I've been waiting 6 months for my locks to be installed and now I'm not getting a response!! It took 4 months to have the fence installed.

This is one of the worst business I have ever dealt with. Danny [Owner] is Unprofessional and Disrespectful to customers he feels he can get away with it. If you are going to have professional work done, you must ensure that the wood material; including planks, pickets, and hardware are new; not old with weathering, discolored and fading wood that is already deteriorating for a gate that is not even 1-year old. For $7,500.00, which is a lot of money and doesn't grow on trees, no matter how many times you are called out to correct your wrongs on installing a "soon to be" failing gate due to old material and hardware being used, you ought to fix. Not to mention, the first time his workers came out, they informed that used old wood was used from the warehouse to get rid of the old inventory that have been sitting for years. Any owner of a business will get it right the first time when installing anything for a customer, as the first impression means everything. In this case, even with the old wood and material, had it been corrected fully after the first discrepancy and acknowledged of the findings, then I would not be sitting here, wasting my valuable time, venting out my frustrations and filing a lawsuit. Not one time did Danny come out and physically check the gate for himself and see the findings; rather, he want to go off his own experiences with his gate and other customers...Well, I am not other customers and had you came out physically yourself and seen for yourself, then you would not have to back track your initial argumentative thought processes, as you normally do time and time again. As a customer, I have provided this company with numerous opportunities to correct the multiple discrepancies with their old, weathered out fencing material. And while Danny thinks he is done "accommodating," which he has not done at all; rather it has been his employees who have come and acknowledged onsite the problem, but just make temporary fixes. Danny argues and become combative with me each time through text messages when I have an issue with the gate that has nothing to do with my own doing, but rather he blames the customer each time as the problem causer versus seeing the evidence vividly through the pictures I send. The customer service is below standard, the material used is below standard and the fix is always below standard. For weeks now, Danny have informed that they will be the following week to correct the issues, but then weeks turn into months; not to mention the combative nature that I must consistently deal with just to get this $7,500.00 fence to the standards it should have been at in the beginning upon installation. It is rather odd, in the beginning, after the install of this fence when the last payment had to be made, he didn't let a minute pass before he is calling and texting me constantly, but now that the money is paid you treat me inhumane, which I will not accept under any circumstances. This gate has a 2-year warranty, and from how I am being treated and the poor customer service, All Type Fencing and Danny is waiting for the 2-year period to expire so they can wash their hands on this matter. You will not get away with doing low-level work, expect premium pay, use my water and electricity, and then give me attitude when you have not done your due diligence in correcting this fence. Please see the multiple pictures attached of the poor material quality and hardware placed on my fence. The hardware is cheap and was not installed properly, and as the result it bent on the gate; yet Danny wants to blame me and state, "You cannot leave them gates open like that all the time, you're going to have nothing but problems out of them." To begin with, he falsely accused me of something I did not do, and my response to this unbecoming of respect human was, "Danny the hinges were put in that way. Me opening and stabilizing the gate should not be an issue, the hardware should have been properly installed in the beginning." My fence is not aligned properly, post sticks out away from property and I have asked several times since November 2022 if one post can be fixed and I received several promises and no show. read more

Beware this company. Customer service is an absolute disaster. On 3/15/21 we signed a contract for $7,580 to remove an existing cyclone fence and replace it with a 6 - foot white vinyl privacy fence. We deposited $3,790 and were told they were a little behind and we should expect a delay of 6 to 8 weeks before construction. On July 12, 2021, I was sent a text that informed me that his supplier "ran out of material" and that it would be another 6 to 8 weeks before he would get "my" material. Offered a refund, I told him I would wait. September 1, 2021 I texted the company and asked for an update on the disposition of my materials. and was told it "Could be" another 4 weeks before he would receive my materials. 5 weeks later, October 11, 2021 I texted them to see where we were at with the fence installation. I was informed that they still did not have "my material" and to keep my fingers crossed that it would be soon. November 17, 2021, received a text stating that "my material" would not be available until the first of the year, thank you for being so patient. February 23, 2022 I contacted the company with a text to ask if I might be able to get a lattice top, since "my material" had not been received yet. He said yes, but, the order would not be received until the end of April now. May 9, 2022 I texted again to ask how things are progressing, was informed "my material" would be in by the end of the week, and that he would call me when they were ready to install the fence. On June 1, 2022 I texted the company to ask where we were in the installation of my fence. I was informed it was suppose to be in next week. On June 4, 2022 I received a text stating that he had some bad news. The supplier cannot get the materials, so he was just going to refund me the down payment. I said send it, I believe what happened here is that the company underbid the project and just strung me along hoping I would walk away and find someone else. The owners name and the man I was dealing with is Danny and I am warning you to stay away from this company. 