We all ended up doing teams of 3. Yeah that's how many people were in that class. We were given a couple of latex gloves and a disposable mask to use. First time for me. I feel like each training I've had, I've had different experiences well outside of doing the Check - Call - Care and doing the CPR. The AED this time was different too. It was good to try out the disposable plastic mask. Also good to remember to pinch the nose of the adult when doing the breath which I learned as if you don't pinch the dummy's nose closed, the chest won't rise! I also appreciated that they clothed the dummies to simulate the taking off of clothes. Again another first for me which was good! Now the actual training was off of a computer presentation a la powerpoint felt a little redundant to the online training as we watched the main videos for each of the different sections for CPR on Adults and Infants as well as for choking that was in the online training. And well the instructor read off of the first main slides. I think he actually did better when he didn't read off the slides and just stuck to the topics and what needed to be shared. I feel that when they get to the First Aid they seem to cherry pick what topic they should focus on. I remember last time I went, we worked on epinephrine pens, bleeding as well as using a tourniquet. I wish they showed how to use the naloxone as that's new though I guess it's not common to stumble on an opiod overdose. But at least epipens would be nice to have gone over. I think due to the number of people, we did go over by 30 minutes in training. I didn't mind, but it would be nice to ensure if training is said to be 2 hours long that they make sure they're sticking to the time. It would be just courteous to be respectful of everyone's time and their potential other commitments O V E R A L L Like I said, it's one of the cheaper options for a full CPR/First Aid/AED for Adult and Child/Infant training. The online course was lovely as you could do a pre-assessment which focuses on areas you don't remember. They haven't updated this online training since 2 years ago where it was completely revamped which was nice. The in person is great because you actually get to practice on a dummy and remember the steps. My partners were great to make sure I remembered to ask one of them to call 9-1-1 and get the AED plus first aid kit. Also being able to practice with a version of an AED is good. I also do appreciate they seem to have different AEDs when I go so it's getting more practice on different types. But the in-person slides could be better and I don't think going through the videos in class is needed. I think that would've saved a bunch of time as the videos were redundant to what the trainer demostrates. *NOTE* Make sure to scan the QR code at the board near the door. Apparently that's how to sign in for attendance. I didn't realize that it was for attendance and not just a link to get to the online training certification in case you forgot to bring yours. I just got an email saying I didn't go to my training and I for sure was there...ugh. I hope my photo from the day is enough to show proof that I was there for the full training. *Update* Phew, good thing I provided the instructor's name (which perhaps they should show on the screen so you know how to spell it). I was able to provide details from the class which only someone who was there could provide and they were able to clear up the misunderstanding. read more

I had to get certified for work, and it was really fast to do so through AllCPR! I went through the Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED Certification class, and it was pretty normal. The total cost did come out to around $110 (since you have to pay for the online portion in Red Cross, plus the in-person session). There were 8 people in the class (including me), and we all got into groups of 2-3 and started immediately. There were more than enough dolls/mannequins to go around, though we mostly shared within our groups because CPR can get pretty tiring pretty fast! The instructor was great, she had us in and out within 1.5 hours (originally scheduled for 2 hours). I didn't want to pay the extra $10 for expedited certification shipping, but it was great because they sent the certification the next day anyways! Ultimately, this class made me feel pretty confident in my ability to give CPR/serious first aid. There were lights on the dolls which allowed you to see if you were going too fast, too slow, not deep enough, and having practice AEDs were great. We went over CPR, infant CPR, choking, infant choking, serious bleeding, and AED protocol. Highly recommend! read more

