They do not treat patients with anxiety although they advertise as such or I wouldn't have gone. scheduled for 3 extractions, dentist and assistant completely unprepared, had no idea where sutures were, which needed. They did not have proper instruments available, running in and out of the room. i had pain and bleeding after, called the practice and she hung up on me, I had to go to the ER, they stopped the bleeding and I have to go to an emergency dentist to fix this botched mess in my mouth read more

After Dr. Agamov examined my teeth, including prodding the silver fillings in my mouth using a dental explorer, and at that time she advised me that I had five silver fillings that were loose and she recommended that I replace them all. She explained that the process would involve removing the silver filling and grinding down more of the inside of the tooth so the new filling could adhere to the tooth. I scheduled three appointments over the next several months to have them replaced. During each appointment I was given Novacane (with a large needle) to numb my mouth and then part of each tooth was drilled out, followed by the insertion of new filling. A year later I began to have mouth pain so I returned to the same dental office; Dr. Agamov was no longer working at that branch. I was told that she had transferred to another part of the state. A different dentist examined my teeth and informed me that I had two cracked teeth that would need to be crowned. The cracked teeth were two of the teeth that Dr. Agamov replaced fillings in during previous visits. The new dentist also said that I could expect to have the other three teeth crack in the future and that they would also require crowns. I scheduled two subsequent visits with a new dental office (because I was reluctant to stay with the same company) where I had one cracked tooth crowned at each visit. This process involved Novacane (with a big needle) to numb my mouth, "laughing" gas and the teeth were ground down; a temporary crown was put on each of them until the imprint of each tooth could be sent out to create a permanent crown. It took approximately a month for each permanent crown to come in to the dentist's office. I returned both times to have the temporary crown removed so the permanent crown could be adhered to the nub of each tooth. I recently started to experience pain in my mouth again. I returned to the dentist to be told that a third tooth has cracked--also a tooth that Dr. Agamov had replaced the silver filling. I now have to schedule appointments to have the third crown put in my mouth. This process has been traumatic for me--the needles, the countless appointments and the anticipation of this happening with two more teeth at some point in the future. I have cried on several occasions. Additionally, this process has cost me approximately $800 per tooth (in out-of-pocket expenses) plus what my insurance has been billed. Through the research I have done (online and with several other dentists) I have discovered that when a silver filling is removed, the integrity of the tooth is further at risk because of the removal and because of the additional drilling of the tooth that's required. The research indicates that if a silver filling is loose and does need replacement, then a crown should be done at that same time to reduce the risk of cracking. My husband's dentist said he would not recommend the procedure that Dr. Agamov used on my teeth and my newest dentist said that she would have left the loose filling in the tooth and she would have simply crowned on top of that filling instead of extracting and replacing it. It is suspicious that the cracked teeth are all teeth that Dr. Agamov worked on to replace the fillings in my mouth.. I advise anyone who is consulting Dr. Agamov about their dental pain --or any dental procedure--to get a second opinion before agreeing to move forward, particularly if she advises you to replace your old fillings. read more

There are unique positives to this office / dentist and there are also extremely disturbing negatives. Positives: Text message reminders. Easy to make an appointment. Digital x-rays. Nice dentist. Negatives: - The dental assistant asked me to hold an instrument and handed it to me on the part that goes in my mouth! I didn't have clean hands. And she unexpectedly shoved it right back into my mouth...so, so, so extremely unacceptable and incomprehensible. When I took it out of my mouth and commented she seemed annoyed. She did replace it with a clean one, but then asked me to hold the instrument again! This time it was the handle, but she then grabbed it with her glove. Used it. Then stuck her g'damned gloves in my mouth!!!!!!!! This is how you give patients infections! - The office does not give off the feeling of cleanliness (see uploaded photo). The garbage of used gloves and other items is literally 5 inches from the equipment that goes in your mouth. - The dental assistant kept shooting mass amounts of water down my neck. I was literally soaked when I left. Worse than a salon! I've never had this happen at any other dentist ever! She knew and also didn't seem to care at all. - The dental assistant also ruined my white shirt. She managed to get bits of colored teeth cleaning gunk all over my face, neck, and shirt. I went to Dr. Agamov's office for about 4 years. I recently decided not going there anymore. Here's why: Positives: - I loved my dental hygienist. She was nice, quick and did her job well. - Great front lobby staff. Never had any issues with them. - Extended hours is a plus. I could get my cleanings done after work. Negatives: - Dr. Agamov never talks about what she sees, what needs to be done and why she is doing what she is doing. - She had to replace 2 fillings she put in my mouth within one year. I had to work hard to convince them something was wrong with the fillings both times. Once they agreed on taking x-rays, they discovered fillings were not done right and there was additional decay on the teeth. - They texted me a link to rate their business, I wrote a similar review to this and it never made it to the website. I highly recommend Dr Agamov for any dental work ! I had a very difficult case and was willing to travel to get the best care . Dr Agamov was very highly recommended and I am so happy I went . Her work is meticulous and she was very patient in such a long procedure ,and I can't tell you how pleased I was ! I cannot say enough about the exceptional care I received from Dr.Agamov and her caring staff .I live in Rhode Island and the commute is an hour but worth every minute . I had work that required a lot of time and expertise ,all of which she gave me.Dr Agamov made my visits very comfortable and she was very attentive to my concerns, and cared a great deal by answering all my questions . the doctor did not introduce herself to me or explain anything as she was doing it. She only gave me 15 or the 20 botox units I paid for and when I called her out on this she said I was wrong and covered up the syringe (I'm a nurse and know how to read it). Instead, she spent the entire time trying to sell me on buying more units at full price instead of just giving me what I actually paid for. BUYER BEWARE for Botox/Juvederm etc here. read more

I went to Dr. Agamov for Juvederm filler in my lips, and I am extremely pleased with the results. I had this done once in the past and I bruised terribly, but I have almost no bruising this time. Dr. Agamov really knows what she's doing, and she and her staff are very professional and nice. My lips are fuller and very symmetrical, and they look completely natural. I got the results I was looking for and then some! I'm a dental hygienist, so I know what to look for as far as infection control and cleanliness. This office is extremely clean, and I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to get a cleaning here. The reviewer who complained about the cleanliness is mistaken. I don't think she knows the difference between a dental assistant and a dental hygienist, and her complaints are non issues. I recommend Dr. Agamov without hesitation. She and her staff make you feel relaxed, and Dr. Agamov has an excellent grasp of the esthetics of a pretty smile. I will definitely be back! read more

The best dentist that I have gone to yet. I am new to the area and wasn't sure where to go, but one of my neighbors recommended Dr. Agamov to me. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly secretary, who made me feel very comfortable. The doctor was so pleasant, great to work with, and made me actually enjoy my appointment.
