We obtained bids from three Heating/AC businesses in the Glenwood Springs area, but US Forced Air was the most responsive of the three contractors and also had the lowest (most realistic) bid. We were favorably impressed with Thomas right from the start when he offered a couple of excellent suggestions on humidifier installation options during his first visit. During the installation we were impressed with how meticulous Thomas was installing and testing the humidifier. US Forced Air's slogan, "You'll be comfortable with us", is true! We'll be relying on US Forced Air for all our Heating & AC needs.

He explained everything to me and used a lot of equipment to test my ac handler in my condo. I called 5 companies and had them come out. Rich with R and H was great. Rich was the first person to actually get into the ac system. Some contractors told me I would have to cut into my wall. Rich went in and accessed the system with no problems. Matthew thoroughly examined and resolved the issues. I like that he explained everything to me and backed it up with equipment readings that he showed me. They did not try to sell me refrigerant. He showed me why my ac refrigerant levels were fine. He was honest and knew what he was doing. It was a relief to find the right people. Also they charged a fair price. The office staff is also very nice and has good customer service skills.

A year later I had it serviced by another plumber who showed me Matt never extended the flue through the roof which created condensation that was leaking onto my boiler. That repair costs $1800 which included other things Matt did not complete. Another plumber was able to find the source of the noise and fixed it simply by using insulation underneath the storage tank which Matt did not use. So over $2000 in additional costs because Matt did not install the boiler or the storage tank correctly. A measuring tape was also found underneath my boiler and cannot be removed unless the boiler is removed. Hopefully it will not cause problems in the future. His office has refused return my call.
