The African man (an immigrant) Bard was yelling for hours nonstop. There was a severe language barrier. I never did anything remotely close to dangerous, but the man was screaming, shouting, and swearing! I thought the test gonna be hard and became nervous. In reality, the test was super easy, but I didn't pass. I was super nervous and made some silly mistakes! What a waste of money. If you'd like to get screamed at after paying 700$ of your own money, you'd like to sign up!

Since permits expire a year later, before I knew it, November 2018 came around. I was looking EVERYWHERE for a driving instructor because I was a minor at the time, and I had an extremely small amount of time to fit in all my driving lessons before my permit expired. After getting in contact with Natomas Driving School, I was partnered up with John Diggs. Of course, driving for the first time is an intimidating thing, but John made me comfortable and forget that fear. Before I knew it, I was on the freeway driving with no anxiety. John is an intelligent man, and knows what he's doing. He's been an instructor for years and is extremely skilled at what he does. He even gave me the nickname, "Smiley" because I always smiled and laughed whenever we were together. 10/10. I was able to fit all my lessons in two weeks, then took the drivers test, and passed! I don't recommend waiting almost a year to take your test, but it comes to show you how well John is at instructing. This man is wise, funny, and knowledgeable. Thanks again John!

Go to any Yelp page and scroll down to the section that says "Reviews that are not recommended" and notice how many reviews from brand new accounts there are. I chose Camellok because it was one of the only schools that doesn't inflate their rating with fake/bribed reviews. Thank you for your honest business practices! I had a behind-the-wheel lesson this March at a rate of $145/2 hours. My instructor Louie was straight-to-the-point, experienced, calm, professional, and reassuring. He drove to my house in an electric Ford sedan with a set of brakes/accel on the passenger side. We begun the lesson with him explaining a few concepts (braking, gears, honking, steering wheel, etc) with toy cars and flashcards. He then instructed me to begin driving which was terrifying, but he reassured me by emphasizing that he's taught a great number of students and that he was certain that I could succeed as well.

She was so patient, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about teaching. You can really tell that she wants her students to learn and feel confident behind the wheel, not just pass the test. Every lesson was so helpful, and she made sure I understood what I was doing instead of just memorizing things. She gave me so many tips and helped me feel less nervous and more confident about driving. If you're nervous about your driving test or don't know where to start, I definitely recommend booking lessons with Nina! She's the best, and I'm so grateful I had her as my instructor. FIRST TRY!!! Nina was a good instructor and very nice, but there were a few issues with scheduling. She would sometimes arrive late to pick my daughter up and occasionally drop her off before the lesson was supposed to end -- at one point, about 30 minutes early. On the positive side, this was one of the cheapest driving schools we could find, and in the end, my daughter did get her license.
