Great for large groups!…read more Came here on a bachlorette trip and it hit the spot! There is a lot of space in the restaurant and even a small parking lot. The food was delicious and the drinks were good! Our server was friendly and even gave the bride a BJ shot!

It makes you instantly hungry and has a way of making you forget about skiing or any other plans. I went with the two street tacos for $20. I chose the Elk and the Steak, opting for double black beans instead of rice to keep the diet right. Both were fantastic; the succulent steak provided a perfect balance to the leaner elk. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa, and Mi Casa delivered a great trio: a fresh pico, a solid medium verde, and a "light you up" option for those who want the heat. The bar serves a solid Ranch Water with true Topo Chico instead of club soda from the gun, and my son gave the kids' quesadilla a strong report. The interior is well-executed--it transports you without feeling kitschy. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout. Overall, a reality-based "win" for a post-mountain meal.

***TREVOR NEEDS A RAISE***…read more I had an awesome experience at Breckenridge Tap House. Right when we walked in the whole place just had a super relaxed vibe. There was no wait at all, which is pretty rare in Breckenridge, especially during ski season. We got seated right away and everything felt easy from the start. It was the kind of place where you can just kick back after a day on the mountain and grab some good food. Our waiter Trevor was an absolute chiller. Seriously one of the most laid-back and friendly servers I've had in a while. He came over right away, brought us waters, and just had a super good attitude the whole time. Instead of rushing through everything like some places do, he actually talked with us and made the whole experience feel way more personal. One thing we really appreciated was how cool he was about the menu. My son wanted to order off the kids menu and Trevor had no issue with it at all. He didn't make it weird or complicated, he just said no problem and took the order. Little things like that go a long way and made the whole meal way smoother. The food also came out really fast and everything we got was solid. Trevor kept checking in at the perfect times and made sure our waters stayed full without being annoying about it. He also talked with us about skiing and the conditions around Breckenridge, which was cool because we had just been out on the mountain. It felt like talking to someone who actually enjoys the town and the people coming through. The best part was honestly after we left. We accidentally forgot something at the table and didn't realize until we were already outside. When we came back, Trevor was literally waiting with it ready to give it back to us. That kind of thing doesn't happen everywhere. Overall the service was great, the food came out fast, and Trevor was an absolute chiller the entire time. I'd definitely come back here again.

The drink menu also has a lot of fun, reasonably priced options. The espresso martini is a must, especially on a snow day. The service was very quick and friendly, and I was honestly surprised by the speed as we stopped in on a very busy Saturday afternoon. I know there are a lot of great options in Breck, but if you're looking for a casual hangout with good food and drinks, I'd recommend stopping in!

Absolutely unacceptable experience…read more We came in as a group of five and were given one tiny bowl of salsa. When we politely asked for more, the owner brought another very small bowl and was visibly irritated by the request. When my mom later asked for additional salsa, the owner slammed a drink down on the table and said, "Look, the salsa is not free." At that point, we were on the verge of walking out. My mom tried to de-escalate and said it was okay, that we would pay for it. He then begrudgingly brought one more tiny bowl. So in total: three very small bowls of salsa for five people. When the check arrived, things got worse. An 18% mandatory gratuity was added without explanation, and we were also charged $15 for salsa. The total bill was $211.34 for five people. To top it off, when the owner placed the check on the table, he said, "I'm glad you pay for the salsa." It felt rude, confrontational, and completely unnecessary. This was one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've had. Poor attitude, poor service, and shockingly unprofessional behavior from the owner. We will never go back.

The spicy marg was also tasty. Ordered the Elote Bowl app which was great although the house made tortilla chips were seasoned with a spicy salt which rather overpowered the Elote. However we asked for plain chips and they made them up FRESH. Great customer service!! My wife ordered Enchiladas Verde. She generally only orders 1 ala carte and the dinner came with 3 enchiladas + rice and beans ... it was huge so we had take home boxes. I had the chili rellanos which were 2 good sized poblano peppers stuffed with a great cheese mixture, breaded and fried. They were tasty and really good. We were joined by a friend who had the happy hour beef tacos ... also really good. They had a wide nicely curated selection of tequilas, mezcals, sotols, etc. Molly, an off-duty employee, gave me a quick education on 'washed' tequilas, etc. Molly knows her stuff + Am B was very attentive. Closed soon for a month but plans are to reopen for summer and beyond. We loved the experience!!! As an addendum, they specifically told me how to reheat my Rellano later! In addition, the spice on the Rellano was truly unusual and spectacular upon reheating. I hadn't really noticed that at the restaurant!!!

SO GOOD I CAME HERE TWICE!…read more Best breakfast burrito I've ever had (I haven't had many, but my friend who grew up in Austin said it was the best breakfast burrito they've ever had outside of Texas). Highly recommend it with the pastor. Also tried the birria tacos which didn't look like typical birria I've had where it is fried in the consome but IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!! It's right on Main Street and located very close to the gondolas making it the place to stop by for some food. I had the chorizo taco, al pastor taco, and the tasajo taco. My favorite of the three was the al pastor. Wow wow wow! So much flavor!!!! The tacos are absolutely to die for and the price is amazing. My hubby had the quesadilla with steak one time and with al pastor. I think the quesadilla with al pastor was hands down the best! The guys working here are very friendly, and the food is made to order so there is a little wait (like 10-15min). But that just means you're getting fresh food! There's a few tables out there to sit at to enjoy your goodies. Highly recommend adding this to your list next time you're in Breckenridge looking for some authentic Mexican food.

Walking in on a cold February day, the mood and ambiance were warm and inviting. The downstairs bar was lively, and the wood ceiling and decor definitely gave off a classic aged lodge feel. We were seated upstairs per our Yelp reservations. A collection of canteens hung on the wall, which sparked a fun conversation and history lesson for my twins. Since they're part of the CamelBak and Stanley cup generation, they hadn't seen anything like them before. My son was impressed by the size of the kids' burger, and the fries were great. The rest of us had the NY Strip. I'd say it was good, but not great--though I did appreciate the blackened seasoning and the chimichurri. The grilled asparagus, however, was simply fantastic. The showstopper was the upside-down apple pie with what seemed to be homemade vanilla ice cream. Both were generous portions and kindly comped by our server for my birthday. I ordered my standard Ranch Water, though it unfortunately didn't come in their traditional canteen cup. Overall, it's a great spot. I look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Colorado.
