    Affordable Clean Carpet Service

Just had my carpets done and they look amazing. I have 3…read moreelderly dogs, one of which is incontinent, so I need carpet cleaning regularly when it's too much for my home steam-cleaner. When booking my appointment, the woman quoted me the price of $124.50 for a large living room, family room bedroom and hall. It seemed high when I compared to others advertising "$49 for 3 rooms!"... but I've had these $49 guy here before. Sure it *starts* at $49, but "oh, you want a pet treatment? oh, the stain treatment is extra... you want us to move the chairs? You want us to actually do any work? That'll be $225!" Affordable doesn't do this. $124 was all I paid, for the whole service, pre-treat spray, carpet cleaning/extraction and dryers. Affordable's products didn't leave a perfum-y smell, I actually can't smell anything right now- which is great. The smelly stuff other companies use is temporarily masking the pet smell they didn't quite get out. I can put my face right down on some "problem" areas that used to gag me, and i smell nothing! My only criticism would be that i wasn't made aware of different "packages" they offer. I'm a single mom and just assumed a man would arrive ready to help me move the big couches, but I guess I unwittingly got the "silver package" that didn't include furniture moving. Thankfully and graciously, Steven helped me move my heavy sleeper sofa and bookshelf anyway. I also didn't know there was a pet treatment I could have asked for, but like I said, the carpet looks and smells great anyway, so no complaints. I'll ask for the pet treatment next time though. Who knows what's lurking in the carpet pad. ;)

When we went to the house after closing we noticed the seller's did not clean the house and the carpets were nasty. We were moving in the next couple of days, so I called around to find a carpet cleaning company that can come out now. Steve and his son came to the rescue. They came to our new house the next day. They were so nice, very knowledgeable and the price was on point for 3 bedrooms. Once we get settled in, we are definitely calling them again to finish the tile floors and Berber carpet going downstairs.

Do not hire Paramount Remodeling Company if you want your remodel to look nice, be finished on…read moretime, or not be charged for their mistakes at the end of the project. We had Paramount Remodeling Company do a full remodel on our kitchen, dining room, and living room. Issues that we had throughout the project: - They ordered the wrong kitchen cabinets, including a) not ordering enough length to allow us to put 2 barstools across one edge of the counter as we'd planned, and b) not ordering a lazy susan cupboard for the blind corner cabinet. They did not apologize, give a refund, or offer to purchase an after-market lazy susan-type pullout. Now I have to physically climb into the cabinet any time I need to get something out of the back of the cabinet. - They left large gouges and scratches all over the kitchen cabinets. - They ordered our white backsplash tiles from two die lots, and intermingled the two. They wanted to charge us extra to redo the backsplash all from a single die lot. While they ultimately didn't charge us for the labor, we did have to pay for a second batch of tile all in the same die lot. - They painted all of the walls without wiping them down, and after putting the wrong texture on them. There was hair, pine needles, rocks, wall mounts, nails, staples, and all sorts of things painted into the wall. We had to pay extra to get them to do another pass. - They did a terrible masking tape job on all of the places where the walls meet the floor boards, ceilings, etc. They had to do a second pass, and even still the lines are not neat. - It took them two weeks to finish the "touchups". Most days during that time they only showed up for about two hours in the afternoon, if they bothered to show up at all. The project ended up taking about 6 weeks longer to finish than it was supposed to, which is not including the two month stop-work order that the city put on our project due to issues with the bathroom remodel done by a different company that was not Paramount's fault. I've owned two other houses where I've done largescale remodels. This was by far the worst, which is saying something since on one of those other projects the project manager ended up having to stop working on the project and literally almost died because he had a lung collapse and kidney or liver failure.