Avoid ALLCPR if you need your certification done correctly and on time. I took a CPR/First Aid/AED certification course through ALLCPR, expecting to receive an American Red Cross certification (which is required for my NY State coaching license). Unfortunately, that's not what I got--despite confirming with their staff during the course that the correct certification would be issued. Instead, over a week after the class, I received the wrong certificate, which does not meet state requirements for coaching. Since then, I've been stuck in an endless loop of unanswered calls and emails. Their "24/7 support line" is a joke--no one ever responds, and there's been zero follow-up to help fix their mistake. This has delayed my coaching license, and I'm not the only one from our course dealing with this mess. The trainer who led the course was excellent (this review isn't about them), but ALLCPR as an organization has been completely unprofessional and unresponsive. The class started an hour and 5 minutes late. We tried to reach customer service to find out what was happening and there is no way to reach a human other than email. The phone tree on the phone line takes you in circles and there is a place, once you find it that says you can leave a message. I signed up for a CPR class through AllCPR using Apple Pay on my phone, and unfortunately had to cancel due to a family emergency. I canceled four days in advance, well within the 24-hour window required by their policy. Despite that, they refused to issue a full refund and deducted a $25 cancellation fee. The bigger issue is how their cancellation policy is not properly disclosed during mobile checkout -- especially when using Apple Pay. I was never shown or asked to agree to any terms before my payment was processed. Only later did they show me a screenshot of what the policy looks like on a desktop, which is completely different from how it appears on mobile. On my phone, the policy is hidden behind a small link I wasn't prompted to click. I shared screen recordings proving this and explained the situation calmly, but they still wouldn't budge. Their email responses were dismissive. If you plan to sign up through your phone or Apple Pay, beware that important information may be hidden, and you may end up paying unexpected fees even if you cancel responsibly. read more

Avoid AllCPR at ALL COSTS. If it weren't for my incredible instructor (Tom), I would be left without a certificate. The "24/7 support line" is useless - I called the number and emailed the support and info emails countless times before the class and got nowhere. Not once did I receive a response or have someone answer the phone (also left numerous messages and did not receive a call back). I arrived to the scheduled class (hoping it was happening because I never received a confirmation email), and confirmed with the instructor that I would be able to receive the certification that I needed for work (coaching). After making multiple calls from his phone, my instructor finally received a call back from Kenny at AllCPR, who was incredibly rude and dismissive. He told us that we should have called the support line or emailed before the class, denying us any kind of refund or ability to reschedule. I explained that I called and emailed AllCPR support numerous times and received no response, to which he responded, interrupting me mid-sentence, that I should have called their 24/7 support line. It was very clear that he was not at all listening to anything I was saying and speaking to a brick wall would have been more productive. At the end of this call, it was not made clear what certificate the specific class would even cover. I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service. Over a week after the class (the certificate was promised in 2 days), I received an AHA BLS provider eCard from Arizona. I was supposed to be receiving an American Red Cross FA/AED/CPR card from New York (where I attended the class). As per usual, when I reached out to AllCPR, they were unresponsive. I emailed my instructor, who went out of his way to make this right for me, paying the extra fee to ensure I was able to receive the correct certificate (that I signed up for and needed for work) since the company refused to allow us to reschedule. He made sure that we received the proper education and training for the certificate required for work, despite AllCPR ignoring it's customers' needs. Horrible customer service from AllCPR and overall a nightmare of an experience. It's an absolute shame that AllCPR treats it's customers and instructors so terribly that my instructor from the class decided he will longer be working for this company. My daughter was trying to get a job in childcare and needed her certification. She showed up and was told she wasn't allow in because she was more than 5 minutes late. We were late because the address and suite number were not clear and were looking all over the WRONG building. Fine whatever we try to reschedule the class pay 25 more dollars she emails and calls daily with no response or a response of contact back in 24hrs. They email her the day of the class at 2 am for a class that starts at 10 am in the morning the 10am. She had no idea and missed another class. There's no way to contact a person directly just sent on a continuous loop and recordings by phone! We can't get this resolved and now she may loose the opportunity to work for this new job!!! I am appalled by this company and what they did to my daughter. They must take pride in stealing money from single mothers and young adults trying to get their footing. It would be nice if they saw this review and tried to make it right but I doubt it!!! read more

Hello everyone! I went to my class and I could not find it and the class was at 10 AM. I got there at 10:10 they locked The doors would not let me in said that I was more than six minutes late and that they can't let people in more than six minutes late and then I come on here and looking at the reviews saying that they have a 10 minute grace period. I had to pay a rescheduling fee and they didn't contact me even though I tried to call them multiple times until the day of the class and let me remind you the class starts at 10 AM. So now either I don't get my certificate and I spent 150 and still haven't been able to get my certificate because of this and no one's contacting me. No one's helping me so it's either I waste the money or I pay more money to get my certificate and just pay for the whole class all over again i'm really struggling and I don't know what to do and I'm just trying to work. I need this for my job. i'm freshly 18 trying to move out and can't start working until I get this. read more