15 months of waiting and initiating almost ALL the contacts with this man was extremely frustrating. I honestly am amazed that this company is still in business considering their horrendous customer service and business practices. All Type Fence BUYERS BEWARE On March 11, 2022 I paid $3,160 to this company for a fence for my yard. I was told they were 3-4 weeks out. After not hearing from the company at all during the timeframe I was given on April 21, 2022 I reached out asking a timeframe of when the job will be done. I was told " It's gonna be a couple more weeks before we can get to your job or a little backed up with all this rain". I understood the weather permitting factor and was patient. Flash forward to May 12th I yet again had to be the person to reach out to All Types Fence asking for an estimate time until we would get our fence we already paid for in full installed. I was told " I'm gonna try to get a crew out there by the end of next week thank you for being patient with us". On May 23 I had to again be the person to reach out asking for a estimate until we receive the fence we paid for. I was told " OK now I know because we got two different jobs on that street your job is scheduled for the end of the week or beginning of next week if you want to check back with me Thursday I will give you a date". On May 26th I yet again had to reach out to All Type Fence asking for a start date since I was told three days prior to reach out on Thursday for a start date. I was told " It's looking like it's gonna be Thursday or Friday of next week I don't know which day all depends on the weather". At that point I was becoming unsatisfied with how this company says one thing but can't even give a start date STILL. After I was told that I told All Type Fence the following " I've gotten several different time frames of when it's going to be done. I understand it's weather permitting but now it's yet another week of waiting for it to possibly be started on. I also have to keep requesting time off work and it keeps changing and my management is starting to get frustrated. At this time we've decided if this is something that can't be done next week we would like a refund. I hope you understand." . The owner Tommy did say he'd give a refund and mysteriously had start date given to me of June 2nd after I mentioned wanting a refund if I wasn't given a start a date. Now let's flash forward to June 1st the day before the job was scheduled to start. I asked if the job was scheduled to start still on June 2nd it was CONFIRMED by Danny to start on June 2nd. Morning on June 2nd while I was at work all morning I didn't see any workers at the house. I messaged Danny at 10:23am asking " Hello I'm just making sure the job will be started at some point today still?" I was told they were on there way. So the guys ended up arriving at the house at 10:33am and I felt reassured we were finally going to keep the job started I seen two workers carrying supplies into our backyard. Next time I looked at the ring camera at 10:43 the two workers and the truck were GONE. I received a phone call from a worker named Steve at 10:45am stating nothing was marked in the yard in which I said I was never told anything needed to be marked. Steve then said nobody in the office called 811 and he called this morning personally to 811. Steve said he'd be back himself within 24-48 hours to start the job himself. I was told they left the post in the backyard because they'll be back within the 24-48 hours to start the job. At this point I was mad but thought we'll atleast this company finally came out atleast after giving the go around these past few weeks. On Thursday night as I was still mad and in my thoughts I decided to call 811 myself and ask if any contractor called for our address to be marked today. SURPRISE SURPRISE NOBODY CALLED! The 811 representative double and triple checked to see if anyone called for our address and she told me nobody today or within the last 30 days called for our address. After getting off the phone with 811 my anger didn't lessen towards the contractor. I never thought a contractor would consistently lie to a customer. Well I thought wrong. I decided to call 811 yet again the same night just to confirm nobody actually called for our address. I talked the 811 representative again our address was yet again double and triple checked. No contractor called for our address and the representative said there's houses on our same street name that we're called on but our exact address was NEVER called on. I asked the representative if a worker told me they called around 10:40am this morning would it show in your system. I was told yes it would show but nobody had called on your address. I then thought if this contractor has lied yet again and probably had the post left in the yard to keep me quiet and by himself more time. Side note one of the post had concrete on it. Last time I checked concrete doesn't grow on trees. On the lovely morning of June 3rd I texted Danny with All Type Fence requesting a refund and the post that were left in our yard before leaving the residence and asking permission to be picked up. i Never received the check read more
